You stated that you only do installs, and that there was no need for you to come back. You did come back because there was one issue within a few months after install that you repaired the condensation line leaking and redid the plumbing. I called back for a separate issue; which it ended up being a capacitor that was faulty- all within the 10 year manufacturer warranty period of the system. You stated that you didn't need to come out and service after the sale, even though you gave me a piece of paper that said you did. Which is my point. Goodman stated that I should call the installer and have the capacitor replaced by Goodman tech. The Goodman warranty would have covered the part and I believe your labor charge. If not, I would've paid for your labor. Unfortunately, I paid hundreds of dollars out of pocket, because Goodman told me only the OG installer can warrant it. There's always two sides to a story, and that's mine. I lowered my review to a 1, since you felt you needed to respond to my 6 year old review. So you just block customers, because you don't want to respond to them by phone or text? My reviews speak for themselves as an Elite Yelper. I don't recollect you saying anything about your father's passing. It's awfully petty to call out customers in a separate review. A 5 star review of yourself alone should be against community standards. I have to say, that's the first I've seen. Again, buyer beware. My sincere condolences on your fathers passing, and wishing you all the best in the future. Obviously you were going through a rough time, and perhaps confused me with another customer.

SCAMMER!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Hired these guys to check my A/C after one of the nests gave a…read moreno power error. This commonly happens if the kill switch for leaks is tripped. I expressly mentioned to check this. The guy demanded an outrageous $250 trip fee to go, but I was fine with that so long as he did a good job. He then called me claiming that nearly everything in the unit suddenly was broken. Said my coil was "completely messed up" and that he had already completed a $650 repair of changing the capacitors and hard start but that it woudn't fix the issue and wouldn't cause it to cool. When I asked why he had already completed a repair without me signing off on the quote nd why I would do the repair if it wouldn't fix the issue, he suddenly changed his story and admitted he had not done it yet and that he couldn't do the repair that day. I then demanded a quote for the repairs and told him I wouldn't pay until I got it. I also asked for proof of the issue, as it was weird that the coil, TVC, capacitors, and hard stat to all break at the same time. He said he would send me photos. He didn't. He sent 1 video of the unit not starting and no photos of anything else. When I finally got the quote, he said it would be 1200 to get all of these items fixed, but claimed he could not repair it for a few days. I then contacted another company and had them check it. They reported the system was functioning fine. No issues. The kill switch smply needed to be reset / the water draned so it would reset.

this review is for past service, not recent service…read more I thought they did a good and bad job. They discovered why my unit wasn't working with EM heat, it is because the previous company did not connect the wiring. AIM A/C connected it. That's the good. The bad is, during the AC Heat service, the technician did not flush out the drain pipe. During the year, the water in the drain backed up and the safety switch stopped the AC from working. I had to find a HVAC company and pay for a service call, in which this problem should not have happened if AIM A/C flushed out my drain pipe during their service call. Add to this, it happened on a Sunday, and when I called, I learned they do not work on weekends or past there normal business hours. They went from my go to HVAC company to off my list HVAC company.

BEWARE - this is worth the read…read more We had an unusual issue with our AC unit and Southern Temp Control was our first call "out." He talked about wiring, the thermostat brand (he doesn't like it) and finally decided after more than an hour that the electrical contact (outside) at the unit was corroded (it's only a few years old) and implored us to replace it. $400+ But since he clearly wasn't "certain", he also cut the line on our whole house fan, saying it "could" be the culprit and it wasn't really good for the unit to run it. Seemed sketchy but he was the expert and honestly, he's a bit scary. He promised that if this fix did not work he'd be right out to honor his commitment to us. 2 days later the issue was back, and he had his receptionist (daughter) return my call (I had supplied a code "low pressure lockout") to tell us there was a workaround-----hard reset of the compressor. I told her this was not good for the unit and while I didn't like that Rob Wolf could not come until the next afternoon, I accepted the appointment. 30 minutes later, she called back accusing me of hanging up on her (I certainly did not, I agreed to the time and said good bye.) Once again she insisted I use the workaround. She argued with me, and I finally told her I was not going to spend any more time arguing with her. I asked that Rob call me if he had more to say. The next morning I got an email from the receptionist letting us know because of my "abuse" Rob would not be coming on that day or ever. I insisted that having spent $400 already, he owed us a cure. He responded and told me he knew his daughter and I was clearly out of line because she said so. So, he's a hot head? Or maybe he knew he couldn't figure out the issue with our unit so he disavowed his promist to us? All I know is, we called Wood's Comfort System, and they were out the next morning. With a one shot solution. Oh, and they reconnected the wire Rob Wolf said he disconnected. It was actually severed; yep, he literally took snippers and just cut part of our unit's functionality right off. One issue with a one man show is if the boss is not righteous, you have nowhere to turn.

These guys are great, words alone can't not explain how good…read more these guys are. They came out for a full service call. My Carrier 3.5 ton system was cooling , but was making strange noise . They identified issues with my HVAC system that other companies did not identify. A few examples , my return air duct is under size, this is not allowing the proper air flow. The system runs and cools but it causing it to run longer and use more power. the drain in the attic did not have any slope, so water was not draining. They replaced the start capacitor with a USA made Quality , capacitor.
