first time trying the seattle dogs! it was definitely unique in taste to me since i don't normally eat hotdogs with cream cheese in them. it made the texture a lot more creamy while eating it. the buns had that toasted crispy taste and texture but also still soft. it was good in size and you could add your own condiments on the side of the stall. i wouldn't say the hot dog was mind blowing but it was decent. i didn't see anything special with the flavor but it was nice to try it out. the service is also pretty efficient. he cooked it right then and there right after ordering so it came out pretty fast. there's a few tables surrounding the place and it's a very chill spot to grab a hot dog. read more

It's a dog in the park, what more is there to say! Came here on a Thursday around lunchtime on a whim as I've been in Seattle for two years and never had a Seattle dog before. I asked if they could replace the standard dog with a turkey dog and was told no problem, but they ended up only having chicken available which was fine with me. So it took them a bit longer than a standard dog to make which I had no issues with. They also have many fixings options which in the future I would add to my dog. The griddled veggies were supposed to be cabbage, onion, and peppers. Maybe we just got the luck of the draw, but there was only one small piece of pepper in the the mix and there was very little onion. Overall, we all actually liked the dog. It sounds odd, but the flavors work together in an interesting way. I wish our dog had more veggies with more caramelization (our veggies were pretty much steamed) and that there had been more pepper and onion in the mix. We pretty much had a steamed cabbage and cream cheese dog. Still not the worst dog I ever date. Would I make it at home? Yup. Just wanted a quick snack before dinner so we split a Veggie Chipotle Dog ($8) between friends. It's basically a Seattle Dog with a veggie dog instead of the regular hot dog, so we still basically got to experience the Seattle dog. There was basically one guy taking orders and another guy making them so by the time we finished paying they were already handing our dog over to us. The dog itself was pretty good! Personally I'm not a big fan of cream cheese, but it did add a sort of sweetness to it, which balances out the spiciness in the veggie chipotle dog. They had a very wide assortment of condiments on the side of the stand that you could add yourself. I added my usual topping preferences (ketchup, mustard, relish, onions) and it definitely added more flavor to it. What was a bit off putting though is that some of the condiments that probably should be refrigerated (like the mayonnaise) were sitting out in the hot summer sun all day. I think it's a bit steep for $8 a dog for basically 2 toppings since the roasted veggies are all in one pan. Other than that though I'm glad I got to try a Seattle dog for my visit to Seattle. Located near the Space Needle around the Seattle Center. I walk around a few times and I know it's a tourist trap but I'm okay with it. It can get busy but the service is fast. What a pleasant surprise of a place!! We were passing by and wanted a snack/late lunch. The menu isn't long but it had everything you needed. You go up to the one man stand and place your order. He remembered everyone's order easily. He was quick to make your meal with your specifications. The Seattle dog is the best one I've had in the city so far. The perfect amount of cream cheese with delicious grilled veggies (cabbage, bell pepper, and onion). The hot dog itself was perfectly salty and beefy. The Mediterranean dog was refreshing with the brighter, cold ingredients. We got the two hot dogs cut in half so we could share them easier. I guess this is more like a 3.5. Honestly it was just ok. I got a Seattle Dog, which I've never had before (I attempted to make it at home but I have no idea if it tasted authentic).
