This was a very good escape room, extremely interactive too however a little graphic for me. I recently suffered a pretty real life graphic loss, and this room hit a little too close to home. I do think it should have come with some kind of a warning. At one point we were dealing with body parts, bloody clothing, photos of bloody dead bodies etc. Both my husband and I suffered pretty bad PTSD in that room. Also it was dangerous. The lights go out a lot and at one point I banged my head into a low VERY LOW hanging metal cabinet, right on the corner of it. You also put your hands in water and other things. I will say the room is cool if you aren't suffering a recent loss, and the way you get from one room to another is very clever. Overall if they made another room I do think I would try it, I would just prefer a warning if I'm about to see dead bodies. read more

THIS PLACE WAS GREAT! We went last night and had so much fun! We've done quite a few rooms in the past and this was near the best so far! The clues were excellent and the props were very well done. You can tell a lot of care and pride has gone into their rooms. 10/10 will be back for another. We were allowed an extra few bonus minutes to finish up after going long on our hour, which was very nice of the host. We signed up for the Witch Doctor. We had 6 people in our group (3 adults, 2 21 y/o and a 13 y/o) and have never played an escape room before, so it was difficult to choose which escape room to do either in Reno or Tahoe, but I liked that this one was newer and the rooms apparently were really creative. It did not disappoint! We completed it with 40 seconds to spare, the room was spacious enough for us 6 and everything was decorated with a lot of detail. You can tell they put so much thought into this and it was satisfying once we solved each puzzle--challenging, but not too difficult, it was just right for us. When I walked towards the building, I couldn't even tell the escape room was there. I was really skeptical since I started to think we got scammed then finally we found the door. I put the entrance fiasco behind to try and get a fresh point of view that what's on the inside that matters, and I am so glad I did. New Escape Rooms in Reno! These are among the best we have been to yet! We started with the room Dead Silence. Great story line, the puzzles all went in a logical order, one leading seamlessly to the next. While some rooms can be difficult to make sense of the clues and how they help you progress, this was not the case here. We had so much fun that we then stayed and played the Witch Doctor room. Another great room! The owners were gracious and talked about their passion for what they do. At dinner afterwords, we just kept talking about the rooms and how much fun they were. I've done dozens of escape rooms in Southern California, the Bay Area, and Reno and this was my best experience so far. The stories were good, production values good, series of puzzles challenging but clear and well ordered, everything worked well technically, etc. The "Dead Silence" room definitely has some gore/violence, so there's a question about age appropriateness and squeemishness, but if you're good with it it's a great room. I'm excited for Noir to open soon! read more

I've played nearly all the escape rooms in the Reno/Sparks area and I have to say, Deadline has the BEST rooms in town. You can try to find one here that tops them but you will most definitely fall short. I've played Dead Silence which is a dark room where you are given one light source. If you make any sort of loud noise, the light shuts off and you will be left in the dark. Witch Doctor was such a beautiful room, if you're into crystals it's the room for you :) I most recently played Noir, a murder mystery, where the room is ENTIRELY in black and white like a 1940's Noir film. They even got the lighting to be that way as well and it had me fully immersed. I will definitely be back for Freakshow and any other rooms they have to offer in the future! Give them a shot, you will not be disappointed. read more

We have done close to a hundred escape rooms and Deadline is one of the best designs we have ever seen. The rooms were an entire immersive experience and we lost a few minutes in each room because we couldn't stop talking about how amazing the designs were. We did all 4 that were available and can't wait for the new one to open so we can come back!! Also, the gamemaster was perfect - he was available immediately if we asked for a clue but he didn't barge in and give us hints when we didn't need them either.
