Unfortunately she did not purchase insurance within 5 days but she had called and informed them that she was purchasing the insurance in a couple of days and they were ok with it. THEY LIED! They repossessed her vehicle and when she tried to contact them to provide insurance and pick up the vehicle they kept telling her that someone will call her back and she kept calling for almost a week until we finally went there. No one wanted to help us and kept telling us to call the number in the office which we in turn advised them was not helpful at all. Finally someone answered and he said his name was Peter. I informed him that I need to get my daughter's stuff in the car. He told me to meet him at 4500 Dry Creek Rd at 7pm in the evening. When I went to that location one of the shop owners told me this people are scammers and that we were the 30th customer that came there looking for them. I saw an suv I wanted to test drive and I asked if it was still available. Was told it was so I said I would drive down the next to look at it. I asked again before I left as the drive was two hours so I wanted to make sure it was still there. Was told yes again so I drove the 2 hours and 15 minutes before I got there I asked them to bring it around so I could test drive and was told it was sold the previous day! I was still willing to look at another car but was told they don't let you take it overnight to test drive it and take it to a mechanic to preform a pre purchase inspection. There were a few little minor inconviniences but nothing major. I purchased the extended warranty, but I wasn't given all the paperwork for it or told that the cap amount was $500 after that I would pay out of pocket. Tried calling dealership to see where the issue was in there end but didn't pick up calls. They told me to get insurance in 5 days, got liability insurance in 2 days. On the 5th day, they called me suddenly saying I need full coverage. They never said that the day I purchased the car. Told them I need 2 days to get it because all of my money was spent on the car. They said I needed to get it now. Two days later, I was coming out the grocery store, my car was gone. They used a spare key and took off with it. I was told I need to get $950 to get it back. Which is ridiculous! Update coming up, and I do this because of the fact I did have to change 1 tire but that is not a surprise with the cost of the vehicle, however - we made it 8 hours through the drive to LA and back. There is one problem that has caused my star kept to a 3, as I expected more regarding critical indications. The typical indication on the dashboard did not keep up with the actual problems. Coolant and oil almost messed my car up - luckily when the AC stopped out of nowhere and I saw the heat gauge go up. I had to go to the mechanic to get it figured out. Two stars is generous for this place. Rudest employees ever. They specialize in high mileage, very inexpensive cars. I called to see a car and they told me it was there. Drove 40 minutes to see it. It was gone. The employee was annoyed I asked to see it. He suggested I consider a Passat and pointed to a Jetta nearby. I left but was still interested in the first car. I called again. Apparently an employee had driven the car home. Ok whatever. So I drove 40 minutes again a few days later. The car was there this time. I started asking questions about the cat and apparently the price of the car was posted incorrectly to both their website and Craigslist. They wouldn't honor the posted price. These guys ..NO GOOD! I was charged $500 more than the advertised price. The ad clearly stated that the SUV had ZERO leaks...there's a leak in the transmission case half as well as the oil pan. The snake told me that the pretty yellow dashboard lights were supposed to be there ad it didnt mean anything important. Come to find out its the ABS and TC...which mean problem in the braking system... This is such bullshit...Dude wonrt respond to my messages. Hes the devill. Says it was registered til 8/22 and ready to go anywhere..but the tags are expired....Sway bar links broken, AC does not work ...there is no equalizer with aux bluetooth...The cd player is actually broke. I traded my car in and explained to Ricardo Delreal that I was a single mom and had just moved back from a different state. When I did the paperwork w/ his employee, his employee didn't even complete the paperwork correctly. I had liability on the vehicle I traded my car in for and was told that liability was okay to have. (contract says otherwise) yes I should've read it thoroughly. Not once did I get a call or a reminder that it should've been full coverage. Before even walking out the damn place, his employee said liability was fine. My car ended up getting repossessed. I called the sheriffs office and they provided me w/ the tow companies information. That same night I contacted the tow company asking why it was repossed they told me