I enjoyed my filet mignon and the nice, intimate ambiance. I added butter to it and it added a bit more flavor. It was also very tender and a tad charred which was good. The lighting was perfectly dimmed, making it a quiet and relaxing dinner. We arrived right at opening time on a Saturday, and only a few tables were occupied, which added to the calm atmosphere. The staff checked on us frequently, and overall the service was attentive. I would definitely come back. The restaurant itself is very large, and there's ample parking, which is a plus. The butter cake comes highly recommended. It was good, though a bit much for me personally--definitely large enough to share between 2-3 people.

This is the meaning of Las Vegas fine dining. This was my first time here and I was with a group of 9. We made a reservation in advance, as we were celebrating a birthday. Once we arrived and checked, we were seated immediately. Upon entering, you're greeting with live lounge music. There was a person playing the piano and singing a collection of cover songs. The staff was very professional, and checked up on our table quite frequently. We ended up ordering the Seared Chilean Sea Bass, Prime Ribeye, Grilled Asparagus, and Mashed Potatoes. The ribeye was cooked medium rare. It was tender and a pink center throughout. I had a pleasant time with my group as we enjoyed the delicious food and wonderful live entertainment.

We celebrated New Year's Eve and arrived at 5 PM. I enjoy that they have valet parking right out front. Del Frisco's is one of those places that I wonder why I don't go to more often. Located right off the strip this is a high-quality five star restaurant. It has an amazing ambience of an old school steakhouse, and the service is absolutely fabulous. If you'd like to give yourself a treat, make yourself a recommendation. Please look at the pictures for the ratings on the food. It is worth the money because it is truly a lovely experience would highly recommend.

Been wanting to try out Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse since moving to Vegas and it definitely did not disappoint. The ambiance in the restaurant is a classy steakhouse vibe. My friend and I went on Labor Day so it was pretty empty in there, but that made the service from our bartender all more attentive and personal which was very nice. The crab cake was delicious! No fillers what so ever, just lots of crab meat. Pair that with the bread service and wow, it was like eating a crab roll. Delicious! My friend and I also shared a Prime Ribeye and wow, cooked and seasoned perfectly! The asparagus and side of Potatoes au gratin were also incredible. The nicest touch out of all of this was our bartender/server surprised us with two birthday desserts which were delicious and made us feel special as we celebrated our September birthdays. Can't wait to come back again for a special occasion!

I love Restaurant Week in our city as it provides an opportunity to explore and try out new places. The menus are at a fixed price per person and usually three to four courses are provided. The best part is a portion of the proceeds from all restaurants participating goes to Three Square which helps feed disadvantaged and hungry people in our community. Our particular choice is a platinum participant which means for each meal sold, $6.00 goes to Three Square. Entering, this classic steakhouse was dark and calming. We were greeted by the hostess and taken back to a large room with many tables. We had a corner table which was perfect. Initially, we were the only people dining so that was nice. Menus were provided but we already knew we were going with the Restaurant Week menu. We found out as we ordered that the menu did provide for upgrades. Our server Roe was simply the best. We loved the way she introduced herself and her assistant to us. "Roe like the boat and Kylie like the Karsdashian." Both Kylie and Roe were very personable, funny and helpful. Roe talked up their hand crafted cocktails and we both selected the VIP. This concoction consisted of New Amsterdam Orange Vodka and Golden Pineapple. It was a very tasty and refreshing drink although not much vodka. Next we went with our appetizers which we chose the Lobster Bisque and the Colossal Lumped Crab Cocktail (upgrade). The Lobster Bisque was unbelievably savory and delicious. I loved the spicy kick as it trickled down my throat. The Colossal Lumped Crab Cocktail was alright but nothing special. Onto the entrees which Roe was kind enough to bring us hot plates so we could share. We ordered the Filet Mignon and the Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna. Both entrees were very good but I really loved the Ahi Tuna more. The steak was a little too rare for me, but my husband loved it. The fresh green beans side were simply the best. The eloté styled cream corn with shishito peppers was fantastic! The hand mashed potatoes was my least liked side. They tasted old and dry. Our dinner ended with Salted Caramel Chocolate Mousse and the most scrumptious Butter Cake ever. It put the chocolate mousse to shame. Delicious cake served with butter pecan ice cream, fresh whipped cream and caramel sauce. Absolutely a divine creation that we could not get enough of. Overall, our experience here was satisfying and enjoyable. Service was outstanding and I would definitely dine here again in the future.

