If I can give this place zero stars I would! First of off, the lady who did my pedi, she was great! However, the lady who did my nails rushed the job for sure! At the end my nails were uneven, bumpy, (due to the glitter and not being filed down), After I realized that my nails were looking a bit wacky I asked the manager if he can fix them. me and my family went in there today, four of my family members got pedicures. There goes looked so bad. Like a little kid did them. Ridges in the toes, not enough paint on the toes, corners were sloppy. Just very bad. it was rushed. me and my sister got our nails, Acrylic nails, they did good on my nails, but I asked for them to be shorter 6 times, still too long. On my sisters nails, they did great but it was very rushed. They would not give us a discount for how bad the pedicures looked and how bad the nails looked. I have 50 years experience with my feet and toes. Upon letting Ton know what I needed him to do he began to argue with me. My nail has always grown to the right and I have always had nail techs correct the appearance. Just a difference in how to file it, that's all. But not Ton, so I eventually refused to argue and left with a more crooked toenail. I am so disappointed with the lack of customer service. I would recommend going elsewhere. Updated: Only lasted about 9 days! So only go if you need them for a short while. I really wanted to like this place! I needed a new place in the area, but now I'm tempted to just drive the 2 hours to my previous nail lady! I used to work a job that had a lot of manual labor involved with our setup & breakdown. Then I also needed them to last through my workouts. My nail lady hours away will do a dip that lasts even through all of that for about 3-5 weeks! For the set of dip nails I got here, I was on holiday break & did nothing! They already started breaking after day 8 & by day 9 I had to get them removed. CUSTOMER SERVICE FAIL. They did not honor a gift certificate that I purchased in good faith, because they said it was issued too long ago (maybe 18 months old?). Nowhere on the gift certificate does it give any kind of expiration date. There are so many nail spas in this area, you would think a customer service would be a priority...apparently not. I never write a yelp review because I don't think we can always get what we want but I just got my nails done here and I am so disappointed, with how they turned but I think more so the service. I can write a novel and explain how they couldn't find the color I picked or how they had to try 4 LED lamps before we found one that worked but I think the pictures just speak for themselves. I think that it is extremely sloppy, just messy. I stopped at the store after leaving this place and was embarrassed at how they looked when I checked out. I would've really appreciated more attention and after noticing that I wasn't happy, which was evident after I asked for a couple of the nails to be touched up, I would appreciated acknowledgment for how it turned out. The nails are clumpy, which gel shouldn't be. The edges are uneven and all over my skin. I just moved to the area and needed a go-to place. It was very easy to be seen. When we arrived, they explained the different options and answered all our questions. Our friend even came with us as a drop in to get her nails dipped. She was seen and had a great time. My sister and I sat down for our mani pedis. They offered us a drink and set to work. When they had finished my pedicure, the tech stood up an left. I did not receive any instructions or even a request to wait until they dry. The tech working with my sister sitting right next to me, finished her pedicure abput 10 minutes later and made sure she new to wait until they dried. We were literally the only customers in the place and as soon as my daughters nail technician was done with her mani and pedi (total of 15 mins she spent on her) she disappeared to the back and never came out. My first time coming to this establishment was about 3 weeks ago. A friend and I were heading to the Grapevine Mills mall and were looking for a place to get a pedicure on the way. The first place we went to had no availability so we searched for another location and found Day Spa Nails. We called before heading up there and they had an hour wait. We scheduled our pedicures for about 11/2 later, which would be an hour before their closing time. When we got there there was only 1 other person there besides us. Even though it was an hour before closing they were so polite an accommodating and still took their time with the pedicure, and didn't rush it at all. The ambience of the place was very mellow and inviting- they even had a great selection of music playing. My friend and I had such a wonderful experience here that we chose to bypass all other Nail Shops that were close by and drive the 30 minutes back to this establishment this past Friday. I'm happy to report that our second experience was just as pleasant as the first. I don't ever get my nails done, just paint added. So, I cant really speak to that but I cant definitely tell you that the pedicures are AMAZING! They have various pedicure options to choose from at decent price points; I get the peppermint one. The peppermint gives you a tingling cold burning sensation and smells awesome! I know that doesn't sound appealing, and that description used in reference to something else could be concerning, but anyone that has ever used a peppermint product (Dr. Bronner peppermint Castile soap) would understand. Lol However, if that tingling burning sensation isnt your thing then they have other packages that have scents from fruity stuff to lavender. I want to like this place. I really really want to like this place, but I don't think I'm ever coming back. Yes, I see this place has 5 stars and that's really rare, but I can't give it that rating. Pros: Okay so Lynn was wonderful. She was personable and fun. She told jokes, did a great job on my hands and just made me feel comfortable. I loved her! I love the color choices. There are so many and I found my favorite color: Russian Blue. It just makes my toes pop! They take walk-ins, so having my mum and sister was nice. Also, they had a super cute kids chair and my 5 year old sister was comfortable and happy. Cons: Okay, this is where I go off. I had a woman who hated me. She obviously specializes with men because I did everything I could to avoid seeing her underwear. She didn't smile. She wouldn't talk to me. She just glared the entire time. She was cold as ice. I gave her a tip and she didn't say thank you. Hell, I didn't know when she was done because she moved on to he next person so quickly and said nothing. My mother had a man named John. Yet again, another cold one. He refused to say anything and acted like he couldn't understand me, but he could say "thank you" when he got his tip.... he set my mother's feet on the hot stones and let them sit there. He cut her nails so short that she's getting blisters and her toes hurt. Why would you do that? He was just so distant. He put the shoes on WHILE my mother's toes were drying because he wanted to hurry up and finish and messed up the polish. All in all, I'm not happy. read more

I've had a mani-pedi here several times. Today, I had a mani-pedi: Hannah did the nails.....very sloppy job...my nail color was not available..she tried to switch it to a much darker color. I finally chose a lighter color, but I had to convince her. I waited several minutes for her to help me out of the chair..and to check out...she was in the back, checking her phone.
