I have come here a few times for lunch! The food is savory and hits the spot. I really love their Alfredo, foccacia bread is to die for , and salad is nice and fresh. I get the meal which comes with pasta , drink, salad , and bread! Service is friendly ! I took a quart home of raviolis to my family and they loved it. As far as restaurant itself , it is very outdated as you can see from pics so I would go more for food and less for dining experience. Many people get meals to go. I wanted an extra side of ranch (small cup like the balsamic in the pic) and it was going to cost a dollar more which is very overpriced. read more

My food was okay, although chicken was a little dry. My boyfriend ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, it was awful, I even tried a bite of both. The young gentleman that helped us was nice, however, his supervisor or whoever she was that was working new years eve was a little on the power trip side. She talked down to him. 11/8/24 - This review is not for the pastas. I stopped by after I saw a big sign in the window that said "Tri-tip". I love a good tri-tip sandwich. I ordered no.7 which included sandwich, small salad & drink. I believe the cost was $17-18. I don't know why but the last visit & this visit to two different De Vinci's was about the same; the cashier/waiter were both super shy. I had to ask her over & over again what she was asking me. I got the last of the steak and was glad I did after looking hard for a parking spot. I asked for croutons on my salad which consisted of whatever toppings you wanted. I asked for garbanzo & red beans with ranch dressing. When I got home I realized that she didn't give me any napkins but I did get the end of a broke fork--what was I going to do with that!!!!! Customer service is everything, and if you are going to work with the public you have to make sure the customer is happy or they will not come back!!!! My total came up to $23.+, I added a cookie which was $2.45. I have had these cookies before and they are good!!!! If I was in the baking mood I would not have got one. I cannot commit on the ambiance of the restaurant because I did not dine-in. The tables looked pretty clean. The pastas looked a little old, but customers were buying them anyway. I went there 2 weeks ago I got ravioli's. They were wrapped up in Saran wrapped. I don't know if they'd been sitting there for a long time. I wasn't really paying attention. I was on my phone, but the raviolis, when I got back to Lodi, opened it up, and they were raw. I won't be going back there again. I see that da Vinci's is going downhill. Terrible, they just hire anybody walked in there. Some of them cussed, not professional, but yes, I will never go back there again. Who wants to eat raw raviolis? They were raw. I ordered raviolis on my lunch break and the lady working was super rude like she was annoyed that i even walked in. She didn't ask if i wanted butter on my bread which was fine because i asked for some on the side, the problem was that my raviolis were uncooked. The raviolis were super doughy still and not even warm but didn't have time to go back because of being on lunch so wasn't able to eat my dinner that night. It is a nice surprise to know that there are still honorable people in Stockton. I left my wallet with a lot of cash in it in the counter last week. I did not even realize it was missing. I got a phone call from De Vincis staff or management asking me if I was missing it. After proving i was the owner I came to pick it up and everything was still inside over $200 in cash. I tried to leave them something as a reward and she would not accept it. Honest people honest establishment. I was regular customer and now I'm a loyal customer. I came here with some friends to try this place out and my experience was okay. I got the Combo #2 with Chicken Stroganoff and Tortellini Alfredo; the food was decent but it was warm and I wished it was hotter. The service is friendly and casual. This place was ok, nothing major. I had the pasta/salad combo. The salad struggled, it was nothing but lettuce and croutons. The croutons were fresh & crunchy. The focaccia was bland as hell. I was indecisive about the pesto tortellini or ravioli so I asked the worker what they liked. She said ravioli, so that's what I got. Ravioli was just ok, again nothing exciting. read more

Davincis was so good, I actually was able to get the day after items. The pesto tortellini was amazing and so darn good. The minestrone soup was also very delicious. I recommend giving them a try if you haven't already. Very very very delicious food. read more

Late review: A Caucasian lady with short hair there was rude and made my sandwiches terribly. She seemed under the influence and was not coherent. I had to repeat myself multiple times and she made my sandwiches horribly. Sandwich dressing everywhere and the sandwich was a complete mess. The other staff were fearful of correcting her and she was very defensive and clearly not in the right mind. She also tried to over charge us for pint of pasta when we got a half pint. Other employee had to assist and was checking to ensure she charged us correctly and caught the error. Not going back read more

This review is not on Dr Vinci's pasta which are very good. I've chosen to write a review on their tasty focaccia bread. I could live on bread. And if I had a choice of which bread to eat and nothing else, then I'd pick the focaccia bread at De Vincis. It's so spongy and buttery, and the taste is nothing like any dinner roll or bread. It's so good you can eat it as is, which is all I do. It was suggested to me I dip the focaccia bread in oil & vinaigrette but I haven't done it. Maybe someday, but as I mentioned, De Vinci's focaccia bread is good enough to be eaten alone. read more

