The offerings include makeup, snacks, beverages, plush toys, stuffed pillows, body sprays, etc. The price point of the items was not too shabby. The overall aesthetic of the store was adorably inviting. I also enjoyed the musical selection from the radio station; very upbeat and entertaining. The staff members were even kind and friendly. So I came back today after visiting one of my locations that I manage in the mall. When I got to the location I was not greeted by anyone, I had actually walked up to two workers. I had let them know that I wanted to exchange my two candles I had, as my sister in law advised me on their exchange policy, however I did not have my receipt of purchase. The only reason I wanted to exhange was because after 45min of burning them they didn't smell like anything. Which I have never had this problem before but for $30.00 a candle I expect to smell something. They said it was fine but I might have to pay the price difference if I got a more expensive candle and I said it was fine as long as they accepted apple pay because I didn't have my wallet. I guess they couldn't put two and two together - didn't have receipt & wallet? Why would they ..I guess I am asking two much from someone who gets paid minimum wage. I stroll the store find a couple additional items to purchase, find the candles I want to exchange and a fragrance I want to purchase with coupon I have from their loyalty program. Waited in the long line got to the point of scanning my Apple Pay to be asked for my ID for the exchange. I told the girl I don't have my wallet that's why I am paying with Apple Pay. She responded with I need your ID to complete the exchange. We'll ladies that would have been great to know the second I entered your location! In the future you should explain your exchange policy when someone asks about it. Complete waist of my time, I was so frustrated I walked off and realized I left my brochure of loyalty coupons. The associates didn't even bother to stop me and give it back. My husband then called the location and asked if he could get our coupons back that were left or somehow add to our profile and they told him it was his problem and he would have to call customer service. Remodeling our 1990's master bathroom has been on our minds for years. I stumbled upon EG Custom's…read moreInstagram post of a recent remodel of a bathroom. That bathroom looked similar to our old bathroom with '90's flourescent light soffits and a big bathtub unit that dominated too much of the corner. My husband and I went to EG Custom's showroom which is across Home Depot's parking lot and was impressed with the staff. We soon met the owner Edgar who was very impressive with his knowledge and had great ideas. Photos of his previous projects had a lot of contemporary wow factor to them which we liked. Long story short, Edgar's team was very good, neat, hardworking throughout our bathroom remodel. In the office, Tashi and Corina were helpful with the computer renderings of project and had very helpful design ideas that helped us a great deal. Communication is key for us and Edgar and his team were always responsive to our questions and concerns. We felt the pricing was fair for such quality work. We did have changes along the way which Edgar easily dealt with. We were so pleased with the project that we expanded the remodel work into the master bedroom and living room. I went through several interviews and quotes with other renovation companies, and it wasn't a good experience, at all. finally called Edgar the owner of EG Custom Construction. Edgar invited me to come to his showroom in Stockton. I was surprised how young Edgar was, but even more surprised how knowledgeable he was. We made an appointment and Edgar was very professional even throughout the whole process. He made some amazing suggestions and keep saying this is going to look good. Well, he was right. The house totally looks unrecognizable from before. But the biggest things were again how professional he was throughout, so responsive to text or calls, able to alter ideas, great suggestions, good pricing, and the crew were just as awesome. Doing a renovation can be stressful especially if your doing a total renovation, but if you don't want the stress, have peace of mind at a good price, EG Custom Construction is totally for you.