they were not sure and that Real Deal Auto had them repossess it. That same night I texted "Ricardo" or "Richard" expecting a response back. I called him and it kept going to voicemail. I then called from a different number and he answered. I asked him why he had the car repossessed, he told me he did not and that he was not the owner but just a worker. I asked about the vehicle that I traded in and he told me that it was sold to the auction already. Mind you my first payment wasn't even due yet. He then said he would call me back and never did. I continued to reach out and texted. He ignored me for a whole day! Next day I was able to get in touch w/ him and he asked me how I got the tow companies information, I told him I called the police and they provided me w/ it. He then proceeded to tell me "I wish you would've called sooner, now there an extra day fee" all in total it wouldn't costed me over $1000 to get the car towed out. I ended up going to the tow yard and my tires were flat, I gave the keys to the guy on the yard as well. I can Ricardo again and he tells me "he will see what he can do". Fast forward to a few days later, I call again and ask him what's going on. He tells me I can pay to get it out. I already gave the tow yard the keys and my tires were flat. I could've paid for all the fees, plus getting full coverage on the vehicle but to have my tires flat and then have to pay $520 for my first car payment was not worth it. One thing I will say is -- I come from a place of where I've struggled. I come from a community that needs help and this company claims to want to help people but does shady business. I'll take the loss but what I'm not gonna do is allow this company and this man to keep taking advantage of people that need help. I was stuck in a sticky situation. Haven't been doing well these past few months but what you don't know Ricardo Delreal is that I'm a smart individual and I work along side very prominent people. CALIFORNIA Civil Codr 1689 protects consumers for canceling any agreement within 72 hours without getting penalized by any establishment or business entity. ANY deviation from this law of 3 day is violating thos law. Do NOT make any deposit on any car from this place. I agreed to make a $100 deposit. I saw on my bank statement it became $103 which I did not agree, and within 48 hours I cancelled in writing. I disputed this $103 amount and this Real Deal auto is refusing to return this deposit indicating a fine print which is a deviation of the California Civil Code 1689 to return any deposit within 72 hours. Why would a customer lose $103 which is something a customer fid not receive an item nor service for? I did not any item nor in my personal. This is pure extortion and dishonesty. No wonder, customers will not endorse doing business with any establishment thst is without integrity nor deviating from the rule of law. ZERO STARS Car was listed on cargurus.com for $2,700.00. My son and his friend went to look and test drive. The salesman offered to hold the car for my son if he put a deposit down. His friend said he would put down $100 for my son. The salesman says put down $200. He wrote out a hand written receipt after he received the $200 and wrote on the receipt that the deposit was unrefundable, but didnt say anything about it. Go back today and refused. First he said he had a guy who wanted to buy it but he was holding it for my son. Then he said to check the receipt, the deposit is unrefundable. But all the time it was listed on car gurus..so how was he "holding" the car. The manager comitted a crime, Misdemeanor FRAUD. RUN DONT WALK AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE‼ I scrolled through the reviews not really paying attention, hoping that it would just work out for me , I was in desperate need of a car. I test drove cars that made noise and some didn't even turn on. I ended up picking one of the nicest cars they had on the lot. Dropped $2400 down and was supposed to finance the rest. The day after I had the car the Check Engine light came on. It was not on when I test drove it. I got a diagnostic done immediately and turns out the car has not one but 2 BAD Catillac Converters. 3 codes came up on the diagnostic. I was in shock and pissed. Of course I couldn't get my money back because the car was sold as is. Ok that's fine whatever. But a month goes by and I'm still paying my car note no problem. I woke up one day and my car is gone. I thought it was stolen. Turns out the guy has Repossessed my car. I didn't understand why because my car note was paid. He said he took it for lapse in insurance. Never called me and said a word as a courtesy to your customer. My insurance was unpaid for a couple weeks but paid when he took my car. He did not care. So when I asked how do I get my car back he asked me for $500. I asked to see the paperwork that says I have to pay $500 and he never showed it to me and that was that.