Had been wanting to try this steakhouse for years and Restaurant Week was the perfect excuse! Food, service, ambiance all outstanding. See pics for details on the Restaurant Week options. All items we tried were delicious, so I'm sure you can't go wrong. The portions were very generous so we had plenty to take home, and they boxed it all very nicely for us. (Rare to find these days! Usually places just hand you a box and you have to pack it yourself. Not here!) Really wonderful experience, highly recommend!

Liked by many locals and tourists as an off-Strip destination for Steak a visit to Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse outpaces much of their competition, Landry's long history finding service gracious yet pleasant while the atmosphere is unpretentious but refined. Reportedly the busiest of fifteen current outposts, a Hughes Center address well-suited to business meetings frequently held in one of eight private dining rooms, Appetizers are basic fare from Shrimp Cocktail or Bruschetta to a hearty Wedge Salad with punchy Danish Bleu Cheese Dressing. Offering an array of Cocktails and Wine, the "James Bond Table" a special attraction for "high rollers," those not interested in Beef will find Chicken, Cauliflower "Steak" and a respectable slice of Sea Bass adjacent everything from domestic Prime to Japanese A5. Not forgetting Sides, the Creamed Spinach bolstered by Bacon particularly, Dessert predictably sees Chocolate and Cheesecake trying to steer guests away from the only *real* choice of signature Butter Cake with crispy edges surrounding sweet insides prepared to sop up melting Ice Cream.

Came and had dinner with my husband. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. It was a calmer night. Not too many people there. We truly enjoyed our experience.

This place never disappoints! Kept the place open for us. Some changes since Landry's bought them out but overall still my go to in LV! Calamari is fresh and top notch. All the sides were delicious, drinks on point and filet melted in my mouth! Ambiance is a bit like an old school mob hang out, felt like Tony S. Service Food Ambiance Only downfall is their Grille version in LA is not even close to the same quality but if you're in LV it's a must try!

I can't say enough about the filet mignon! It is thick, juicy and delicious! You could literally cut it with your fork, I even tried just to be sure. You can almost suck this thing through your teeth, it's so tender. The mashed potatoes (twice baked?) were a perfect addition to the meal, as was the seasoned broccoli. Great service, always with a smile, and always with concern. A very nice indoor atmosphere, good mood lighting, soft music and quiet interior. We really loved this place, enough to where we are excited about coming back!

Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse

I see that reservations require a deposit of $50 per person for Valentine's Day. Is that money credited towards the bill or no?

No, this deposit is not credited towards the bill. Thank you.

Hi, do you accept Landry's gift cards?

    Yes they do.

What days are you currently offering a prix fix menu? I've read conflicting info - thanks in advance.

In the past it was a Fixe Pris for locals, on Sunday

Do they have a children's menu or can they do pasta?

    No children's menu.

    Do you have happy hour?

Not anymore per the staff they stopped after COVID

    Are there heaters outside?

    What is the dress code?

Business casual, although I have seen people wearing shorts while having dinner. It is a fine dining experience and I believe shorts are not appropriate for Del Frisco's.

Has the cigar lounge been reopened?

Bartender just told me that they are converting the outdoor patio to a new cigar bar by end of summer

How well are they handling the covid guidelines and social distancing?

They are doing well. They clean and wear masks also wear gloves. Excellent place for a wonderful dinner.

