I talked to them about a month or two after he died to get the gift card and they basically said they can't help because I'm not on the account. So I decided to get a new internet carrier. Once I got the new internet, I called on April 7, 2025 and cancelled T-Mobile. My husband got an email stating that it was cancelled and a few days later, I got call from T-Mobile telling me how to proceed with returning the equipment. I returned the equipment on 4-12-25. Well, they still took money out of my bank for this month. I called them and they said the account is still open. They also said that we had to fill out forms because I was not on the account to be able to cancel it. Apparently, someone is supposed to get back to me but I'm not holding my breath. Fortunately, I got my bank involved and they're disputing the charge. I also cancelled the debit card that they used so now they can't charge me anymore.

Three other customers entered the store after us. There wasn't any privacy. When the employee asked hubby for his pin number, I had him write it down and hand it to the employee. The purpose of the visit was to find out how we could save money on our plan. The employee didn't know about the promotion and suggested we call customer service. Boost has recently waived taxes and the convenience fee when paying your bill at at a store. This employee wasn't informed about the changes. The phones are overpriced at this store. The selection is limited. If you need a phone cover or accessories, visit Eastern Market. There are two phone supply vendors there. Boost.com had cheaper phones. I would not visit this location in the evening, or again.

I gun it at about 85mph on the freeway and streets to make it to the Rhode Island RadioShack. I was afraid to see the percentage of juice i had at this point. They got to me on time and were Friendly staff but not sure know knowledgeable about T-Mobile products and policies. I write this review months after visiting because I wanted to see how things play out. It played out. I am part of a family account. I wanted to get a mobile hotspot outside of the family account. Or not. Whatever was easier and cheaper. The sales lady kept on telling me the hotspot is 50% due to a promotion. So I expected that price and factored it into my overall purchase. I was looking for prepaid data but not on a monthly billed plan. I ended up purchasing 50gbs of data to used until it runs out. I specifically asked multiple times "does data expire at the end of the month? " They said T-Mobile can't take paid data away from you. Guess what?! That data expired. I had to call T-Mobile customer service who said that what they told me I store was not accurate. It spent a lot more time and money than if I just did everything online. I wanted to avoid a re-stocking fees so I did not return my device. Right before purchase I'd the hotspot..... guess what? That device is NOT 50% off. I had to pay full price when the whole time they were selling me on 1/2 off. My recommendation. Deal with T-Mobile online. Avoid the brick and mortar store. I needed the hotspot sooner than later so went to the store.
