Nice restaurant, super friendly staff, really clean restroom.Went in to get something simple like French fries, didn't really it wasn't that kind of place aha. Right when I stepped inside it smelled good, like fresh pasta and garlic bread! I got a personal sized pepperoni pizza. The pizza was tasty, and it was a good size for just me. I ate a few slices and had some for later on as well. The service was quick, definitely recommend.

Have been coming here for a few years now thanks to my fiance and mother in law! They love it here. We came tonight for my mother in laws birthday and the food was soooo good per usual! The birthday dessert was the cherry on top of the night! Rafael and all the staff were so nice and treated us so well! I highly recommended you come and continue trying this hidden gem need to come back for their music nights!

Nice, friendly service, food as good as the first time I had it a couple of years back. Cute, cozy Italian restaurant tucked in Whittier. Had to come back for the lasagna again since it was hit. Soup was filling and flavored well, not salty at all which is great. The spumoni was delicious and a nice ending for my meal.

Came here recently for my birthday and had such a great time! Doug, the jazz guy, was performing; he was amazing and made me feel like I was in New York. The vibe was cozy, classy, and full of good energy. I always get the calzone here no matter what! it never disappoints. Perfectly baked, cheesy, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive. De Luca's is one of those local gems that never misses. Great food, great music, and great atmosphere; can't wait to come back again.

Ordered uber eats from this restaurant on a Sunday evening. Food arrived fast enough and they were packaged very well. We have tried crispy calamari, milestone soup, pork chop, penne pasta and baked stuffed pasta. Everything tasted so comforting in large portions. The Alfredo sauce was a bit salty but I love salt so I didn't mind. The food was more than enough even for the next day lunch! A solid local Italian restaurant for comfort food delivery!

Artichoke mushrooms and spinach pizza delicious

Like always the veggie pizza delicious. The service was excellent and the restaurant was busy. It is always a nice to go and enjoy this place.

I wanted a late night pasta dish and I just happen to find De Luca's. I've never been there and the inside of the restaurant was very cute and authentic! I did a call in order and the service was so fast! They weren't kidding when they said the portion sizes were huge! And my past dish came with salad and bread. Everything had great flavor! The bread was so fresh! And I loved the butter that came with the bread! Overall great experience I will be back

I'm not sure how this restaurant even has 4 star rating. Note that I did not eat the food here so I cannot judge the food. But based on my experience with their service and ambiance, this restaurant is a complete disaster. I had made reservations over 3 weeks in advance for 6:30pm for a party of 11. And when I called them on the actual day to confirm the reservation, they had made it for 6pm instead, an error on their part. But, he claimed they were able to adjust the time. When we arrived at 6:30, the host said that they could not seat a large party altogether and that we had to sit in separate tables far away from each other. This was a complete lie, as I had seen a large party in the main dining room when I walked to use the bathroom. Then, he confessed and told us that they mismanaged and didn't have our table ready so they needed 10-15 minutes to set up. But, the place was so packed and tight, there was no seat for us. We waited in their bar lobby area for 15 minutes and still no table, so we decided to leave and dined at Il Gatto restaurant in La Habra, which they were able to accommodate us last minute and seated us right away. This establishment is so outdated and dilapidated, it seems like the owner takes no pride in even caring for this place, which is truly disappointing. We had to sit waiting next to cardboard boxes and propane gas tanks. There was dust all over alcohol bottles and dents in the walls, and the inside was so hot with no air conditioning. It was really an uncomfortable experience. I tried to give this restaurant a chance but after seeing how unprofessional and disorganized the staff is and the lack of physical care or upkeep that goes into this restaurant, there really is no point.

Penne Arrabiata
Lorraine B.

The service was great, ambiance was nice. We had the Penne Arrabbiata which was very good! The flavor was great, just the right amount of heat (spice). The portion size was enough for two! We also ordered pizza. My favorite was the pepperoni, the others were a little too heavy for me. With that being said, they were all very good. Price was reasonable, parking available adjacent to the restaurant.

