I just want to say that I truly believe I found one of the best hidden gems in Las Vegas. As someone who has eaten at just about every restaurant in town and spent thousands of dollars dining out, I can honestly say this is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and everyone should experience it. The location may not be in the heart of the Strip or a flashy area, but in my opinion, they serve some of the most delicious food in all of Las Vegas. The steaks are outstanding, the cocktails are exceptional, and every dish we tried was incredible. I also want to give a special thank you to Justin, the manager. My boyfriend and I go to nice dinner spots whenever we travel, so we decided to go off Strip and try Primal Steakhouse. We got there before our reservation and were very impressed by the ambiance inside. The theming was super cool and even though the outside area seems unassuming, the inside is exquisite. We were sat after a few minutes of waiting and greeted by our incredible server, Parker. He was very kind, incredibly efficient, and nice to talk to! He also gave great recommendations. Honestly, the entire staff were all great and very helpful. The food was GREAT. So good. So filling...come ravenous. We both did the $70 3-course and it was great. The salad portions were generous and you even get a side with your steak. And the dessert was delicious (I'm not a tiramisu person at all but the Oreo one...man, so good). Also want to give a shoutout to the violinist--he was playing such a wide genre of music and it just made the ambiance and vibe so much better. Primal has to be one of my favorite steakhouses, especially with their incredible $70 prix fixe dinner. It's such a great value! You get your choice of soup or salad, an entrée, and dessert, plus you can add an appetizer for just $15. We started with the French onion soup and the Caesar salad. The Caesar was absolutely massive, easily big enough to share, and my French onion soup was rich, flavorful, and delicious. For our entrées, I ordered the 8 oz. filet, while my husband chose the short ribs. His short ribs were absolutely phenomenal! They were tender, flavorful, and the standout of the meal. My filet was cooked perfectly, though I think I'd order it without the onions next time so the steak can really shine. I also added the fully loaded baked potato, and whatever lardons they use on it were incredible. It may have been one of the best loaded baked potatoes I've had. We couldn't pass up the appetizer add-on and tried the deviled eggs with Wagyu and caviar. The Wagyu version wasn't really my favorite, but the caviar deviled egg was absolutely impeccable. Dessert finished the meal with a crème brûlée and the Oreo tiramisu. The Oreo tiramisu was a bit too heavy on the sweet cream for my taste, but the crème brûlée was perfectly executed with a crisp caramelized top and silky custard. A huge shout-out to our server, Maya, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made the entire dining experience even better with her attentive, friendly service. Mannnnn. I don't even know where to begin. I made reservations at Primal Steakhouse a few days ago and up until one hour prior to our reservation, I went back and forth questioning if I should cancel. I'm glad I didn't. Me and wifey showed up for our 7:30 PM reservation and was seated immediately and greeted by our server, Nicole (Congratulations on your little one!). She was very pleasant and then TK came out and dropped off a phenomenal sourdough bread slice with a side of bacon jam, I believe. Then we were greeted by manager Derrick, who I'd previously spoke with on the phone and told him we'd be about 5 minutes behind schedule. He told me it was no problem. Derrick's personality was personable to the point where it felt like I knew him already. TK recommended the pepper corn sauce for our steak and then went above and beyond by bringing out several different sauces to try with our steak. I informed Derrick my wife was in PA school and graduating soon and then he went above and beyond by bringing out a complementary dessert for her, which he did not have to do but we were very appreciative of the nice gesture. This experience tonight was one of a kind and I'd gladly come back on my next visit and tell a friend. I've never had such exceptional service at a steakhouse. The style of this restaurant is definitely different, and we weren't expecting it, very medieval rustic, which fits the primal concept. Fun look especially at the entry with all the melted wax from candles burning. Live music was nice. Our waitress was kind and helpful. Steak was decent, the salt was a bit more course, so if it was saturated in some areas some would say it was over salted but all in all it was good. French onion soup absolutely delicious, mashed potatoes were great, and Mac and cheese wasn't a wow factor, without asking they kindly removed it from our tab as we barely ate it. I love a good Caesar and I will say it was mild in flavor. Not pictured but the best highlight of this experience, the grilled toast with a tomato bacon jam of sorts. Very delicious and different. It was served fairly rare and under seasoned, we had to ask for salt to finish it. The sauces are underwhelming and seemed to be done in an untraditional way (it's a crime to call that chimichurri). The highlight of the meal was the Mac n cheese and the free bread they give you. The place itself is very cool but it is dark and loud as I imagine there's quite a bit of echoing in there. And let's talk about that Leviathan for a second, it was so good I literally started buying it on my own after this visit. That alone says everything. I was in Vegas for business, and our team decided to do a group dinner. We were told this spot would be perfect for great steak and even better conversation... and let me tell you, it delivered--with a side of time travel "Helloooo Mc fly!). The moment you walk in, it feels like you've stepped straight into a medieval castle. I'm talking dim lighting, stone vibes, and these wild little mountains of melted candle wax everywhere like time itself just gave up and decided to drip. For a second I thought, "Claire... is that you?"because this place has serious Outlander energy. