Picking out a service such as air conditioning is kind of scary and nerve wracking since I have never done so before since I moved out on my own. I'm glad I choose Day-Aire. My AC kept tripping the breaker last night even after resetting it. I'm not a "handy" man by any means, so instead of trying to diagnose the problem and potentially burning down my house or killing myself in the process, decided I'd call a professional just in case it was due to an issue with my unit. Not surprisingly, every HVAC company I called was booked solid, and others didn't even bother calling me back. Thank God Day Aire came through in the clutch. Dennis called me back right after I left a message on the answering machine and said he'd send a technician out by late morning. Around 2 hours later the HVAC tech, John, called me to say he was on his way. I was weary he'd try to convince me that I'd need to buy a new unit since mine is close to 30 years old, but he basically went through the list of differentials and started with the easiest fix first. After checking the outdoor unit's output and the furnace, he narrowed it down to a faulty breaker (what I initially thought too). After swapping the breaker out, he stayed around for another 20 minutes to make sure it wouldn't trip again, gave me his personal number in case the thing shut down after he left and even said he wouldn't charge me additional diagnostic fees if he had to come back. Overall I'm very satisfied with the service. Only negative is that at $79, it's about 30 bucks more for a diagnostic than another company I've used in the past that also provides great service, but unfortunately couldn't send out a guy till tomorrow. Spoke to Dennis on New Year's Eve after seeing good reviews for him on yelp. My furnace wasn't working and thankfully Dennis was able to come out within a couple of hours, which was great considering how cold the entire house was getting! As far as the repair goes, Dennis explained that a temperature limit switch had tripped due to high winds. In a nutshell - he reset the button, showed me how to do it for next time, I only paid the service call fee, furnace was up and running and I'm a happy customer.Thanks again Day Aire. read more

After calling another company on Saturday with no return call, I called Dennis at 5:13pm. He was at my business by 5:30pm! He checked out my A/C - bits and pieces needed tightening plus it needed more coolant. He had it done in about 20 minutes. Inside the building, he didn't think the system was blowing enough air - so he brought in a ladder and looked at the ducts. One had a huge hole in it that someone previously had cut for an alarm system. He brought in some tape and fixed it up at no additional charge. Give Dennis a call for any of your A/C needs. Day Aire is wonderful!! Dennis, the owner, is extremely knowledgable, professional, and an all around good person. He took the time to thoroughly examine my old system, and the ducting in the attic. His attention to detail revealed huge holes in the ducting from rodents, and saved me untold amounts of wasted money by preventing the loss of cool air into the attic. Hands down best HVAC repair company ever. Called after my A/C went down overnight. Called a couple places before I contacted Day. Was getting the run around and couldn't be seen until about a week out which wouldn't do. I called Day Aire expecting to get the same answer I received from previous HVAC repairs. I called and spoke with Suvannah and was given the best guest service a person could ask for. She was able to set up a same day appointment 3 hours from when I called! WOW. I moved into my house almost two years ago and have been suffering with my janky unit that was a) on the roof, b) old and c) not efficiently hooked up. I'm going to replace my roof and decided to have my old unit replaced and have the new unit relocated to the ground. I had a recommendation to use another ac company and they gave me the run-around. Also, they wanted to overcharge me for an older off brand unit. My brother had his AC replaced last year by Day Aire and holds them in high regards. I decided to give them a shot and met with Dennis. He is extremely knowledgeable and his can do attitude really impressed me. He even offered me a brand new Rheem system with relocation for a cheaper price. The next week he came with his crew, Derek and Trinidad. They were so nice, helpful, and willing to problem solve any issues my old house threw at them. I'm so happy I went with this company.
