Unfortunately, my vehicle purchase did not meet the level of service I was promised. Before taking delivery, I was assured that the scratch on the driver's door would be repaired. That never happened. I was also repeatedly told that a replacement grille had been ordered, only to later find out that it had not been ordered at all. Honest communication goes a long way, and I was disappointed by the lack of transparency throughout the process. To make matters worse, the vehicle was not properly detailed before I took delivery. When you're purchasing a vehicle, especially from a dealership, you expect it to be presented in excellent condition. Lastly, I only received one key with the vehicle. Every vehicle I've purchased in the past has come with two keys, and I was disappointed that this wasn't addressed. What bothered me most wasn't just the individual issues--it was the overall lack of follow-through and customer service after the sale. Customers deserve honest communication and for commitments to be honored. I hope this dealership takes customer concerns more seriously in the future and improves its attention to detail. So I took it back to IM, and was told by Eirc the owner's son, who told me bring it back here next year and we will have it inspected. I said I could not just drop it off because I have no ride home. 2 mins later Marrio call me back and said Eric did not promise me inspection (which he does for every sale. Despite buying a warranty specifically to protect myself from unexpected repairs, I was informed that this issue is not covered, and that Pennsylvania emissions law does not protect me either. This left me completely unprotected only weeks after purchasing the vehicle. The dealership then quoted me $4,000 for a catalytic converter replacement -- an extremely high estimate for a major failure that occurred so soon after purchase. I feel misled about the warranty coverage and disappointed with the lack of support. A customer should not be facing a $4,000 repair on a truck purchased less than two months earlier, especially after paying for additional protection. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Ray Price Stroudsburg.