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and just the right amount of dramatic. You can make reservations (which I highly recommend if you're rolling deep like we were), but they do accept walk-ins too. We got seated quickly and were greeted by our server, Kurin an absolute rockstar. She asked if it was our first time, gave great recommendations, and stayed attentive without hovering. Now, this is one of those classic steakhouse setups order your main dish, and the sides are separate. Some of my coworkers ordered drinks that looked like they came out of a mad scientist's lab bubbling, smoking, the whole show. No idea what it was, but it looked impressive. While waiting for the food, we noticed all the medieval décor on the walls. We jokingly asked if we could try some of it on... and to our surprise, Kurin told us we actually could. Next thing you know, we're in full-on photo shoot mode, living our best knight-at-the-round-table lives. Then the food started rolling out. First up, the wedge salad crisp, ice-cold lettuce, perfectly cooked bacon, and all the fixings hitting exactly how they should. Simple, classic, and done right. But the real star? The tomahawk steak. We split it between three grown men who have been known to make all-you-can-eat restaurants nervous and this thing still held its own. Massive doesn't even begin to describe it. Cooked to absolute perfection, incredibly tender (butter knife status), and seasoned so well it didn't need a single extra thing. Tomahawks can be tricky, but these folks clearly know what they're doing. We ordered a variety of sides, but the truffle fries stole the show crispy, flavorful, and the perfect wingman to that steak. Around the table, the burger got rave reviews, and the short rib was another standout rich, tender, and worth every bite. Then someone let it slip that it was my birthday, and out came this awesome macaron topped with a sparkler, because apparently subtlety is not on the menu here (and I'm not complaining). We also tried the deconstructed banana split, which was just as fun to eat as it was to look at. Is it a little pricey? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. Between the quality of the food, the unique atmosphere, and top-tier service, you're getting an experience not just a meal. I went into Primal Steakhouse not really knowing what to expect... and apparently what I should have expected was helmets, swords, violin music, and some of the best steaks we had in Vegas. Our group of 10 had an absolute blast. At some point during the night we were taking pictures with Viking helmets and swords while a violinist played classical tracks from the Bridgerton series. Somehow it all works together and makes the place feel like medieval fine dining in the best possible way. The cocktails were fantastic. The smoked Old Fashioned (King's Elixir) was basically dinner and a show all by itself and definitely grabbed everyone's attention at the table. The lobster bisque was one of the coolest presentations I've seen. They bring out a bowl filled with ingredients and then pour the bisque over it at the table. And yes... it tasted just as good as it looked. For the main course, my wife had the short rib and I shared a medium-rare Delmonico, which was excellent. Around the table we had a couple more Delmonicos and several short ribs along with sides like spinach and mac & cheese, and honestly everything was getting rave reviews. One thing that really stood out was the service before we even arrived. I made a reservation and received a call where they gave me a personal cell number in case anything changed. The owner was genuinely appreciative that we chose his restaurant for our business dinner, which is something you don't see very often. Great food, unique atmosphere, amazing cocktails, and service that goes above and beyond. Our entire group left with nothing but praise for the place. I'm on a work trip in Vegas and we wanted steak. My founder found this place on yelp and we had to check it out. The ratings definitely don't lie I gave them a quick call a few minutes before opening and we were able to get a reservation at 5:30PM on a Wednesday. We didn't know if we would need a table or 3 or 4 but they wouldn't seat us unless the whole party was there. Ended up going with a table of 3 but we were seated at a table of 4 so it didn't matter. It was such a cool medieval spot :o We asked the server what drinks she recommended and we ended up ordering Game of Thrones inspired drinks. I forgot what they were called, but the presentation was awesome. I loved how mine didn't taste like alcohol :) It tasted like a sour gummy drink yum! The glasses of water were super trippy too since it was slanted woah... The lighting is a vibe. We got deviled eggs for appetizer and it was so yummy (5/5). 