They offered pennies on the dollar for a handful of safe queens, when I asked why their offer was so low the guy shrugged and said "you can only sell these to gun stores now so there's no private market any more, take it or leave it" I left it, I can't justify selling a rifle/scope that I paid $5K for with only 20 rounds down range for $300 because that's just how it is now. The whole experience was so negative that I didn't bother shopping around, I'd rather take my business ANYWHERE else.

Took two trips in so far with a third incoming when the ATF is done. First trip did some finger printing and questions on the silencer shop kiosk in the store talked to guys at the counter and they informed me about additional stuff to do on ATF website. So went and did that and returned. Pretty average but helpful visit for being new to suppressors. 2nd trip in i spoke with a dude behind the counter explained I wanted a suppressor, but my knowledge is lacking. Told him what firearms I'm using and that I got the paperwork that was mentioned in first visit completed. So he showed me a couple options and grabbed 2 other guys and the lady at the desk processing the paperwork for their input for a first time purchaser and showed me a couple more options and ultimately ended up the the dead air sandman X. While I haven't received it yet (waiting on the ATF to process the paperwork), the staffs thoroughness, willing to answer my dumb questions for 35-40 minutes was a huge help and I felt i had to share my experience. They didn't disappoint and I have a feeling this will be my go to shop in the future. So Thank you for the help and I am looking forward to the ease on my ears when I'm out at target practice.

At…read moreBass Pro, you are literally just a number, there purely to be exploited in every imaginable way. I've had better customer service (and less waiting) at any given DMV. At MKR, however, it's like talking to a friend--or at least to people that treat you (even when you're ignorant and don't know everything about guns) with respect. If they carried the firearm I wanted, I would've bought it from them, not the bassholes at Bass Pro. But I wanted a budget firearm, and MKR carries only the best. When I went in yesterday, I needed help figuring out how to use a magazine loader. I literally just walked through their door with a box of my stuff, asking for help. Matthew not only demonstrated how to use the device using dummy rounds, he gave me invaluable advice about safety, gun cleaning tips, classes. Since I was not making a purchase that day, I wanted to tip him. Peoples' time, care and good advice are valuable and deserve recognition, particularly when folks go above and beyond. My tip was politely declined. Unlike Bass, where customers are nothing more than walking money bags, MKR treats people...well, like people. I believe that ignorance is not a crime, especially when you admit to it and actively seek to increase your knowledge base. That can't always be done on your own. Youtube videos and books, while helpful, cannot give you all that you need to know about guns. Yet, in some gun stores, the so-called gun experts can be extremely condescending towards anyone who doesn't know as much as they do. ...Or anyone they THINK doesn't know as much as they do. That's why I so appreciate the attitude of Matthew and everyone else at MKR Tactical. They aren't there to lord their knowledge over you, but to share it with you. It's the first place I felt safe enough to ask questions because I realized pretty quickly that they wouldn't humiliate me or treat me like an annoyance. That means EVERYTHING. Honestly, it's not that hard to treat people with basic respect, but it is hard to find places that do. Increasingly, I'm finding that you really need to go to a smaller mom n' pop, locally and independently owned business like MKR Tactical, if you want to be treated like a human being, and avoid corporate monstrosities like Big Five, Cabellas, Dick's or Bass Pro--all of whom seem to have their tentacles wrapped around every urban area. The great news is that there are still good alternatives. I'm grateful for MKR Tactical and I hope they thrive for many more years to come.

As someone who works in sales, I know how important first impressions and customer engagement are. When I walked in, I was greeted with a quick "Welcome in" by a woman on the sales floor, but that was the extent of the interaction. I spent nearly 10 minutes looking at bikes, clearly interested and taking my time to check out the inventory. During that entire time, no one approached me, asked if I had any questions, or offered any assistance. I finally had to speak up myself before I was asked if I needed help. I came in ready to spend thousands of dollars, yet I felt invisible. I don't know why I was overlooked, and I can't say for certain whether my race played a role. However, as a person of color, it's difficult not to question whether I would have been treated differently if I looked like someone else. I'm not asking for special treatment--just the same level of customer service every customer deserves. A dealership should make every potential buyer feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated, regardless of who they are. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that every customer receives the attention and respect they deserve. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I can't recommend Tacoma Motorsports.

