This restaurant was absolutely astonishing!!!! Everything we ordered was delicious and I am very impressed with the service that is provided. The waiter, Raul, was very observant and provided EXCELLENT service. When drinks were running low he made sure to fill them up without us asking. We will definitely be dining here again!

    Happy Hour Menu 2026

Came for a recent happy hour experience with friends. The server was very nice and attentive at the bar. We only ordered appetizers to get their happy hour pricing. Honestly, the food we ordered was not picture worthy. The meatballs felt mushy. The calamari and shrimp just tasted frozen. The fried raviolis were way too crispy and didn't have much flavor unless you drenched it in sauce. The bread basket was decent but very small pieces. Unfortunately nothing really wowed us and I don't foresee us coming back.

My party and I came to De Vega Brothers for lunch and overall had a nice experience. We ordered the raviolis, Mediterranean pasta with shrimp, Italian sausage sandwich, and Greek chicken. Portions were plentiful and filling. The fried asparagus special was tasty but felt small and pricey for what you got. The Greek chicken had good flavor but could've used more marinating, as it was on the dry side. For drinks, we had a margarita and strawberry daiquiris, both refreshing and enjoyable. Service from Carol was great -- she was very sweet and attentive, which made the meal more pleasant. The restaurant was very quiet during our visit, with only two other tables dining at the time. The clientele leaned older, giving it a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but for a leisurely lunch with good service, it was a solid choice.

This place has been around for years and just recently tried it out for the first time. We ate here to celebrate my mom's birthday and had a great time! The restaurant is spacious, perfect for a big group, and our waitresses were amazing. The food was also amazing! Our favorite was the ahi tuna bruschetta, would definitely return for that. The Spumoni and white pistachio ice cream is a must try as well. Would definitely return to try other things.

Went here a few days ago but just now getting around to my review. Raul the bartender is fabulous! Very friendly and makes great drinks too! All the regulars at the bar adore him! The food was good. Portions are rather small. I attended a work Christmas party. It was advertised as $35 a person for chicken Marsala, mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies, salad (an amazingly delicious dinner salad) bread, and a non alcoholic beverage. All this and it included tax and chip seemed like a reasonable price. The potions were smaller and felt more like a lunch size portion. We were given water with lemon and cucumber as our "non alcoholic beverage "! That was tacky, should have not even said we got a non alcoholic beverage as water is served on all tables free of charge. This was not a huge deal for me as I was drinking adult beverages from the bar but others from my job who don't drink alcohol were very disappointed. They charge $2 a person if you bring cake inside so we opted to not but they did let us brings cookies and didn't charge us for doing so. Parking is challenging and I would not recommend visiting here if walking is a concern for you. The distance from parking to door is quite significant. This is a local family owned business which I love to support small local businesses! I do recommend this place but with the caveat that you ask lots of questions and get a solid understanding of exactly what is included in the group pricing rate.

I have ordered this salad multiple times in person and on door dash and it never misses. It comes with fresh avocado and chopped mangos and tomatoes. The ingredients are always super fresh and I can always count on it to be consistent with a good serving of salmon. Pictures don't even do it justice as I took a pic after already beginning to devour - I had no patience ! It always comes with large servings of complimentary bread whether you have it there or to go. Will be ordering again and again! Service is attentive and courteous when dining in! Can't wait to try more dishes.

As I am a previous resident of Stockton I know there are a limited amount of quality and classy restaurants here. Well De Vega Brothers has great food that is affordable, served in a pleasant environment with professional service. I normally work remote however whenever I report to my office in this complex I always smell the yummy food coming from the restaurant. When ever we have a special occasion, retirement, promotion or birthday we normally make a reservation at this nearby place. The menu has a wide variety of pasta dishes , entrees, salads and soups. The garlic bread that we always smell when walking by is delicious as well. The ambiance is classy yet comfortable, with a full bar which unfortunately I can never partake in due to attending during work hours. The service has always been prompt and professional which I appreciate especially when you are with a group. Highly recommend for great tasting Italian food served with a smile!

Came for a bday dinner really early after work about 3:30 and it was empty in here. We did make reservations. For a party of 6 be prepared to pay a gratuity of 18%.. price range from $20-$55 for an entree. Food wasn't very spectacular everything was mediocre or did not taste good. The best thing was probably the garlic bread. I got the Greek chicken and tri tip combo for about $36 you get a choice of side salad or soup and Choice of side which is a pasta of your Choice or garlic mashed potatoes that came with a mushroom Sauce. Looked like the same sauce for the chicken Marsala. Probably preferred my Garlic mashed potatoes without it but we didn't know it came with it. The chicken tasted good not dry but very thin piece. The tri tips were like beef jerky thin and not cooked to my liking i ordered it medium rare and it was well done. To burnt for my liking and chewy. It's a sweet marinade so want expecting that flavor. My co workers filet minon was over cooked and very dry. She barely ate it. Everyone didn't want to bother to ask to send it back to have the meat re made. The place looks pretty empty. And the service was ok the gentleman was very nice. I think he was the only waiter at the time. They did sing happy bday to our Dr. with a tiramisu which was nice. But it didn't taste that good. Probably wouldn't come back or recommend. I would eat somewhere else for the price you pay!

