I don't have the greatest credit and I just started a new job, but I was able to give them a good size down and they were able to work with me monthly payments. Drove my car home on Tuesday. Thursday night, I had a major oil leak. I called them Friday morning and they fixed it right away no hesitations no questions. Pick it back up Friday ran great. Saturday and she doesn't start. I'm not a mechanic so I have no idea why but I guess the battery but they went above and beyond they drove to my to the vehicle got it started. I drove it to the dealership and they fixed it and I had it back again the same day. If you ask me that is above and beyond what a dealership has to do when selling a used vehicle. Over the years my family has purchased several vehicles from the dealership and they've always treated us with respect and this time they went above and beyond!!! I took time off work, brought a second person with me, and even had our family mechanic come along to inspect the vehicle. The car's A/C was not working during the test drive. That immediately raised concerns for me about the dealership's reconditioning process and the overall condition of its inventory. We also observed six separate rock-chip impact points on the front windshield, a partially worn windshield seal, and what felt like an unstable suspension during the drive. The dealership agreed to repair the A/C but refused to replace the windshield, offering only to fill the chips with resin. They had their mechanic inspected the suspension and come back saying it was good. Based on what I experienced, I decided to walk away and take my business elsewhere. In my opinion, the vehicle was not in the condition I expected, and I left with concerns about their thoroughness of the inspection and reconditioning process.

I messaged them about a GTI they had in…read morestock and they replied immediately telling me about the details - availability, existing / additional warranty, when I can come by to see it, etc. Once I decided I wanted to see the car, I asked if I could bring it for a pre-purchase inspection at an auto shop and they agreed. I would recommend that if you go that route, you should try to make an appointment at any of the local shops ahead of time as they seem to be pretty busy even on a weekday. Once I arrived, the guys were friendly, easy going and gave me time (alone) to inspect the car and to ask questions once I was ready. Long story short, I bought my GTI and I appreciated the no hassle process. Since I live in SF, they even worked with me to have the car delivered on the weekend (great customer service, right?) I pulled in and walked around the lot and didn't see anyone. I had to go, so i decided to come back the next day. I walked into the office and met Tia who got me the keys and let me take the truck for a quick drive. No pressure, no sales tactics. I had pulled the carfax the day before and asked a couple open questions about the car to see if they would provide accurate information, and Tia was 100% honest about everything. I asked if i could take it to Toyota for an inspection the next day and she had no issue, let me check the truck out for the entire day. Toyota gave me some small items like tires, struts, etc - its a 20 year old truck - but said otherwise it was in great condition. I came back to Moun and we chatted and agreed on a fair price. The banks were closed by then so I came back with a cashier's check for the vehicle and Tia had all the paperwork printed and highlighted so i only had to spend about 10 minutes before i was able to leave with my new tacoma! I was surprised to see the poor reviews for Moun auto sales but i also noticed they were all several years old so perhaps management/ownership has changed. Either way, i'm happy with my experience and purchase with Moun Auto Sales and Tia.

The dealer pulled up the Carfax for my Civic and gave me TERRIBLE news. It turns out that the previous owner before me got into about 9 car accidents! It was still somehow a clean title. I wasn't able to trade in the Civic because of the lengthy Carfax. I remember at Moun Auto Sales that they showed us a CLEAN Carfax. They probably just looked up some other 2006 Honda Civic with a clean record. I unfortunately don't have record of that false Carfax they showed me. Make sure that when you're looking at Carfaxes that they match the VIN of the vehichle you are trying to purchase!!! DO NOT go to Moun Auto Sales!!! They are SCAMMERS!
