Used the kiosk to place my order, tapped to pay, then waited on the bench for the text saying which locker held my order. Walked back to work and ate the King Slay Subs chicken bacon ranch with waffle fries. Sub was okay size. Chicken seemed leftover and wish bacon was cooked crisper. Fries are not like Chick fil A. Fried differently I guess and they cooked with a seasoning that might have been paprika. I'll try it again but something else from one of the other vendors. Overall it was okay. read more

The Decatur Food Hub is a a great edition to the Decatur/Avondale Estates area. It is owned by CloudKitchens, a company that specializes in take out and food delivery. Within this facility they have several "kitchens" in one building specifically designed to handle delivery. There are several stalls with kitchens that are occupied by a different restaurant, frequently open late, and serving take-out and delivery food only. You can either order online, at the kiosk in the lobby of the food hub, and through a variety of food delivery apps. When you pick up you can either scan your information to look for your order, or type in your name manually. When you order is ready, they will text you with what locker to go to; put your mobile phone up to the locker and it opens the door. They do have a restroom on-site. We order from the Thai restaurant frequently. The food is good and the system works well. They do get busy sometimes and miss there "ready " times but it is a welcome addition to the area. I have yet to try any of the other restaurants . We seem to be stuck on Thai. read more

When you walk in it is very clean. The process to order is to the left by the rest room, which is public to those visiting. The order process is very easy as well. You can order ahead, which makes your process very simple, but the wait time, depending on what you order, is about 15 to 25 mins on a none busy timeframe. When you arrive you can scan your order receipt from your phone easily & it'll give you an update on when your order is ready per the receipt they texted your phone. There was a lady sitting in the front when I ordered, so I did not get a chance to use the lockers. She provided me with the order as I walked up after she called my name. FYI: Please Order Ahead. I recently visited Decatur Food Hub, a place I pass by daily but only recently discovered it was open for business. It was a perfect Sunday to explore the various restaurant options they offer, and I found their website, Decaturfoodhub.com, to be quite helpful. It lists all the restaurants, menus, and their open/closed status for the day. I decided to order from two places: Wings Frenzy and So Icey Water Ice. Ordering can be done either on their in-house tablets or through your phone. However, I recommend ordering ahead to avoid long wait times. I waited about 20-30 minutes, and there's no one to notify you when your order is ready. You need to check the site for updates, and once it's done, you receive a locker number notification to pick up your food, ensuring you get exactly what you ordered. From Wings Frenzy I ordered the 10pc wings (no fries) with a Buldak inferno/ Hot sauce and ranch ($15.80) and from So Icey Water Ice I ordered their Crab Fries & Chicken Cheesesteak Combo ($23.99). Now part of me had a small issue with the prices but when I finally had everything I stopped worrying. Now, let's talk about the food. Everything I tried was fantastic. There were no complaints whatsoever. The dishes were served warm to hot, flavorful, and the portion sizes were generous. While the Buldak inferno/Hot sauce from Wings Frenzy didn't seem very spicy to me, the sauce was still amazing with a sweet tangy taste. The fries were crunchy and seasoned perfectly, and the crab meat on top was a delightful addition. The chicken cheesesteak from So Icey Water Ice was delicious, with diced chicken, perfectly melted provolone cheese, and perfectly cooked veggies. I could have used a bit more mayonnaise, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you plan your visit accordingly and want to sample different restaurants in one place, Decatur Food Hub is the ideal spot. Just ensure you place orders from different places on separate transactions if you plan to do so. I'll definitely return to explore other restaurants, especially since they offer vegan and healthy options as well. It's a foodie's paradise worth checking out! read more

Very difficult parking. The wait is very unreasonable. We ordered around 7pm on a Sunday night which is slightly late for us. The estimate was 7:28-7:38 and we got our 8:13. My cheese steak was large and mostly tasty with crinkle cut fries. The angus burger from Sister 2 Sister was small, dry, and cardboardy. The shrimp fried rice was a large portion, but weird tasting. I particularly suggest staying away from the fake chicken. I personally eat a lot vegan food so the concept isn't foreign to me Overall I would warn everyone away. I know there are limited options in the area but do go somewhere else. read more

I ordered food from a restaurant here Tandori temptations. When I arrived to pick it up, there was absolutely zero parking. There's only about 10 parking spots total that are taken up by the employees and restaurant workers there. . there's four possible spots in the front with customers are coming and going and it's extremely difficult to turn around. It was my first time using a food, so I went to the window to ask the young lady for assistance. She was not very helpful. She just pointed to the machine and says use the back down.. so I called the restaurant and let them know that I was in the lobby trying to retrieve my food and it was my first time the guy was very friendly. He came out and brought me my food.. location, only three stars for parking accessibility and for poor customer service. Inside the lobby waiting area it was very clean open and air. Village kitchen first time I ate there I had to vegan Philly sub $19. I was impressed it was wet juicy full of flavor. Really thought I had a Philly got one tonight. It was dry looked like pressed hamburger and it did not taste not even a third as good as the first time I had it don't know who was in the kitchen, but I will not be visiting there shop anymore. Should've taken pictures to show how dry it was probably would've choked on it if I didn't have my water. Had to take it home and doctored it up myself. And an addition to that it was 25 minutes late from what the order pick up time was. read more

Dog House Got the grill cheese burger and classic..Both were terrible. They put this seeming sweet & sour type sauce on it but it should not be on a burger or anything else bc it's awful. Okay, so 3 days ago I tried this burger called OG JERK with their fries on the side from "Smash Me" and I was very impressed with the presentation of the food despite of wait time. On scale from 1-10 for the OG JERK Burger I'm giving it a 8.8/10 and for the fries is a 9/10. I personally like how the buns were toasted & how the the burger lives up to its name. The fries came out fresh how I like them. Despite of wait time it was worth it. I would highly recommend this place! read more

I waited for my food for over a hour only to finally find out that EW&F was not even open!!! I'll called whatever number I could find for this establishment and left messages. I voiced my displeasures with the team working the counter as well. I asked for a manager, an owner, some sort of representative only to be told there isn't one. As of September 24th I've yet to get refund NOR A SINGLE CALL back. This business model is completely FLAWED. Think twice before ordering. You may not get food, service, nor a refund.
