It's really a breath of fresh air to walk in here, you're greeted with a warm smile and complimentary water. Cindy takes the time to acknowledge and learn from her clients. The price is also not outrageous like some other salons nearby. There's recently been a 20% off spring discount and I've received another 10% off towards my next visit, I will definitely be coming here regularly.

I'm really disappointed with how a situation was handled by the manager, Lana. During my visit, a worker accidentally spilled nail polish on my $155 shoes (I was never upset with him since it was an accident). When I asked to discuss it, Lana took it upon herself to offer a replacement, which I appreciated at the time. She later told me to come pick up the new shoes and bring my old pair to exchange. However, when I arrived, the replacement shoes were a slightly different color than my existing one which was an issue because she insisted on giving me only one shoe because "only one was ruined." Shoes come as a pair... and I was never told I'd only receive a single, mismatched shoe. When I pointed that out, she repeated the same excuse and told me I should be grateful for the one shoe and "I made the employee buy me new shoes." She claimed I had "made" the employee pay for the replacement, which is untrue. She offered the replacement herself, and I never asked for it. Instead of taking responsibility as a business, she blamed her employee and then turned around and blamed me, going as far as calling me rude for making him buy them and bringing up his personal situation to guilt me. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. I can live without the shoes, but Lana handled this terribly. She and this nail salon are not employee or customer friendly and I absolutely will not be going back.

My sister and I walked into Essence Nails a couple of years ago before they were under new ownership and they were so nasty to us, we walked out furious before they even finished our nails. I vowed NEVER to step foot in their establishment again, but my sister informed me that they now had new owners who were great so, I decided to give them a shot even though I usually get a lot more stuff done than my sister does. (And she isn't as picky). I am so glad I did! Hana and Tony are super sweet and fantastic nail techs. Hana did a great job on my powder gel nails and Tony gave me one of the best pedicures I have ever had. I highly recommend making an appointment ahead of time because they are the only technicians there. The fact that I left the salon actually happy with absolutely NO complaints says a lot about the quality of service I received, because as I stated before, I am picky AF about my nails. Very disappointed to spend $84 and not have three toenails polished just several hours later and no real foot massage. It will say, though, Tony and HANNA have the most awesome personalities. She was patient when I decided to switch up my nail shape and finalize the design. While I do wish I had gone for a bit more design detail, overall I was very pleased with the outcome. I can't speak on the pedicures personally, but I did sit in one of the chairs while waiting for my service and they are top tier. They feature wireless charging and full massage functions, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. The salon also offers wine if your service is over $60, and non-alcoholic drinks if it's not. Their selection of colors and design options is huge, making it easy for anyone to find exactly what they want. The only drawback this time is that the chrome on one of my nails came off after just two days. I've had 3D chrome before and it's always lasted much longer, so that was a little disappointing.