Oh my goodness what's happening to this place. We have always come here for 30 something years. Last time was not good when we ordered sandwiches. Today we went and picked up food because we always brag about their pasta and bread and chicken. We took all of that over to a friend's house for dinner told them it was our favorite place to get this type of food. We were so embarrassed when we got there and everybody dove into the chicken it's so dry and unseasoned I don't know what's happened.. very sad and quite embarrassing for us. Not sure how I missed reviewing this place before when it is truly my daughter's absolute favorite! I got pesto tortellini with the focaccia bread. They butter the bread for you and it is always freshly baked that same say. My daughter got the raviolis with focaccia bread. I also had the rice torte. It is similar to quiche with rice in it. I also uploaded photos of the menu so be sure to check those out. I got a number one with a 12 ounce pasta and bread but I substituted the salad for extra bread. It also comes with a drink. Unprovoked and immature rudeness for no reason. Went in and placed an order for about 15 people (just over 96.00) this past Saturday. We spoke with a younger red headed girl who took our order and informed that there would be an at least a 15 minute wait. We waited next door until we received a phone call letting us know that our order had been ready then headed over for pick up. When we arrived the person who helped us had been on the phone and other staff members were assisting other customers at the counter. We waited patiently but then noticed that about ten minutes had passed and we were still being unacknowledged. Without making any kind of fuss, I used the wait time to move our car closer to the building. When I returned, I saw that my wife had walked out with a few trays. So I decided to go in to verify that nothing was being left behind. Once in, I noticed that the same individual who helped us had no longer been on the phone so I approached her since she was the one who we have been working with. She had been scooping pasta for an order yet didn't have anyone one in front of her, nor was anyone in line. Again, I waited for a few moments then asked if all of our order had been taken, only to be met with complete silence. (not to mention the same rude look on her face while we waited the first time). After a minute or two I waved my arms to ensure that she knew I was there. I was then answered by: ------------ "WILL YOU GIVE ME A MINUITE!------- with additional comments that I cant seem to remember. (not trying to make anything up). Of course I snapped back and replied "That's all you had to say". However she insisted on practicing the De Vinci's customer service handbook and added: -------- "just impatient I guess"--------( Proving that this individual is unnecessarily disrespectful towards customers) She then disappeared into the back making it clear that whoever she was scooping pasta for wasn't a priority for her; better yet verifying a simple question. Luckily one of the other staff members was polite enough to confirm that my wife had taken the entire order. In all; My wife and I had been in a great mood all that day and are always respectful towards staff. This sort of an experience was very off putting for us. The fact that this individual felt customers should be snapped at like siblings raised by wolves, and creating an unprovoked confrontation doesn't say good things about this place. I would like to invite management to check their cameras to whiteness their star employee in action. read more

Definitely better this time around-I purchased a fund raising ticket from a coworker and it came with your choice of pasta, salad and a piece of bread plus I picked up 2 pieces of their baked chicken. The sauce on the ravioli was thicker this time. The portions are still smaller than I remember but my son and I were able to split the meal and overall the food was a lot better than my last visit. I don't think I mentioned this in my first review but the service here is always great. The girls that work the counter are always friendly and put your order together quickly so even if it's during the lunch rush, the line moves fast. read more

A friend recently raved about De Vinci's ravioli, so we decided to have dinner there before heading to the theatre down the street recently. I had never been to De Vinci's before, even though I used to work right next to one of their previous locations in town (in Hammer Ranch Plaza). It smelled great, redolent of garlic and butter and basil - just how you expect an Italian place to smell. Unfortunately, that's about the nicest thing I can say about De Vinci's. In fairness, I was expecting something different, something more like a restaurant than a take-out counter. I was expecting dinnerware and not clamshell styrofoam, plastic tubs, and disposable utensils. I should add that single-use packaging is a huge nope for us if we can avoid it. The food was ok, but mostly forgettable. The focaccia was bland, and tasted like what Rainbo or Wonder might make if they made focaccia. The salads appeared to be straight from a food service bag of "mixed salad greens", and the sausage was dry and lukewarm. I asked my wife what her favorite part of the meal was, and she said, "The soda." That says it all, because she does not drink soda more than about five times a year, max - she's just not a soda drinker. But if that's her highlight...well, you draw your own conclusions. We did not hate De Vinci's. We just did not find anything that we particularly liked. read more

Not nearly the best in town! Fettuccine Alfredo isn't on the menu, and their idea of "fettuccine tortalini" leaves much to be desired. More like glue balls, with oily white sauce! It was almost as if she assumed I had been there before but I told her I was visiting from out of town. One thing I didn't like outside of the service is the salad is literally lettuce. I had to pay an additional $0.65 each for the cheese turkey additional dressing and tomato pictured. The Alfredo is bland and meatless and like a ravioli.
