NINE menu items list avocado as an item that comes in the selection. Unfortunately the staff informs me that they do no carry avocado. Not that they are out of it, that do not carry it. I ordered the bacon, chorizo, egg, burrito that is supposed to comes with black beans, crema, queso fresco, greens and AVOCADO. So if you charge $9 for a burrito and it doesn't contain a menu items that the consumer would typically be charged $2 extra. You should lower the prices of all menu items that mislead the buyer to believe that they are going to receive they item. read more

About as shitty as Chipotle. Burrito was soggy and barely edible. The lady making the burrito just slops all the ingredients on there with no care whatsoever. Like she's literally looking at something else while making my burrito. When you just throw the ingredients on like that, you get all the juice from the pineapple and the meat in it which you don't want. And then on top of that, for God's sake GRILL the burrito! After you wrap it, put the seam side down on the flat top griddle for 45 seconds then flip it and do that again. Would have made a huge difference. I get it. It takes another 90 seconds. But maybe they'd avoid the two star rating they have across the board. They do it for the quesadillas so why not the burritos? ANY decent burrito place does this! Uhm... no, what we ordered was priced high but not out of the norm for an airport restaurant. What was terrible was the fact the guacamole was... not worth the... thought it took to say the word- who puts cucumbers in guacamole? Terrible food. Terrible service. The food wasn't good, but it's airport food, so I don't expect perfection. Still, I expect it to be decent. The real problem was the employees. They are so rude and oblivious to customers standing right in front of them. They didn't know the menu at all. They put the tiniest amount of cheese on burrito and a ton of lettuce. A very disappointing lunch. While I wasn't expecting much from airport food, it still intrigues me how bland and uninteresting food can be. We got the DeCero bowl wasn't worth the cost of the plastic bowl it was served in. It was a mush of over cooked mushrooms and tasteless rice and beans. We also ordered a cowboy and a barbacoa burrito. They were only okay and not well seasoned. The salsa that accompanied the order was terrible. My hopes/expectations for a Mexican joint at an airport in the Midwest were already low going in, but this place exceeded them...in a bad way. For my cochinita pibil tacos, the "meat" for one of them was a basically a blob of fat with a little bit of pork on it. Their guacamole is a joke too...it's a greenish soup with some tomatoes in it. They serve their salsa on the side, don't give you napkins, and they have carrots in their lettuce - you know, like those cheap bags of salad mix at the grocery store. The meat is dry and you could visually tell it had been sitting out, so I chose the "freshest" looking option: the chipotle chicken. It was largely unseasoned. I ordered the steak quesadilla. The menu states that it is made with corn tortillas. However, they make it with flour tortillas instead. If you have any allergies, please tell them first to make it with corn tortillas. The steak was very chewy. I would go with the chicken instead. The guacamole is okay. It just needs a little more flavor. The chips and salsa are good. It is a little pricey. My quesadilla was $11.99. I think that is priced just a tad to high for an airport. Decided to eat at Decolores while waiting on my flight. The chooses looked delicious but once it was my turn to order I was not impressed. The first women who makes the tortillas was throwing the shells on the grill like she was angry. She was huffing and puffing like I was a total bother. When it was time to put the chicken in the taco she slopped it in like an elementary school lunch lady. Next lady did the filling of the tacos but since she was too busy talking about child support & personal drama she started adding items I didn't even ask for. Once it was time to check out and pay the women kept yelling what did she order until finally someone answered. I gave this 3 stars because the food was very good but service was horrible. This was my 3rd attempt to find a decent breakfast in all the new Midway options. I ordered the egg burrito with bacon and chorizo. I was hoping it would be travel friendly. Word of caution - the chorizo is VERY greasy. It was a mess by the time I got on the plane to eat it. Also, what they refer to as 'avocado' is guacamole. And it's mediocre at best. I was really hoping for some slices of avocado. I haven't found a decent option around there yet so I might give them another shot and go with the steak and egg burrito. I got the Cowboy Burrito (chicken, bacon, rice, black beans, white crumbly cheese, guacamole, I didn't get the crema, spring greens or cilantro). It comes with about 7 chips and salsa. The tortilla was really good, soft, slightly chewy. Salsa is excellent, somewhat smoky and quite flavorful. Chicken was fine as was the guacamole. Overall, pretty good for quick airport food. Line may look long but it moves fast and your food is done by the time you get to the register. No waiting for your number to be called. I'd come here again if I have a layover in Midway Airport. read more

I mean my burrito was okay- albeit not the burrito I ordered. However the lack of organization and general incompetence I witnessed from the staff was completely unprofessional. Despite a surplus of employees behind the counter, no one even approached me to take my order. I had to flag someone down, and was given a look as though I was inconveniencing them. I ordered one of the menu burritos, but the staff member completely forgot to put all of the designated ingredients in prior to popping it on the grill (if I order a pork and pineapple burrito, I clearly want pineapple to be in it). In the sake of time I didn't ask them to make a new one, but this didn't even matter as they appeared to hand me the completely wrong bag upon leaving. Maybe they should get in the habit of marking the bags/ foil wrappings so this doesn't happen?
