I originally had a not so great experience with one person in the parts department and honestly left pretty upset. But the manager called me himself, apologized for what happened and told me he would be speaking with the employees involved. He also offered to make it right, which I really appreciated. At the end of the day, one bad experience with one person doesn't mean the whole dealership is bad. I really appreciate the manager taking the time out of his day to actually listen to me and acknowledge what happened instead of just brushing it off. I purchased a used GMC truck from Ray Price Stroudsburg in April 2026 and paid extra for their bumper‑to‑bumper warranty. About a month and a half later, I received a solid check‑engine light. I brought the truck to their service department and was told the vehicle had a P0420 catalytic converter efficiency code. Despite buying a warranty specifically to protect myself from unexpected repairs, I was informed that this issue is not covered, and that Pennsylvania emissions law does not protect me either. This left me completely unprotected only weeks after purchasing the vehicle. The dealership then quoted me $4,000 for a catalytic converter replacement -- an extremely high estimate for a major failure that occurred so soon after purchase. I feel misled about the warranty coverage and disappointed with the lack of support. A customer should not be facing a $4,000 repair on a truck purchased less than two months earlier, especially after paying for additional protection. I was a customer who was in business with them for over 20 years.? I had a flat tire. I did not understand that Chris Warner wanted me to come in IMMEDIATELY after I got my spare tire put on. As a result, I left a negative comment on my Facebook Timeline that I was getting poor service. The girl Melissa who is the CHAT person was terrible. She was unresponsive to my questions. Also would leave the chat without me knowing. Really quite RUDE. Chris went ballistic and all he cared about was ratings, nothing else. Blocked on Facebook along with his wife. I have an Acura. I went into Honda in the hopes that they could help me with a sensor error - my tailgate wouldn't open and I had a piece of furniture in the trunk that I needed to get out! They were really busy and seemed short handed for a Saturday. Despite this, Chris D greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to help us out. He pulled the car around, consulted with a mechanic and got the trunk to open up! There was another guy there too whose name I didn't get but he was really friendly as well! I've been taking my car to the service department for months and have been loyal to them for all car maintenance. In November, I took my car in for the usual - oil change, multi-point, etc. They pulled out my car, and I noticed a scrape on my passenger door. Originally, we were told to go to Carstar. After months of back and forth, it was made apparent that the estimate was too high. Great. When they finally found a place that had a quote they liked (and zero public reviews), I called to request a car (since we will be without one for a week), to only be met with further problems, essentially delaying this fix. Who has been taking care of this? Chris W. and his ridiculous attitude that makes it seem like I deliberately had them scratch my car. Your team = your mistake. When it happened, he made it seem like all will be taken care of and here we are, having been more than patient throughout this entire process, with no real resolution in sight. I would NOT recommend going here simply for the fact that if anything happens to your car, they'll make it seem like it was your fault and do the bare minimum to get it fixed. For reference, I had this happen at a NYC parking garage with a rental car years ago. Brought it up with the manager, they reviewed the footage/accepted fault, and we got the rental car back within 5 days from the incident with a rental car paid for during this repair. I just wanted to come on here and say that the people I was dealing with were rude and unprofessional they treated me like I wasn't a serious buyer and sold the car I was trying to buy 10 mins prior to my appt and i have been in contact with them for 5 days prior for that car calling and texting non-stop for it. I even called the day before and twice the day of to make sure the car wasn't sold or about to be sold so i wouldn't make a long trip for no reason. Yet i wasted my time and money for no reason, Bad Business!!! I even tried contacting Andre aka the salesperson about putting a deposit for the car but he never helped me or responded to my text/calls and the Sales Manager Lady was very rude and unprofessional and wouldn't let me explain the situation properly and she would just talk over me and was accusing me of lying saying that the definitely told me that i had to do a credit application to put a deposit when I was never told that by anyone. read more

I had some reservations coming to a Ray Price Dealership since I had a bad experience years ago at one of the other locations. I met with Gary Peechatka. He was our sales consultant. He was very patient with me and my specific needs. I was interested in purchasing a 2025 CR-V. I wanted a certain color Blue and certain features. He had me drive cars that were all I wanted but the wrong color to make sure I likes the drive. Once I did, he helped me to place an order for the exact CR-V that I wanted. I left a deposit on a Thursday. By Monday, I was signing the paperwork for my new car! Gary helped me to decide between Hybrid and Gas powered so that my personal needs were met. He reached me where I had time which was via Texting most of the time. I work full time and rarely have the time to make such a huge change. He helped this process to be seamless and painless. I went to Ray Price Honda for an inspection for my certified Honda 2021 HRV AWD. I called more than two weeks ago which I believe was 11/8/24. I was told I could not have an appointment until 11/25/24 because they were that backed up. I indicated I wanted a tire rotation & oil change. I bought my car on 11/13/23. Because of a screw-up on the part of Ray Price they didn't calibrate something correctly on my car last May and my tire pressure light kept coming on after I left the dealership. So I was told the next time the rotation was on them. Yesterday, I