Their front of house focus is the wine bar, but they also have a good cocktail and martini menu, as well as a nice selection of food items. The interior is warm and cozy with two different seating areas. The larger front area has bar seating, quite a few tables, and a lounge area in the back corner with several couches. There is another area in the back which is smaller, and houses their cocktail bar and a number of two seat high top tables. You can order anything on the menu from either area. We sat at the bar in front for some Sunday evening cocktails and small bites. We started out with the spinach & artichoke dip ($15). The dip came out very hot, was a big portion, and was very good. However, the menu said it came with toast points, but instead it was served with tortilla chips which were just ok. The advertised toast points or fresher tortilla chips would have made this appetizer better. My first cocktail was the Limoncello Martini (vodka, fresh Limoncello, lemon juice, $15). I usually love anything lemon and this was a good martini with light lemon flavor. She started with the Purple Martin Martini (vodka, raspberry puree, pineapple, $15). This was another good martini with light sweetness from the raspberry and pineapple, not a sugar bomb. We wanted a little more food, so we ordered the Caprese flatbread ($18). It was a good size, and the dough was great. It had a good amount of cheese and tomatoes, and I really liked the balsamic drizzle on top. However, it did not come with the basil that was listed on the menu. Next, I tried the Peperoncino Martini (vodka, Italian Peperoncino brine, black pepper, extra virgin olive oil, $15). I loved this, one of the more unique martinis I've had. She liked her sip so much, she ordered her own for number three. Her second cocktail was the Carmel Apple Martini (carmel apple vodka, Licor 43, lemon, star anise, caramel cube garnish, $15). Most of the time, you would expect a caramel apple martini to be a sugar bomb, but not this one. The flavors were great with a light sweetness. And who doesn't like a caramel square treat? For my last one, I had the Cinnamon Sleigh (bourbon, cinnamon spice, maple, orange twist, $15). This was a good sipping finisher with light cinnamon notes and those great orange aromatics. KJ was our server, and she was very sweet and friendly. We came early in the evening and it was a little slow, so we chatting with her quite a bit. I'd take a half point off for the two food items not coming with the listed items, but rounded up to five stars overall. The bill had a 3% charge added for using a credit card. They have a music trivia night on Thursdays which would be fun to try. We enjoyed our first visit here, and will definitely return again.

But if you want it lively, go in on a Wednesday for some fun Bingo Boogie (trust me, it's soo much fun! I highly recommend it!) There's a great selection of drinks, between the wine, the beers on tap, and the beers in cans and bottles, you can't really go wrong. The service was great! They were super friendly, and even let us try a couple of drinks before buying a full glass. I fell in love with Delirium Red, which is a red beer with notes of Cherry and Elderberry. Food wise we got the Charcuterie for Two, it's just like that perfect board with different crackers, breads, meats and cheeses. It goes well with anything you drink for sure! We got the Chimichurri Steak, that was such a tender cut of beef, and the chimichurri sauce just gave it that extra zing. It came with a side of fries, and I love me some good fries, for some reason these fries were just the perfect fry, crispy with a soft center. Ended with the Baked Brie, because why not. It was served in a sourdough bread bowl and came with pita bread slices on the side. It was so melty and good, and did we go ham on that sourdough bread. Since we were there on a Wednesday, we got to experience Bingo Boogie. Which is super fun. You get a bingo card with different songs from different eras. Zee, who runs the show, is so much fun. We were all singing and dancing along. So if you're bored, or want to try something new, go on a Wednesday! Get some food at around 6, party starts at 7! Some places sit in the back of your mind for years…read more I first came to Macallan Public House more than a decade ago on a date and always intended to return. Life happened, years passed, and somehow I never made it back. Fast forward to today: I was driving my Tesla, jokingly asked Grok to take me somewhere for a beer, and it pointed me right back here. Walking in felt like revisiting a place that had been quietly waiting in the background of my story. The centerpiece is still the incredible bar. Shelves stacked floor to ceiling with whiskey bottles, glowing green tile behind the taps, warm lighting, and enough character that you can spend half your time simply looking around. It's the kind of room that feels both energetic and comfortable at the same time. I grabbed a seat at the bar, watched a soccer match on the TVs, and ordered an Old Fashioned. It arrived exactly the way I hoped it would: large clear ice cube, generous orange peel, balanced and smooth without trying too hard. Just a well-made classic cocktail. What stood out most was the atmosphere. These days I'm much more likely to be exploring hiking trails, photographing wildflowers, or driving mountain roads than spending time in bars. Twelve years ago, places like this were a much more regular part of my life. Coming back reminded me why I enjoyed them in the first place. Good conversation, a comfortable seat, a quality drink, and no rush to be anywhere else. The beer taps looked extensive, the whiskey selection seemed endless, and the entire place struck a balance between neighborhood pub and whiskey destination. Funny how a random AI navigation suggestion brought me back to a place I'd been meaning to revisit for over a decade. Glad it finally did. 5 stars.
