Some had expired sell by dates. Buys: Taoist oil (12) -rubbing oil for bruises & swelling . Didn't smell like the usual brand i get that comes from Hong Kong. Hong You Ban Mian (3/2.99) dried instant noodle "red oil tossed noodles" -no English label. Chinese instructions similar to other noodles. -dried noodles were wide & long. Boiling time 5-8 min. Rinse with cold water..drain...add sauces, oils..eat..messy. Worthy! Legit mala taste. Not for mala intolerant foodies. -add on sauces tastes like mala chili oil, stale chili oil. Small Safeway - has most everything…read more Smaller Safeway I've never been to before. I'd always go downtown if in the area. Crazy coupons and anything that is a deal will be off the shelf. Stella 12 pack skinny can for $13.99 must buy two... only one on shelf. Whole Foods and Trader Joe's my preference as I don't want to play games while shopping. Walmart or Costcos every day low price I find more appealing.

They had Lillies and roses and maybe a few others flowers. Strawberries were buy one get one free. And they had some in stock , but one was molding. They were out of angel food cake. They had crepes right next to the strawberries. We went to the bakery section and found some butter pound cake. We next went to the dairy case and got some regular whipped cream. They also had whipped coffee topper which we passed on. The check out lines were long with everyone buying a mixture of flowers. We ended up using self check. We were 5th in line, but the line went really quickly. The gentleman at self check offered to check us out, but we had bananas and he didn't have a scale so we had to get back in line. They have a private parking lot and there was 1 homeless woman asking for money in the lot.

Third, the workers at the meat counter were all very nice and helpful. Ordered fish to be fried and while it was being prepared, walked through the aisles. We got some produce and all of it looked good, not wilted or sad, so I was very impressed. We took the fish home and it was so much better than we've had at other places.