explained everything, the service guy couldn't find any notation in the computer & acted like I was a bother. As for the oil change, I didn't get there within a year of buying my car so he said I was responsible for paying for it even though I was told I was eligible for two free oil changes. I explained I had made the appointment prior to the year expiring & I couldn't get in any sooner because there were no appointments available. He said I could've come in just for the oil change & I would have save $65. Both he & the service manager were very unfriendly and would not budge. He (the service manager) told me to go talk to the guy I bought the car from. I was there for nearly two hours & finally I asked the service worker "you didn't do the oil change did you?" He said they didn't calibrate something. I told him I never told the service manager to move forward with it. The bottom line is they treated me horribly when I bought the car there. They acted like I was lying to them. You don't promise something to people and then treat them like crap. word of mouth is the best or in this case the worst form of advertising. I'll preface this by saying I haven't purchased yet, and probably won't until we are closer to the end of my wife's lease on her current CR-V. A friend purchased there and really likes the place and even though it's a bit far I gave it a shot. I spoke with Barry, one of the managers. Instead of hitting me with all the "best deal" or "lowest price" lines, he explained the exact situation with inventories, the pricing because of it, and all sorts of information I didn't know. It was sort of scary how much of a straight shooter he was. When I mentioned that his reply was that "I don't have the time to be stupid." Funny as hell. There's a lot more, but that's fine for now. Service Department: First, I realize most all businesses are having labor issues, however my experience there was awful. It took a week to get an appointment for a oil change, tire rotation and inspection, again, I know why. When I brought my car in on the scheduled date and time, there were 4 customers ahead of me also waiting to check in because there were only two people working the counter. Once I got there, knowing I was going to wait for the service, I was told it would be 2-3 hours. Why give me a appointment when you can't do the work as scheduled. I decided to leave the car and get it the next morning, they said they'll call when it's ready. Next day I tried, no lie, 7 times to contact them, I needed the car, and never once did anyone pick up. Finally I just went there, 23 hours later figuring it would be done, wasn't even brought in yet! The "kid" I was dealing with said 'we'll call you whens it's done" totally unacceptable, he was rude and condescending, like I was wrong. Got the keys and left, waste of time, no apologies. BEWARE!!! CIVICS HAVE KNOWN DEFECTIVE AC SYSTEMS!!! Bought a '16 Civic CPO from Ray Price. Now AC blows warm air. Called Honda. They told me because I'm a few miles out of my CPO warranty they will not cover it. They told me I need to get a diag which will cost over $300 and then they "might" pay for something. They gave no assurance that they will pay for anything though. All Honda AC systems have r1234yf so only the dealer can service them. They are all defective on all newer Civics. I'm seeing compressor and or condenser repair/replace prices from $1100 to $2450. Noone said that Honda covered any of it. Its all over the forums/websites. I wish I knew this before I bought this vehicle. I am amazed that Honda doesn't care about this known issue. Consider yourself warned. read more

What disappointed us so much was how quickly we had to replace all 4 tires on a "Certified Used Honda". We do drive a lot in a year, but bought the car in July and by early February with about 12k miles started hearing some horrible sounds in the front end. Not thinking it would be tires (how could that be) I pulled over to a tire place to take a look. First told the front tires were totally wore out and put on in reverse (yes they can do that). Second they were cheap tires. By July going into another Honda dealer to get oil change, they told me I need to replace the other 2 tires right away, and contact the dealer who sold me the car. I contacted Ray Price Honda and they would not do a thing. Manager never even called to apologize. Never thought we would be out almost $1000.00 on tires and alignment on a car we just purchased that year. As I shared with Zach (again great guy) "We won't do business with a place that is fine with making thousands off a purchase but not willing to put a few extra hundred into better service or trying to fix the situation." Been driving Hondas since 1985 and our 5 kids have all driven Hondas too! We thought we had found a great place not too far away. We will look elsewhere next time. I took my Honda CRV to Ray Price Honda, apparently if you didn't purchase a vehicle there you get placed on a LOW PRIORITY LIST FOR A LOANER CAR. I purchased my Honda 2 hours south from here. The car started having shifting issues, I didn't want to drive 4 hours up and back to where I bought the car, so I took it to Ray Price. They confirmed the problems and ordered parts and stated it would take a week maybe two to complete the service. Which is fine BUT NO LOANER CAR? What kind of dealership is that? I've never heard of such a thing... Now I have no transportation until I get my Honda back. Next time I'll drive the 4 hours up and back to where I bought the car.. Saw some nice deals on their web site. Several cars were with in my friends budget. Drove 90 mins and arrived. Walked inside and no one was at the greeting desk. Strike 1. 