My personal favorite is the powder because of how long they last, and my nails almost never break when I have it on. However all three were done well and lasted as long as you'd expect them to. My personal favorite part of the trip is my pedicure. They have a basic pedicure, but I always end up going for one of the spa options. They have a ton of different options to fit your personal preference, but I usually go for the aromatherapy pedicure. It includes a 10 minute leg and foot massage. I tried gel polish for my pedicure for the first time today, and I can say I'm a fan. I'm hoping it'll last even longer than my usual pedicure polish. I get home and wait for the redness to go away and then I saw that a whole line up my thigh was NOT done...from knee to hip. The next day (today) I see that there are more lines/patches that still have hair, so now I need to Nair what was missed. The whole purpose of getting waxed was so I didn't have to worry about my legs for my cruise this week. They may be excellent with nails, I will give them a shot at my pedicure tomorrow, but they need to improve their waxing skills before I go back for that service. ADDITIONAL REVIEW: I was contacted by the salon after posting the original review and they did the right thing! They offered to redo my waxing as the original technician was on a trial basis, she was not hired. They also gave me a discount on my pedi, which came out awesome. They didn't tell me it was expired while I was there, let me use half of it, then crossed out the expiration date and made it a date in expire 10/30/25. I was unaware they back-dated it because I was in a hurry to put it in my pocket since I was in rush. Fast forward to today, I went to use it and obviously it wasn't honored because of that new date. I understand that it expired and of course I'm fine not using it since it's completely my fault. It was just the most bizarre experience because 1. No one mentioned it was expired the first time I was there (which I would have been fine paying for my pedicure if someone explained that to me instead writing in a new date so couldn't use it again) Also I'm just not sure why they would give me back a gift certificate that I can't use anymore or never mention that it was expired. 2. What kind of place has a 1 week or 1 month expiration date? (Thinking about it I'm wondering if it the date a typo since it was handwritten because most places around here have a 1 year expiration date when I buy them or am gifted them.)
