Unless you pay for the spa service, you don't sit in those somewhat comfortable chairs and they put you in a chair what was extremely uncomfortable to get my foot in the position the technician wanted. While they say they accept credit cards, the sign on the door says not on Thursdays or Fridays. How can you accept credit cards only 5 out of 7 days in a week? I also believe the prices are higher than the last time I was here. I think the technicians try their best with the situation they have. Sadly, this will be my last annual pilgrimage to this institution.

I came in the day before to make an appointment for the next day. They had a few price books and menus to review in both English and Spanish. At the time I made the appointment, I was asked to pay 100% for the facial. I didn't have my wallet with me, so after pushing back a bit, they said they would send a link to pay by credit card via WhatsApp. The link never came. The day of the appointment I was checked in. No mention of payment (or lack of payment) which the day prior has been such a big deal. The lady who did my facial was nice, but didn't speak during the entire process. The massage chair was very uncomfortable. During the facial the lady was unorganized and not prepared. She left a few times during the facial, she would drop things, and make a lot of excess noise. Facials are typically very relaxing for me. This one was rushed and I got the sense she wasn't experienced. For example, instead of massaging lotion on my face and neck, she would dab it with her fingers and then soon wipe it off. The extraction process was painful and extreme. My face is generally clean and I do my own extractions. She dug in deep in every inch of my skin trying to find something that wasn't there. My favorite part of a facial is when they massage your scalp, shoulders, and arms. This didn't happen. In the end she said "ok all done". Instead of the typical dazed, relaxed, peaceful state I'm in after a facial, I was left thinking "that's it???" Recommendations: Train your staff on an effortless customer experience, train the people doing the work on how to properly do the work, be more professional. If you've read this far, save yourself and go elsewhere. Artepil needs a lot of work and there are dozens of other high end spas in Puerto Vallarta.

The staff were welcoming, and were able to get us in immediately. The salon is no frills, which means no big massage chairs, no cocktails or wine while getting services, but what it lacks in those things it makes up for in great mani/pedis at a phenomenal cost. The space is small, but well kept, laid out nicely and clean. Mani/Pedi combined will run you around $45 with pedi alone being around $25. They do a bit more, but we were only after the basics. They did a wonderful job, were professional, welcoming and friendly. Overall, solid spot while in PV!

I had two blisters on my feet which she was very careful with. Price was $250 mani and $350 pedi and $500 massage. I travel to PV once a year and I had visited this place on one of my trips before. The ladies speak English to help with conversating. Then I had a 90 minute massage which was good but I had to tell her twice for harder pressure. She did have a methodical way and it was very relaxing. The place is small but very clean.

This guy knows his stuff and you will walk away with a renewed feeling and outlook. At 70 I have a lot of issues with chronic pain, I work at them with stretching and strengthening exercises but can never quite get the release I need. I was in Puerto Vallarta between Jan 11-25 and stopped to see Felipe 3 times. Every visit he took time to work the areas that were causing me pain and targeted them in depth with each visit. Today, back at home, I haven't been this pain free since I can't remember when. I'm also going to have knee replacement in February and Felipe took the time to work the muscles and tendons around the knee making walking more tolerable for me. It's difficult to find a good massage therapist, but you won't regret a visit with Felipe and I find his prices reasonable. Give him a good tip he is worth every penny! If you walk there from the beach, please be aware that the street he is on has been permanent blocked by a building. Maps didn't know that and took me up a long hill with no way to get through, so I had to go back down and around a number of blocks, then back up the hill. The exercise wasn't a problem, I was just grateful I gave myself enough time for the 15 minute detour to arrive on time.