I am very disappointed in the mechanics and customer service. I took my Karcher pressure washer to…read morethem because we were having an issue with the "pressure." I should have been wary initially when they called my husband on 6/19/17 to say they were unable to start it. He showed up, asked to give it a try and after pulling the choke, it started up on the first pull. As a mechanic, how to do forget to pull the choke? Okay, be that as it may, we figured they still knew more than we did on how to fix the pressure issue so left it there to be repaired. We get a call a little while later saying it's fixed, $71.94 later and for 45 minutes of their time, I was told when I picked it up that the fitting was on backwards, but otherwise it was "a good little machine" by the mechanic. We took it home to test it. First pull of the trigger, pressure was fine and it remained fine so long as you didn't take your hand off of the trigger, but if you took your hand off the trigger, no pressure. I was annoyed that I was charged for 45 minutes of time to turn a fitting around that likely took 5 minutes or less and the exact same problem we took it in for remained. I waited a week and a half to decide what I was going to do about it, then called when I took a second look at their invoice which stated "30 DAY WARRANTY PARTS AND LABOR WORK DONE." I assumed that this would be easy, make a call, and they would say, "Bring it back, we'll take a look." But, no... I was told by the mechanic that took my call that it worked fine when they had it. I asked them how they tested it and was told that they they used their own gun and ran it for a couple of minutes without issue. The mechanic then proceeded to tell me it was probably MY gun or MY water pressure because it worked fine for him. I told him, same problem at two different homes with two different water systems. He then proceeded to blame it on my gun. I'm fuming by now, because if you had my pressure washer for less than 10 minutes for a pressure issue, but never tested MY gun and instead used your own AND charged me for 45 minutes, WHY DID YOU NOT TEST MY GUN? The mechanic then advised that 45 minutes was their minimum billing. I wasn't getting anywhere with the mechanic so ended the call and went on my own quest to find the source of my pressure washer pressure problem and found it here: https://youtu.be/WfUcXlBZRxk. My pressure washer is now fixed BY ME and cost me about 10 cents or less in white lithium grease and about 15 minutes of my time, including fully testing it. If I left it up to the mechanic's advice it'd be out another $30 for a new gun. Small Engine Clinic, you need mechanics that know what they're doing and will also take responsibility for failing to properly make the requested repair, which I paid for. Now the real test is what will you do to make this right?

I believe they are an authorized Toro shop, and in every instance when I have dealt with them, they do a great job - very thorough. They also provide me with details of what they have done, explain how I can help myself keep things running well, and the turnaround time is very reasonable. I will say that sometimes the price for service seems a bit steep, but it has been many years since I have checked what other shops charge, so maybe they are competitive in that regard. I'm too happy with the quality of service to worry very much about that!

Steve J. asked my price range and what I wanted to accomplish with my clubs upfront, and we quickly had a few initial testers based on that. I hit a 10 shot group with my current gamers and compared from there. It pays to have your swing figured out before coming in to get fitted-- the club is only as consistent as you are. Steve was upfront about his preference for Wilson but gave me a solid selection of clubs outside of theirs, and was not pushy at any point in the process. Was helpful and suggested several things I should consider in regard to lie angle, shaft, ect without trying to upsell. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process, got a fair price for my old clubs given their age, and left very happy with everything. There may be more "premium" vendors in the area, but I will 100% be using these guys for anything golf related in the future.

I asked if there was any chance they could install it that same day since I was hoping to ride with my wife the next day. Even though they were just minutes from closing and had other bikes to finish, the tech went above and beyond--he stayed a few minutes late to swap out the derailleur for me since it was a quick job.
