Didn't expect a grocery store kitchen to be this good. Came here specifically to eat chola bhatura and wasn't disappointed at all. Chola curry was not oily at all and was flavorful as well. For $7.99, the quality and quantity was great. I just wished bhatura was more fluffy. Also tried baba idli based on staff suggestions and liked it a lot. It didn't come with any chutney, we had to ask for it. Peanut chutney was also yummy. Now few things to highlight here: first the menu is super small to read, I highly suggest to get bigger screen or paste the menu posters on wall. Same for music, it's far away from the food court sitting area. TV screen is also small. Also when the food gets ready, they call your name but it's hard to hear/plus you can't see the item from the sitting area. Request management to take an action on this. read more

I got the $11.99 Chicken Vibdaloo at Spicy level. I guess they have Mild, Medium, Spicy and Extra Spicy. Spicy was good, hot, but not too hot that you couldn't taste the food. I haven't had Vindaloo since I used to get it at an international grocery store in Irvine, CA called Wholesome Choice. They had a large cafeteria area with foods from all over and I miss that place man. They had a Persian section, a Thai section, a Chinese section, an Indian section, a Greek section and a few other sections all situated inside a grocery store. So cool, and everything was always good. This Chicken Vindaloo was flavorful, with spices and not deep fried and covered in Soybean oil and MSG like so many other fast food places in the area. It felt super healthy and a very large portion. Try it! It was fun being a red haired white dude in there with all Indians. I kept looking up and catching an Indian woman in traditional clothing, staring at me, not in a bad way or a sexual way, no, I don't mean that at all, they were just not used to seeing a red haired, pale skin, freckled creature hehe. It is an Indian grocery store, crammed into a small space with hard to access grocery if you have more than 4 people in the grocery aisle. The aisles are too close to each other, I won't be surprised if someone feels claustrophobic. It's a relatively cleaner Indian grocery store, so I'll give it that point. They also have a restaurant/kitchen inside where you can order food and sit down to eat, don't have too high expectations from the sitdown though. read more

Unlike most other Yelpers, I've never purchased any food from the restaurant/eatery aspect of the grocery store. However, this is one of my main spots for my Indian grocery purchases. I purchase all my Indian spices here and my "cheat drinks" that I must have. Such aromatic ingredients I have found here bring a touch of life to curries, dals, rice, meat, vegetables and much more. The native spices are what is known as the seven spices of India and include cumin, coriander, clove, cinnamon, turmeric, fenugreek, and cardamom (all ones I use frequently). The evening snacks (samosa,pakora,chaats) and tea are all good. The seating arrangement is okay for a tea-time place setting,but not great for a restaurant setting. Minus 1 star because it's high time they do something to handle the large influx of orders without too much delay. Newly opened about a month ago as of September 2019, and it's both sparkling clean and well organized. This is a badly needed Indian-themed supermarket specializing in imported spices, Indian cuisine, and fresh veggies. Exceptional value on the bulk spices - I spotted a .99 cent bag that contained more bay leaves than I'd ever need. Nice selection of ghee as well, especially with the water buffalo version! Very cool place that's larger than a corner grocery store, but still very comfy as a supermarket. I definitely plan to come back when I need mango drinks, naan bread, and butterscotch ice cream. Really good quality South Indian food served at this place with a casual sit down setting. Their staff esp. Aparna, Madhavi and the male staff member from Nepal who often work at the kitchen counter are extremely helpful and accommodating. This is my 3rd time to buy fresh veggies & fruits here & it is my last. I don't think the owner knows how to store their produce here. It is not stored according to health code. They look unhealthy & when I select ones that look healthy & open it at home(same day purchase), they are all moldy inside-DISGUSTING‼ If you need help in this store they have no one that speak English except for one man. So come here when the English-speaking man is here. We tried their small restaurant for to go Indian food and we were disappointed. Both different ttimes we came to order, the foods were salty. We didn't bother to come back to get our money because it would be a waste of time speaking to somebody who did not speak English. We are not coming back for their to go menus & produce, but I can say they do have a great selections of over the counter dry pre-package goods which we will return to buy. read more

My husband and I both shop here. We like the store and it's assortment of foods. I went in one day recently and someone was stocking the shelves and had his mask around his chin with his nose and mouth open to air. My husband went in another time to find the cashier with his mask covering only his nose. I can't help but wonder as an ICU nurse would like for me to be as careless in their store about wearing my mask? We won't be shopping there, I can't help but wonder what else they're non-compliant with in terms of cleanliness and safety. read more

This market just opening recently and fills a big hole in the neighborhood. It's a great little Indian grocery store. I don't know much about Indian food, but I like this store and have found plenty of fun new items to try out. Here's the scoop: -They have staples like milk and eggs. This is great for when you are cooking and it turns out out you need a cup of milk to finish a dish. It's so much closer and easier than running to H-E-B for one thing. -There's a decent selection of fresh fruit and veggies. Every time I have gone in, this section has gotten bigger with more diverse offerings. I like how there are some more exotic fruits too. My kiddo loves trying new fruit, so I love this. -The imported cookies and candies are so much fun. I love trying new treats from different locales. They have so many fun ones to try and they are all very inexpensive too. -There's every type of Indian food you can imagine. If it's Indian, then they probably have it. -Huge freezer section of premade foods. I'm not a great cook, so I love finding the items I want that are already to go from the freezer. -The prices are all very reasonable. In fact, everything is downright cheap. I was shocked at how low the prices were. Yay for great deals! -The owner is almost always there. He's super friendly and is happy to answer any questions. He will even special order items for you if you request. He really seems like he wants this to be a little neighborhood shop for everyone in the area. -I heard they are opening a fresh made food deli soon. It wasn't open when I was there last but it sounds like a fun addition. I could definitely go for fresh made samosas on the regular. Overall, I'm happy with this store opening in my neighborhood. Worst experience ever. After hearing good reviews about their food, went ahead and ordered chicken biryani and goat biryani for out of town guests. Had to wait 1.5 hrs to pick up the food in the store. When questioned about the delay they mentioned that the biryani was overcooked and making the biryani from the scratch again but to our horror it was just colored SALTY rice with very few pieces. There was no flavor and had to throw away the food. As it was very late, I have called them the next day to bring it to their attention of course they dint even acknowledge it. The owner could have told us that they are running out of food and just let us go but he decided to screw the dinner with my guests. read more