Any specials for newlyweds? Looking for a great dinner spot after our wedding. Thank you.

Not that I know, but tell the staff and I bet they surprise you with a treat.

What is the price of corkage?

$50 if the wine is not on their wine list. you can call & talk to Kelley, the sommelier to ensure your wine is not on their menu. their wine list is extensive. pete

    Is parking a problem?

I don't think so. It is in a business park off strip. They have valet.

Is there a corkage fee if I bring my own wine? EDIT: for Las Vegas location?

Yes, varies by location but should be from $25 - $30.

Can a pre-fixed menu be made for a larger party?

Yes you can as we had a business group dinner in private room with preset menu

    Do you have aHappy hour?

They do not as of August 2021

We had the steak tartare and it was great. I was able to order half size portions and it was still enough to share and not worry about having too much food or if it'd taste good when reheated. The Italian chopped salad was the delicious. I added a side of garlic shrimp scampi and they were yummy. We tried but ended up taking the carrot cake to go. The portion was generous and after all the other good food, I had run out of room. Highly recommend the parmesean truffle fries. All the dishes were eyecatching and mouthwatering. It's crazy how we have an Ocean Prime in the DMV but ended up at the one in Vegas. I'd be very happy to go back and try some of the other tantalizing menu items. For drinks, the pineapple picante was soooo good. Followed up with the berries and bubbles. Totally picture and video worthy. The restaurant was busy, but with a reservation we were seated within 10 minutes. Our server quickly came over to take our drink order and was very friendly. The restaurant's vibe was trendy and beautiful. For our appetizer, we ordered the edamame and crispy cauliflower. OMG--the cauliflower was delicious! It had the perfect crisp thanks to its light breading and was tossed in a spicy vegan mayo. Even though it had a generous amount of sauce, each piece still maintained its crispy texture. For our entrées, we ordered the Vegetable King Roll with king oyster mushroom, cucumber, avocado, and spicy miso. We also ordered the Truffle Mushroom Spaghetti with the added shrimp option. The spaghetti was perfect. The truffle flavor wasn't overwhelming, but it was definitely present and paired wonderfully with the rich mushroom sauce. For dessert, we ordered the vegan pistachio cheesecake with a side of coconut sorbet. It was so decadent and delicious. Even though we were staying at the Bellagio my husband and I made a last minute reservation online and came here for a late dinner. The restaurant is beautiful and has great vibes. From the entrance you can tell how pretty it's going to be inside and it did not disappoint. The hostess was not welcoming at all. She checked us in and said wait for our table which is being cleared up. After a few minutes we were seated, not in the mani dining room but the one on the right side which is not as pretty as the main but it's ok I know we made the reservations on that day. So no big deal. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. We started with edamame and shishito pepper. Both fresh and delicious. Then we ordered the ceviche and both of us loved it very much. To be honest both my husband and I were in the mood for sushi so we stuck to ordering sushi. Boy was that a disappointment. The Catch roll was not to our taste , it had crab salmon miso honey and the waiter used a torch to cook the salmon on top. It smelled so bad after he did that. Smelled burnt ... I didn't eat that roll after that. Then we ordered a few cut rolls like salmon tuna yellowtail ... all so basic and no taste. So so disappointing to serve this kind of sushi at a fine restaurant . So it turns out we would have been better off ordering non sushi items from the menu. We could have enjoyed our dinner. So after the last roll we called it a night and left. The reviews said they have excellent sushi but I don't think so. Now I wonder how everything else tastes here. Maybe one day I'll have a better experience with food here. Catch is a premiere place to be seen at I guess cause everyone was dressed up (by the way some very inappropriately) and taking so many pictures all over the restaurant.

It was really good, even though I had no idea what to expect. Don't let the small space fool you, they do an awesome job. There was so much lobster, and it came with chips and a craft soda. Considering all that, it was a great deal, especially compared to the prices of other places on the strip.