120 long seconds (strike2),passed and finally a person asked if we were being helped. I explained our needs and was quickly informed that every used car has a folder with all the information about what's needed or wrong with the car. I said great. Let's look at some of the cars I saw advertised. I've learned by experience that in person view beats web pictures 99% of the time and this was proof. One car seemed like it was ok. Newer model, decent mileage, brand new inspection. Yes brand new inspection. (More about this later) Tires were mismatched. This raises questions. Remember the folder we talked about. It stated that a small exhaust leak was present, requiring minor work. Thinking to myself about the Brand new inspection. Wiper blades were needed, Hmm another brand new inspection sticker went through my head. Needs two tires. Ok let's take it for a test drive. It was a warm day so I started the car to cool it off. I popped the hood latch then proceeded to check all the accessories like window, seats, radio, fan,rear wiper, horn, front wipers, whoooops, no front wipers at any speed, nor washers, Alarms are going off in my head, remember Brand new inspection sticker. Check the dash light and YEP the dreaded CE light was telling me to walk away. I made sure the hood closed, I didn't even look under the hood. Gave the keys back and informed the salesperson we are walking away from this dealer and please update your car folders accordingly. I question their state inspection process based upon my findings. Made an appointment 1 week before for two cars with multiple recalls, The Honda Service Manager Chris told me to have a seat in the waiting room and someone would come get me. After waiting 20 minutes, I realized there were cars coming and going. I went to ask the man at the counter and he said I was to check in and give him the keys. Then to find out they do not have time to do both cars and I now have to return to do the other. When I tried to speak to someone the response I was given was "I don't know who scheduled these appointments as we don't do recalls after 5. And today we only have 1 tech." I do not recommend driving to the new location, because of the terrible mismanagement, scheduling conflicts and lack of problem solving skills. read more

The difference between a 5-star review, which is what they would have received, and a 1-star review, which they got, is a matter of honoring a commitment. Here's the whole story...the good part first. My wife wanted a 2020 Honda Pilot and Ray Price was tremendously responsive and we did the entire deal over the phone. That was amazing! We had test driven an exact Pilot locally (we live in Western NJ) and knew we loved it. Everything was done over the phone, loan approval, insurance transfer and their commitment to pay off our current vehicle (2018 Honda Odyssey). More on that in a minute. We arrived at the dealership right before closing and Brian was right there, ready to go with the paperwork, and we were out in the car getting the walk-through in 15 minutes. It was the best car buying experience of my life. Until it wasn't. Here's why they're getting a 1-star review. Part of our deal was to pay off our van. We told them that we were over the miles and that there were other fees due at turn in. We were assured that the van would be paid off and we would get a check from Ray Price Honda to pay off the leasing company. We didn't get the check for several weeks (which wasn't surprising or a big deal) but when it came, it didn't include the fees for the excess mileage or the disposition fee... and therefore, didn't pay off the van. The leasing company came after me hard for their fully payment, and they were right to... they were owed this money. So I emailed Brian several times trying to encourage them to honor their agreement, but I was eventually told no. So now I'm beat for a ton of money and can't believe that Ray Price Honda wouldn't honor their commitment to me. So incredibly disappointing. read more

Had a terrible experience here, was quoted a price from their internet sales manager and after driving an hour to deal with them the price went up by $40 a month, so when I call them on it and walk out their sales manager Brian makes rude comments under his breath. When confronted with this and bringing this up he continued to be rude, so we asked to see his boss and he said no that he was the highest person in the company. And then even said he was Ray Price. I am sure Ray Price would not appreciate his staff claiming to be him especially when they are this rude. The salesman we dealt with was friendly and tried to be helpful, but his boss ruined the entire buying experience! My experience was excellent. I sent some emails back and forth about a new Passport. I knew what I wanted to pay and knew what I wanted for my trade in. Brought them a check for the difference and was out of there in 50 minutes including the explanation of the new cars features. This place wants to sell cars. I went down there for an inspection my car failed for wiper blades. Told a few people at work and like me were in disbelief. I previously liked the service department before this and recently bought a new car from ray price Volvo and bought the Honda I traded in there. I drove the car to the dealership used the wipers to clear pollen off the car so I know they were good. Spoke to the service desk person stated they were torn on both sides, stated they could replace them for 48 dollars. Wow an higher! I also recently replaced the driver side wiper before hand. I guess the tech needed to upsell and throw the good wipers away. The desk guy told me if I didn't have new wipers I would get no inspection sticker. Wow again. They hold those stickers over your head to make profit in Pa. Spoke to a guy 1 step below the manager and he looked at them stated they were torn , I asked if maybe the tech did it he giggled/laughed and said we don't do that. And he and the guy at the desk just left me hang trying to figure what to do next. The guy at the desk stated the inspection guy was done at 5pm and if I left work early and made it there by 5:30pm it would be close. Later called the service manager Chris and after leaving a message as he was dealing with a customer the talk to the girl who answered the phone 25 minutes later said still with a customer and can I go to voicemail stated already left one one no return call then I commented this must be the ray price experience, then Chris answered the phone and stated the do not rip wipers with determination in his voice. Then stated they were open until 7pm somebody needs to tell the guy at the desk and technician that! Then decided to get 2 replacement wipers costing 16 dollars total so I could get the sticker I gave the guy at the desk the wipers they put them on not in front of me and did show me the previous "good" wipers thrown out. Then on a little better part of the situation was told since I bought cars there the inspection part was free I didn't buy this car there so expected to pay for it.