Some plates were worth it, others weren't, and at the prices they're charging the gaps were hard to ignore. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. The deviled eggs were a hit at the table and went fast. The jalapeño on each one was a nice touch, though the heat varied depending on which egg you grabbed since it was just a thin slice. The salmon cakes were solid, nothing to complain about. My mom's ceviche tostada was loaded, the avocado was generous and fresh, but the ceviche itself lacked the acidity you expect from the dish and had very little shrimp in it. She said it felt more like a lunch item than a dinner offering, though two of them were filling. My mom's friend had the steak frites, which was the standout plate of the night: a lean cut with a rich mushroom béchamel, well cooked, and the frites were fried rather than what you might expect, but the flavor delivered. My dad's spinach salad was underwhelming, overdressed with a balsamic that was too sharp and overpowered everything else. My ribeye was the disappointment. At $65 I expected better. It was thin, closer to pounded than what you'd expect from the cut, came out medium instead of medium rare, and didn't feel substantial for the price. The baked potato was a basic side, sour cream and onion, nothing more. The broccolini arrived at room temperature, borderline cold, which was unexpected. The au jus on the side didn't add much for me. Service was attentive but veered into overdone territory, the kind of performative politeness that signals they want a good tip more than they're genuinely being warm. It was noticeable. Also worth knowing: if you're seated near the windows, the afternoon sun can be blinding depending on when you go. The atmosphere is genuinely nice and this place works better as a brunch spot than a special occasion dinner destination. I've had better meals here before, which is why I know they can do better. One practical note: if you're parking in the disabled spots near the leasing center next door, the sidewalk doesn't connect to the restaurant entrance. You'll need to go through the parking lot to get there.

The food was just your typical diner type, greasy spoon kind of place. I got an egg white omelette with ham (looked like cut up pieces of thin sliced deli meat) and asked that fresh potatoes be boiled in water or steamed in water due to food allergy. What I got was fried potatoes. When I questioned the server he just said that's how they come. Do they not have raw potatoes in the back they could have boiled for me?? The taste of the omelette was meh and I only ate 4 bites. I obviously didn't eat the potatoes. The English Muffin felt oily, like someone touched it with greasy hands. I had asked for it to be dry and with no butter. So basically I didn't eat any of my food and will not be back (this was my third time here and none of the other experiences were any better.) Such a shame because it is only 5-minutes from my house. My dad ordered the chicken fried steak and my mom got the taco salad and both of their meals were inedible too. The food here is just BAD. I told the server I didn't like my food and he didn't even answer me. He took away three plates of uneaten food and no one asked if there was an issue and no manager bothered to come over to even talk to us or try and make it right. What a HUGE waste of money. Don't bother eating here...so many other places to eat that are so much better. This place was packed and no real waiting area...everyone just squished together. This is a hustling and bustling place, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, at least don't go when we did. Best part of this place is their wall for taking pictures. I think they care more about making things look IG worthy, than the quality of the product they are serving.

They were the perfect mix of crispy yet juicy. One thing to note, if you order for pickup, make sure to arrive promptly because the food can get pretty soggy otherwise. The side sauce was pretty good too. I wish there was an online substitution option though because I'd prefer something like ranch instead. This spot's prices are a touch higher compared to restaurants in the area but the quality and portions really justify it. The employees are incredibly kind. When I stopped by to pickup my order, there was an employee cleaning the outside patio who immediately stopped what she was doing to open the door for me, went inside and washed her hands before even handing me the bag. The small details like this really make the experience so much better. It is especially reassuring to see how sanitary they are here too. I do not hear anything current or relevant when I am there. Me and my gf usually go there because its close and thats it. We are usually the only ones that truly dance and are the reason alot of folks said they enjoyed their time (even though they agree the music and atmosphere sucks- it looks like NY ). We have never got offered free drinks or anything complimentary for attracting a crowd or bringing friends. Everywhere else, this is usual when attracting customers for a bar. Too much staff... It is not POC friendly. I have heard almost everyone I know complain about the demographics and the bad music. I also see alot of DL men hovering by the bar in bulk so I am guessing it may be catered to them they tend to by the most drinks. I have had many friends there make the same statement. Overall, just leave this one alone and go to Islanders. More POC, more diversity in staff, no awkward fake moments with the Owner (who is as uptight as they come), and more fun people. I try to be nice to the DJs because I can't tell if their fault or the owners either way. I won't go unless I am desperate. Unfortunately, this business doesn't keep up with the times.