2 deviled eggs came with caviar and 3 with wagyu I'm still thinking about it.... We ordered the 28oz Australian Wagyu Ribeye, mac and cheese, lemon butter asparagus, and mashed potatoes. Wow the wagyu ribeye was melting in my mouth. It was delicious (5/5). The hostess was kind too. Michael was our server, and he was the best server I've ever had in my life. Extremely kind, attentive, and made me feel special on my birthday. The pre-fixe menu was a great deal ($70 pp)- which includes a starter (soups or salads), entree, and dessert. I also tried their "Red Wedding" drink which was basically a raspberry lemon drop (yummy!). They also gave me a free cheesecake for my birthday and a red rose. Everything I ordered came with a show- which elevated the experience. It does get a little warm inside because of the candles, so I advise dressing a little lighter. The place was packed, which honestly surprised me given it's tucked on the outskirts of a mall. Our server recommended the lobster bisque, and we'd also seen it on TikTok, so we gave it a try. It was good, though slightly salty for my taste. I will say, compared to what we saw online, ours didn't have the large chunks of lobster we expected. We also ordered the carpaccio, which was spot on--exactly what you'd want from a local steakhouse. We decided on a bottle of wine, but there was a small mix-up. I stepped away briefly, and when I came back, I realized it wasn't the one we originally chose. Not the staff's fault at all--my boyfriend approved it after tasting and seeing the bottle Now, the main event--the steak. Butterfly Nocturn (vodka) $17 Their Filet Mignon was a FULL 8 ounce cooked and seasoned to perfection. It did more than melt in my mouth. It had a parade, a show, an opera and a standing ovation all at once. We need one of these in California..... Close to Manhattan Beach/Redondo Beach or Long Beach please. My goodness. We did not want the food to end. The sourdough bread other the bacon tomato jam was exquisite. I can't even nail the delicious flavors that took over my mouth. It was good. The steak, though, was just okay. Cooked exactly as ordered, but the flavor was kind of average. The top had this charred, ash-like layer that made me wonder if the grill hadn't been cleaned properly. Not a deal-breaker, just... odd. Still, it was nice getting off the Strip for something different. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere really does make the night feel special. This is now my favorite restaurant in the city! The restaurant is heavily themed with medieval decor but it is cozy and elevated at the same time. Location: this elevated steakhouse with a medieval/viking theme outside the Boulevard mall. Do not let the location scare you: they've really built a lovely environment and you will not feel like you are at the mall. You are truly transported with the decor, live music (played daily), and excellent food. The staff is super friendly- I felt like they understood when certain dishes were for "the gram" while also being super down to earth. The price point was quite pricey but the food and service was absolutely worth it. Now my favorites: the beef carpaccio was hands down my favorite appetizer I think I've ever had in my life. It was a beautiful display of how food can look gorgeous and taste incredible as well. Steak was cooked very well and presentation of the steak was great. I got one of their specialty drinks in a Viking horn which tasted great and was just fun to drink out of! Finally, the sparkler that they brought for my birthday just added to all the magic. Truly an incredible experience for me and my husband and I felt like the price point (because it is pricey) was worth the incredible experience. The photos and videos I've seen of this place do not do it justice. If you are unsure if the price point is worth it visit Primal for their Happy Hour M-Th all night long at their bar. Okayyy Primal Steakhouse !!! This was so bomb!! I'm happy my sister found this gem!! I love Vegas and their restaurants but this steakhouse was perfect!! The food was amazing and the service was incredible. The decor was very eccentric and the best I saw thus far awhile. It's medieval times with an upscale vibe! From my food, I ordered the Caesar salad and the short rib with mashed potatoes and spinach. The fact that I don't eat beef but decided to try because it's been a while since I had beef and I got tired of just turkey and chicken and fish lol. However, this was the best choice. The short rib was so moist and tender. It fell off the bone and the mashed potatoes was so good and buttery and flavorful, and the spinach was made to perfection with the right amount of seasoning. For my drink, I had the medieval sangria and oh my God the presentation was amazing. It came with fire on top and the sangria was very strong and very tasty with just enough amount of sweet for me. Also, the dessert was so good we try the Oreo tiramisu and it was definitely 10/10. I never had a Oreo tiramisu ever in my life and the taste was just phenomenal and delicious. Five stars all around. The entertainment was also very nice, they had a violist play all the good hits that we love. Which made the ambience and vibe very memorable and created a very nice experience. The service is very exceptional. We had the pleasure of having Hannah and she was just incredible. Her personality in her attentiveness was just amazing. She was very patient and very very good with taking our order and was just very easy going with no complaints and she made the experience very good Because of her. I'm definitely coming back and I cannot wait once I come back again to Vegas to try more options on their massive menu and try different appetizers and different entrées, and also different drinks. The service here was amazing 5/5 stars for that! Everyone was very friendly and took