My neighbor hit my car and they wanted to pay out of pocket instead of using their insurance to fix the damage. I needed to find a reasonable estimate and quick service for the damage due to my busy work schedule. I was appalled by the estimates I was receiving from other local auto body shops nearby but DB Auto Body was very professional and thorough with the estimate given. Of course photo estimates are different than seeing the damage in person, so with the second estimate and the referral given by my neighbor, I chose to give the job to DB Autobody. I dropped off the car on Monday late afternoon and it was ready by Thursday afternoon. Talk about fast and excellent service. Phi, Bryan, and the entire team were incredible throughout the process. I even got my under engine splash guard and fenders done due to a different accident that happened beforehand. Amazing service period. My sister drove her 328i into DB Auto Body Shop for a side view mirror repair. My sister already bought a replacement mirror online, but to our surprise it was incompatible with her car. Phi & Brian at DB Auto requested the correct replacement side mirror that also beats the BMW dealership's autobody shop quote. Brian also smelled oil leakage from the car when we drove in, and upon inspection there it was and was quickly addressed. There was also an engine light that was not working due to an issue with a connector within the car. The mechanic Alan is an expert in BMWs and was able to locate the single malfunctioning connector embedded inside the car within an hour and replaced it. Now my sister has a safe vehicle to drive, quick and easy. The lounge has a nostalgic box of $1 chocolate bars that students from elementary school would sell for charity, which was a treat I quickly bought. In fact I bought seven chocolate bars! Overall, a well rounded experience with great prices. Though there is a surcharge if you pay with credit card, so I do advise paying in cash for lower prices. We are definitely coming back for custom window tints in a few weeks! read more

Our car was rear ended on the highway, damaging the rear bumper, hatch, rear lights, and part of the body panels. As our only car, we were hoping that there wouldn't be any major slowdowns. Danny did a great job replacing the parts on short notice, and did other minor cosmetic things as well, like tucking in a bumper tab in the front that came out, and clear-coating a tiny rust spot elsewhere. Danny is amazing! I brought in my 2007 Toyota Yaris because the engine light was on. I dropped it in the morning and they suggested me to leave it there for couple hours for further diagnostic. They called back to let me know the "result", it happened that the engine light was on because my gas cap was not closed tightly... "Owning a car costs a lot". I know Danny personally and what I'm about to say regarding the service experience I had with DB auto body is not good but will be good for Danny to better his service in the future. It's the truth I'm telling and I hope this helps. Someone hit my brand new car a while back and I immediately called up Danny and had my car brought to DB. When I got my car back, the color did not match. I asked Danny and he told me the car was too new and so they (the technology) did not have the correct paint for my car. Whoa, what the heck? My old friend got the same car, same color and got into 2 accidents and each time she got it back, same matching color, and the shops were just normal auto shops, both in the TL, on Ellis street, between Larkin and Polk. What I knew from experience of a year of working in auto body repair is that it is ez to find out the paint's ID: the frame area of the drive's door has the paint color matching ID. So, with that said, he didn't repaint my car. Additionally, the body parts did not align up correctly and I had to bring it back, left there for few more days in order to had the parts realigned. It is still not in the condition that I wanted to, and the headlights did not align evenly, also. I don't have all the time to keep bringing the car back. And there were other mishaps with my previous cars but being dumb and forgiving....(feeling dumb right now). I should've pressed him on it, but being dumb, I didn't do crap and walked away. So, it's my fault for being soft due to our "friendship", which now I know better should this situation ever happened again. But for now, it's an honest review and I will not patronize DB again. This place is the best place to get your body work done. Danny, the owner is very friendly and a cool guy. He gives you a very good estimate, especially on the amount of work that has to be done. The quality is really good and professional. 3 of my buddies came here to get their work done. First one just came to fix the quarter panel due to an accident and DB made it look like normal and hook my friend up with touching up the rest of the body for a low price included in the estimate. 2nd came because he wanted Danny to paint his whole entire car. Perfect paint job with good quality paint. After this car, my 3rd friend came to paint his car as well and it came out perfect. Both friends picked colors that were off other newer cars and the paint is the exact match. Now, we drop by to get our little stuff painted like lips, kits, anything that is in need of paint. I got a bumper painted here and it looked oem, compared to this other place in oakland i brought it to, the oakland place didn't wet sand and polish the clear coat so it looked rough. Why do I think you have to come to D B Auto Body Shop and do your vehicle body work here? This body shop has been around for some time as I heard it from a very close friend of mine and I wonder myself why people don't give reviews of this business until this moment. First, we'll start with the owner of the business Danny - For me, I would say just one word about Danny "TRUST" - You can trust this guy! He'd say something, he'd do it! He promised something and he delivered! This man understands what customer service is. His price may not be the cheapest around however whatever he charges you, he'd add extra services that would wow you! Yet, I still found that his price was reasonable and beat a lot of quotes that I called before I came to his place. Reasonable price + Extra Service + Trustworthy biz owner = Repeat Business. Dropped the car early in the morning after a negotiation with Danny, he promised to finish the car before the end of the day - front bumper re-paint. When I came to pick it up, it was an amazing job - it feels that the car just came out from the dealer after you bought it PLUS the touch ups on the car whole over made customer feel the services worth more than you paid. Danny, the owner of DB Auto Body Shop, is a genuinely, good, kind, honest, human being. About a few months ago, I took my car to a different auto shop to repair my front bumper. A few weeks later, both ends of the bumper popped back out. I took my car back to the same auto shop to get it fixed and found out that the shop shut down. I was so upset because I thought now I will have to pay more money to fix my bumper somewhere else. I looked on Yelp to find a good local auto shop and DB Auto Body Shop stood out to me. Since it was my day off work, I immediately drove there to inquire but didn't think they would be able to fix my car that same day. I was prepared to pay a few hundred dollars for the work. Danny came out from his office to assist me. He offered to fix my bumper that same day! Wait, it got better. He did not charge me anything for the work! And it continued to get better. He lent me his car to drive home and come back in a few hours to pick up my car! I insisted on paying him, but he refused. My car front bumper is now intact and now I feel safe driving anywhere.
