Originally my daughter and I were planning to grab food near the Climate Pledge Arena at a sit-down venue before the Laufey concert, but what we forgot to account for was that there was a Mariners playoff game happening at the same time. Pretty much all the sportsbars and restaurants nearby were packed, so we decided to just walk to the Arena and eat inside. Then I noticed this little hotdog stand. The lady running the store was extremely nice, especially to my daughter (which always wins extra points from me!). I of course ordered the Seattle dog. They had various condiments and toppings available on the side including ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, pickles and pickled carrots. It was just the perfect amount of food with lots of flavors. After we were done eating, we came by the stand to grab some napkins and the lady asked us how the food was. I thought it was a nice gesture. She really didn't have to say anything and she had quite a few customers in line. She was able to multitask and provide excellent service to every customer. This is a hotdog stand. There are no tables. Condiments and napkins are all self-service. Each hot dog was $12 (this already includes sales tax and tipping is optional). I highly recommend if you are here for concerts or kraken games and want some good food that won't cost you an arm and a leg inside the arena. read more

Sadly, this just missed the mark a bit. For one, the dog is smaller than some I have had near the arenas. 2) The bun was cold. This is what rly could have been a game changer is just warming/grilling the bun like another stand has done. 3) some of the onions were burnt (like covered in black) or maybe picked up burnt debris from a grill that needed clean. ok i haven't written a review in a long time but i had to get the word out about these dogz. we spotted the cart on our way in to the Emerald City Comic Con and decided we'd grab one after. when we approached, there were about 6-7 people in line ahead of us. the woman working was really hustling, it only took us about 15 minutes to get to the front of the line. being new to WA, i had to give a Seattle dog a try, while my boyfriend went the more traditional route. we both got the spicy dogz with grilled onions, cream cheese on mine, and added some mustard and pickled jalapeños. seriously, it may have been the best hot dog i've ever had. the bun was the right amount of chewiness, although it did fall apart closer to the end of the meal. and the dog, oh the dog! a delicious blend of spices gave it subtle heat that was balanced perfectly by the cream cheese. she split the dogz so there was a considerable amount of sear that i was not mad about. i've thought about this hot dog everyday since i ate it. in conclusion: i plan on finding this cart again and revisiting tastebud heaven sooner rather than later. read more
