Been going here for years. The food and service is always good. Especially either of the two eggplant dishes. Delicious, one is regular and one is stuffed. Had my wedding reception here at De Luca's. 3 years ago this review is long overdue. I didn't know anything about Yelp back then . But I remember my now wife and I were looking all over for a great place to have our reception dinner. Since it was in July alot of restaurants had not availability. We met Rafael and from the start he was polite and worked his magic, we were concerned because we had about 50 Guests from our wedding . And Rafael had no problem accommodating our needs and was able to fit all 50 guests. We had a great time and a great dinner. All the server's were great . I appreciate Rafael . My husband and I attended the wine dinner in October. Everything was fantastic. Most of the items were curated for the wine dinner, so we'd love to come back and try items on the standard daily menu. The bread and butter is basic but hits the spot. The vinaigrette on the salad was yummy. The gorgonzola and fig pizza was tasty, and I got to take home leftovers for my breakfast. The pappardelle pasta was my favorite dish of the night. The cold gazpacho style soup was fantastic. My husband usually does not like that style of soup, but he loved it! Stopped by here for a Christmas get together. Parking was easy to find right next to the location. You're greeted when you enter and not long after seated. The menu provides the usual Italian favorites. I asked for an Italian margarita and was then advised they only have beer and wine. The beer selection is not large, I did not ask about the wines. We placed an order with traditional favorites...spaghetti meatballs, lasagna and fettuccine alterado. I found the spaghetti and meatball quite tasty. I enjoyed the ample sauce provided and the meatball also had a good flavor. As for the fettuccine, unfortunately we all thought the sauce appeared thin and lacked flavor. The lasagna was stacked well with cheese inside and out. Unfortunately the lasagna although ok was not great. Deluca's is good, but not great. I will probably not be returning to this restaurant. The food is acceptable. It works as being this type of food. Garlic bread is nice but needs to be baked longer for more crispness. Faggioli soup needs to be worked-up a couple of notches. Absolutely delicious!! Wanted Italian food and decided to try this as help had great reviews and did not disappoint!! Food was delicious and HUGE portions. Plenty for dinner and lunch leftovers. My husband and mother in law had the minestrone and they said it was delicious! My garden salad was good. Entrees we're half and half (ravioli and spaghetti with meat sauce), husband had the sausage and peppers penne, I had the chicken Marsala. Everything was delicious and freshly made. We ordered chicken alfredo and filet mignon. We waited for a long time to get them after we finished salad. The chicken Alfredo tasted good, but filet mignon was burnt, overcooked and it tasted bitter, which made all the sauce and vegetables around it tasted bitter. It ruined our appetite. This was the worst beef we had ever had. We didn't ask them to recook it as not to waste food. We told the waitress what happened and hope they would make improvement. The waitress was nice but she looked kinda new. A man looked like manager asked us what happened later after we told the waitress and offered us free dessert which was nice. Came here recently, hoping to try a local Italian restaurant, but this place unfortunately did not satisfy the craving. While the service was good, the food itself seriously disappointed. I came on a rainy Wednesday night, and we were literally the only table in the entire restaurant. I just kind of chalked it up to the less than ideal weather, and tried to have an open mind. The food menu had me a little skeptical of the authenticity as well; the only pizza options were "New York style". Upon reading the wine menu, they had very few options that were able to be ordered by the glass, so I just didn't drink. Our party ordered the garlic knots and the calamari as appetizers. For the main entree, I ordered the veal parmesan, and my partner ordered chicken parmesan. The garlic knots were super delicious, calamari was crispy as well. But then the meals come out: both dishes were served with a side of Penne and marinara sauce. Both the veal and the chicken were soggy and chewy. The pasta and the sauce were cold and underseasoned, and honestly reminded me of school cafeteria pasta. However, the service was absolutely amazing. Our server was super friendly and down to earth. People came by to refill our waters often. Our server did tell us that we were her only table for the night, and would be doing other tasks, so we could flag her down whenever we needed attention. While this was super nice, having servers run around throughout the restaurant means that we did have to wait a little while to get our checks at the end of the meal. read more

A minor flaw would be that the containers leak, so we had to clean the spill from the Chicken Piccata. Other than that, the food itself was superb. 1. Stuffed eggplant parmigiana (5/5): Nailed it! The name of it sounds like it'll be huge, but the ricotta and mozzarella was not overbearing or heavy at all. So so good. 2. Chicken Picatta (4/5): The chicken was a tad dry. But, I really enjoyed the white wine sauce with garlic, lemon and capers. 3. Caprese Salad (5/5): You really can't go wrong with this one. 4. Bruschetta (5/5): light & fresh appetizer! Had these with endives instead of bread. 5. Walnut Salad (5/5): I lovee walnuts, and I lovee salad, so the combination of the two were obviously delicious. Inspired to make this one at home too :) 6. Artichoke Hearts Salad (4/5): I love artichokes because it's fortified with iron, but I wish the dressing were less acidic. I think I would've paired it with a tahini dressing... 7. Pizza (5/5): got this one for her assistant, but she LOVED it too! Looked really delicious tbh... 8. Penne pasta (5/5): they offer gluten-free options too! You can add it into your special instructions for the order. I saw they gave a generous amount of bread and butter, but I didn't get to try them. We also had stuffed mushrooms, but they were not from here. The portions given were enough to last us three meals. Also, I can't stop thinking about the eggplant parm... this was my first experience with De Luca's but it won't be my last! Great service! Everyone was so welcoming. The food was delicious! I had the Angel hair garlic pasta with tomatoes. It was very tasty. Big servings, if you share, you will be charged $6 for sharing a plate. The bread is nice and warm and add butter it's to die for. The restaurant is not very big so I recommend to make reservations if you go late in the evening or in the weekend. They also have a small banquet room for big parties. The restroom was very clean. The decor is randomly picked like different memorabilia everywhere but it makes the restaurant unique and classic. We will definitely return. read more

Not sure what happened to this place but it is not what it used to be. Extremely disappointed! I go here every once in a while for the cioppino and have enjoyed it up until today. Instead of the red broth it use to come in with a nice amount of seafood, today my cioppino was in a pool of thick marinara sauce and only had 2 shrimp, 2 clams, 2 mussels and a sprinkling of calamari. There are too many tables squeezed inside an outdated place. There was no room for plates or to comfortably move around. The restroom was not clean. There was poop on the floor. The employees look overworked and stressed. The man singing Frank Sinatra was extremely rude to my table and my mother during what should have been a special moment to celebrate her birthday. He also called one of the workers an idiot on the mic in front of the entire restaurant. The owner or manager (whatever he is) is rude. When we explained the situation regarding the singer to the man in charge he laughed in our face and said he would not be compensating us in any way and told us we could leave a bad review on Yelp because he didn't care....