care of us very well and the manager came out to talk to us at the end of the night asking how everything was. The ambiance was great! Liked the melted candle in the middle of the table and the decorations and the way they served the food and drinks. The bathroom had a cool feel to it as well. The food I would say is a 3.5 stars but the service was the best part. Lobster Mac and cheese - this was ok, nothing too unique about the flavors. There was a decent about of lobster on it. Delmonico steak and tomahawk steak were both cooked medium rare but the meat was a bit tough. I feel like it should have been more tender and there needed to be more seasoning. For the price of the steaks, I felt like the quality of the meat itself wasn't up to par. Creme brûlée presentation with the fire was nice, but it turned the creme brûlée into more of a flan type texture instead of a silky smooth texture. Drinks were delicious! read more

What a disappointment Went off the reviews. It is a theme restaurant. We had the wedge salad. Only fair. More cheese and onions than lettuce. Order the Delmonico steak. The size was great to share and cooked perfect. Flavor ok. Bake potato was lukewarm. Not crispy on the outside. No butter. Had the chimichurri sauce . Not green but yellow. Had good flavor but like salsa. Rating were 4.9 on different sites......it was not! 3!!! read more

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Primal Steak House in Las Vegas. The ambiance is very unique with knights and swords decor. Food was 10/10. We shared a wedge salad, delmonico steak, baked potato, cream of spinach, and brussels sprouts.It was a lot of food for the two of us. Would definitely come back next time we are in town. Hidden gem!! What an experience we had here celebrating my dad's birthday. We were in town for a concert and finished the weekend with a fabulous meal on a Sunday evening. The place was packed and the vibe is edgy, dark and slightly creepy - in a good way. We got the carpaccio appetizer and the ham bruschetta. The carpaccio came on a dry ice platter and was as beautiful as it was delicious. My dad had the smoked Prime NY which I helped him finish; it was perfectly cooked. I had the elk rack that was the best elk I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked and the Demi sauce was delicious. My mom and daughter had the filet which were both underdone a little; that's the reason I only gave it 4 stars. We got sides of lobster risotto (excellent) which had a perfectly charred mini lobster tail on top and the Brussels which were a touch under (crunchy but yummy). This drinks were perfection too - Butterfly Nocturne and the Winter is Coming were really well done. I cannot write this without a special paragraph for the chocolate lava cake. We've seen this place all over socials and finally decided to give it a try. Not going to lie, when we pulled into the area we were a little concerned as it's in the blvd mall complex but we were pleasantly surprised. We've been to steakhouses all over vegas and this one stands out for its niche fun decor /theme. I'd say the restaurant itself deserves a 4.5/5 , but the service and decor bump it up to get the 5 stars. At their entrance they have a nice little sofa with some decor behind, very social media friendly entrance. We had reservations and were greeted promptly and sat in the dining area. Front of the house staff were very friendly . Our waitress Haylee (sp) gave us a solid run down of the drink options and menu. We had a few questions about favorites and steaks. Libations: I ordered the house old fashioned- it was served in a fun smoked glass and tasted impeccable. The wine list by the glass had enough options to choose from , the other half wasn't drinking so couldn't split a bottle. I'd say they have a fair enough wine list though. Not as extensive as other steakhouses but will fit the needs of most. Food: The menu leaves not much lacking. The only thing we missed were fresh oysters, which is our usual starter at most steak houses. We decided in the bone marrow for a starter. It was a good shareable amount. Very rich and tasty, the kale salad and bread served in the side went very well with it. I could have done with the bacon jam/confit that it was topped with but was an easy fix to just move it to the side. We are both big eaters and were torn between the aged porterhouse and the tomahawk. Haylee gave some recs and we decided to split the 50oz tomahawk. Sides: Mac n cheese and loaded baked potato. The steak came out perfectly cooked, medium rare, with a nice crunchy flavorful bark on the outside. We chose the red wine demi for sauce but honestly used it once. The steak didn't need it and tasted great. It comes out pre sliced which made for easy sharing. We demolished it haha I think we had 1.5 slices left . We were also able to take the bone home ( future flavor for homemade pasta sauce or soups). The Mac n cheese was creamy and well seasoned, I could have had 2 plates of this haha. The loaded baked potato also packed flavor and came with generous amount of thick lardons on top. I ordered a glass of red to go with my steak, it paired well, was full bodied and left me wanting for another glass. Dessert: Options were good, I'm a little picky with my desserts and love tiramisu but theirs is an Oreo one and I didn't like the departure from the basics. We decided on the Quattro leches cake, it was creamy rich and delicious. Paired very well with the espresso martini. All and all, I'd definitely come back. They also have happy hour at the bar Mon-Thurs. if youre in vegas looking for a unique dining experience I'd give it a try.
