I ordered the Vermicelli bowl (Vietnamese vinaigrette) with shrimp and the shrimp spring rolls with spicy peanut sauce. The bowl came in a really container and was a very generous portion. It was super delicious!! The spring rolls were very good, as well, although I would have preferred the shrimp to have been boiled or steamed rather than grilled but that's just me nitpicking. The spicy peanut sauce was soooo good. The consistency was spot on. Many times I've gotten peanut sauce at other places, it is so thick but this was a perfect creamy,saucy sauce. This is my 2nd time coming trying this food, but it is my first time at this location. The parking is easy and close to the establishment. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the cashier with a friendly smile. I ordered the vegan "chicken" fried rice, crab rangoon, and a Dr. Pepper. I wanted the Aloe Vera drink, but that might only be available at the Maryland Heights location. The wait was about maybe 7 minutes to get my food, and the friendly cashier brought me my order to where I was sitting. The inside is clean, and the decorations are cute! The person who introduced me to this place is vegan about 2 years ago, and as I'm transitioning to eliminate meat from my diet, I'm glad there are options like this that allow me to eat out when I don't feel like cooking. Honestly pretty dissappointed with DD Mau. I got the Vermicelli noodle bowl with Chicken and it was okay, but exciting. The egg roll it comes with was fine, but sort of flavorless, and the Chicken and sauce were also not super tasty. Overall, would not get this again. read more

This was a functional dinner, but we certainly won't be back. Food-wise I really do not understand what people are raving about. The flavors were not complex at all (in a bad way. I recognize that sometimes simplicity is a good thing); the peanut sauce had to quite literally be ONLY peanut butter and the sweet chili sauce on the crispy tofu appetizer was much TOO sweet. The best thing we had were the Bao Sliders. I would recommend them. The prices were steep for what is essentially fast food; you have to clean your own table and the prices are the same as if I had gone to a lower-mid priced sit-down restaurant in St Louis. This is my second time here, my family's first. We came in on a random rainy, Thursday night. It was busy when we arrived but the wait wasn't long for our food. The cashier never said hello, hi, or mumbled any type of greeting to us, thanked us or anything during our interaction; just stood there with a sucker in his mouth staring us down. But he definitely greeted the patrons behind us. Not cool. The food however, was good. The table we sat at was kinda dirty, but I keep Clorox wipes on me, so I just wiped it off. The chicken fried rice is bomb, brisket pho was delish Thai chicken was also good and crispy. That chicken rice bowl is so good. The pickled veggies just set it off in the best way. I asked for my egg to be scrambled hard, and it was but it wasn't hot which was weird. My kids loved everything; this was their first time having pho and they thoroughly enjoyed. I'm always looking for a good Banh Mi, so I was excited to find a place near me in Webster Groves. I thought the veggies were really crisp and fresh, but I was disappointed that it wasn't served with pâté. I was also a bit surprised by the wait time. My friend ordered a bowl and was practically done eating by the time my order arrived, and I saw the couple after us got their pho (I think) before I got food, too. So a little eh on the experience there. I think I'd be willing to try them again, as the food when I got it was tasty afterall (and the limeade ruled!). Oh my goodness, this is the cutest restaurant I have been in- in the groves. I love the decor threw out as soon as you walk in there is a waffle wallpaper with different food on it. The line to the cash register has a funny posters of "epic rap battles with Tacos at shells." Once you get to the register, there is a beverage fridge. Once I got to the register, I was formally created and ask how she can help me. I had said I never been there before and she gave me lots of suggestions! I ended up going with the Steak Bahn Mi! The bread was so soft and not super tough. I am keto, but I was easily able to remove the bread to make it for keto fittings for my diet. Sometimes I like to get the bread just so I have a treat to bring him to my dogs, but they do have other keto friendly options as well from looking at the menu. The staff was very friendly. WOW. Wow! I'm an LA transplant, originally from Webster Groves, and this place is friggin delicious! We were craving pho so bad, and we're so happy with this spot. The staff were friendly and the food blew our expectations. It's a trendy and low maintenance style service (so a lot of grab what you need and enjoy), but they have all you need and more. This review is shouting from the mountaintops how vegan-friendly this business is. I'm not personally vegan but I have a seafood/shellfish allergy and that can be a challenging combination with my love for Vietnamese food. It's hard to come by vegan pho so I want to enthusiastically love on this business for their vegan offering --- and that it was so delicious! The broth was herbaceous and reminded me of versions we had during our honeymoon in Vietnam. Our carryout order was promptly fulfilled and the whole process was very smooth. This place came highly recommended from a friend and it did not disappoint. As you must when trying a new place, we way over ordered because there was so much on the menu we wanted to try! My partner and I ended up splitting all of these items: Bao Sliders (protein: pork, sauce: sweet chili), Vermicelli Bowl (protein: beef, sauce: spicy peanut, also comes with an egg roll), Fried Rice (protein: chicken) and a 3 piece Krab Rangoon. I can't tell you what my favorite was because it was all SO GOOD! A wonderful benefit of over ordering is we got to take home some leftovers, and I can't wait to relive this delicious meal. Their menu doesn't look like it has a ton of options, but almost every dish you get to pick the protein and sauce. Each sauce we tried was totally different from the next but equally delicious. My only complaint is I wanted even more sauce on my Vermicelli Bowl because the spicy peanut sauce was so dang good.
