I called the office to explain that I was told I would not be billed and they confirmed before my visit with the insurance company that both xrays were covered. Employee advised that the insurance company must have wrongly told their employee who checked my coverage prior to my visit. I contacted my Insurance company who checked their records/call logs-recordings and provided me a letter stating no one from the dentist office called prior to my visit to verify coverage. This caused a lot of anxiety and hadn't been to the back to the dentist since until today. As for the 5-6 others, it has been 8yrs, I finally just went back. I have only 1 small cavity now that just started to form. Get a copy of your X rays and get a second opinion. There are online services that do that now. I had a dentist when I live in Wheaton that was less than a mile away, and she was good, and it's a hassle finding a new dentist. I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Although it's still not super close to my home, still easier than going to Wheaton and worth the drive. Overall, I highly recommend Colesville Dentistry.
