To set a place setting and have visible dirty dishes sitting out is not a good sign. It shows you are not paying attention or do not care. This is a very expensive restaurant. I was planning on going to a restaurant on International Drive just to get a feel for Orlando while there for a convention. What I encountered was a long line of cars and no parking. I looked to my right and saw Del's big parking lot. Split second decision and I'm in the left hand turn lane heading into what became one of the best meals of my life! The Del's salad was so delish and if you're a light eater, it could be a meal in itself. The bacon layered on top and the creamy dressing! I wasn't hungry enough for a steak so ordered the Wagyu Meatballs. I will dream of these meatballs until the day I die! I would seriously considering driving the three hours this restaurant is away from me to eat here again for these meatballs! Their taste profile was just perfect. The Tomato Fondue they were served in was some of the best Italian seasoning I've ever had. And I'm not even a fan of Italian food! The service was good but not super friendly. I recently visited Del Frisco's for a work retirement dinner. This was my first time trying out this steak house, and was excited to see what they had to offer. Since it was a large party, about 20 people, we were sat in a private room which made it easier to hear and interact with each Luther. The service was great and our waitress was very attentive. The menu was prix fix, which made it a simple decision on what my dinner would be. The table shared the crab cakes which were delicious. I chose the Del's salad for my salad option, and the bacon on there was cooked to perfection. As my entree, I chose the filet mignon. I'm not a huge fan of steak, but this was easily the best steak I have ever had. For dessert, I had the butter cake. Every who ordered that was obsessed with it. Keep in mind they don't have non alcoholic wine but if you bring your own bottle there a small uncorking fee. They have a killer nonalcoholic margarita..... the sour mix makes a difference! Let's get to the meat they have all the elevated cuts and all cooked to your desire perfections. With the ability to customize with select seasonings and butter. We're simple like the salt, pepper, and garlic butter but you can go as far as blackening your cut! They also have a cauliflower steak for those of you that think vegans shouldn't go to steakhouses. It's descent. There's a numbers on the tongue while eating that opens up the pallet bit (I want to say it's Szechuan). It was heavy aldente and I highly recommend if your a cheat-gan than definitely just go for the meat. Sides are all family style which I love! So pleasantly surprised by our dinner here! Big win was the filet mignon, medium rare. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. In comparison, the S.O.'s ribeye was a tad underwhelming. We had a tuna tartare appetizer and it was delicious though I think a more delicate chip would be better. We also ordered 2 sides - creamed corn and mashed potatoes. The corn was easily the winner - highly recommend. The portion sizes of the sides are easily enough for 3-4 people so we ended up with leftovers. The best part is the complimentary bread. It's so buttery and soft and delicious. We didn't have room for dessert which was a bummer because I'm pretty sure it'd be delicious too. Overall, a wonderful dinner option. A bit on the pricier side, but very satisfying. Also, we were dressed very casually as we'd just gotten off a 5-hour flight, but we still felt comfortable. There are some really nicely dressed folks, then us scrubbier-looking ones, but we did not feel awkward about it. Also, coincidentally, I had a work-related event here years ago. It has become an annual tradition for my wife and I to go to Del Frisco's on Christmas Day. Surprisingly, we had the same server as last year. Her name is McKenzie and she is absolutely fabulous. We made our reservation for very early in the afternoon right after opening, and it was still quite crowded by the time we were seated. The ambiance was relaxed and it actually felt like any other day. This go round, I decided to go off the beaten path... so no steak. Last year I did the Waygu. We started off with the Salmon French Toast. A savory French toast topped with smoked salmon, caviar, crème fraiche, and a champagne caramel. 9/10 My main was the Chilean Sea Bass with crab fried rice, with sides for the table consisting of lobster Mac and cheese, and creamed spinach. The sea bass was exquisite with the black bean garlic sauce an ample complement to the rich fattiness of the fish. Del Frisco's has some of my favorite steakhouse Mac and cheese and I was reminded of why. The true star of the show for me was the bread... they appeared to be Hawaiian rolls, but were basted in honey butter with sea salt on top. Very hard to not eat too many of them. My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our anniversary during Magical Dining and had a really awesome experience. Having had a reservation, we were seated immediately and our servers attended to us very quickly. The interior was dimly lit but not too dark where you can't see who you're talking to or your food, it was the perfect amount of mood lighting. We started off with a bottle of wine and our starters, followed by our entrees. My filet mignon was good but perhaps a tad undercooked. Nevertheless, the presentation of all of our food was really well done. I really appreciated the extra touch and acknowledgement of our celebration with a little chocolate happy anniversary sign. We visited for magical dining and we got the meatballs, the chicken, tuna, chocolate mousse and bread pudding. The portions were definitely huge! The meatballs were amazing, they really gave you two humongous meatballs when they could've just given you one. The rolls are hot and fresh and just delicious! The dessert took a little time to come out but it wasn't a issue. Unfortunately, I did take one star off because my entrée was cold when it came out. The chicken did not have any taste except for the green sauce on it, the aji verde, but Jacob was wonderful and brought me out some new hot potatoes and more sauce. He was constantly checking in with us and making sure that we had what we needed. The desserts were humongous as well! The bread pudding was a bit dry, but they did give you a sauce to pour it on and it was pretty yummy. Had the privilege of attending a client appreciation gathering hosted by Nona Wealth Advisers in their upstairs space with open bar and wine. The event started with passed appetizers - cheesesteak egg roll, tuna tartare on wonton chip, bruschetta and crab cake. I really enjoyed the cheesesteak egg roll as they were bite size but had plenty of steak and flavor. They opened the hot food service - steak strips, sautéed mushrooms, macaroni & cheese and scalloped potatoes. I did not try the potatoes as they placed them under the broiler too long and the top was burnt. Plus, I thought it was a pasta dish the first time. The steak was perfect for my taste, rare to medium rare, and lightly seasoned. Plus there was the tower of U10 shrimp. Dessert options were chocolate mousse and caramel topped sugar cookie. Magical dining 2022 just wasn't it. The food quality is getting worse and worse and service left something to be desired. I am actually disappointed, I don't know what happened here. We've been to Del Friscos multiple times, during magical dining and without but this was our last visit. The magical dining menu was a little different this year. They had wagyu meatballs as an option for apps and ahi tuna as an option for entree. Everyone at the table either started off with the farmhouse salad or the wagyu meatballs. The salad was plentiful and fresh. The wagyu meatballs... I mean what are wagyu meat balls anyways? They tasted like chicken and breadcrumbs. They heavily lacked seasoning and the sauce was just not enough. Our entrees were either the tuna or filet duo and the tuna was rather dry and bland. Not nearly enough dressing. The steaks were very interesting. We each had something wrong with one of our duos, like silver skin or an odd, lamb taste. Dessert was the most disappointing, their mousse used to be so good. Now they serve it with cool whip on the bottom which is way too sweet. Their cheesecake tasted like straight up cream cheese, more savory than sweet, and the bread pudding was inedible. I visited del Friscos again and had to rave about their magical dinning menu!!! It was fantastic!! $60 for a 8oz steak and an appetizer, which I got two HUGE meatballs! They were amazing with a sauce that had a kick! I've been here before but never for magical dining! It was worth it! However this time I was really disappointed by the valet. When we got there they were busy as expected but they were rude, wouldn't even answer my questions as to where to leave the car or where to wait for my car to get parked. I was asking one of the valet guys and then other guy interrupted me to say "we will be with you in a moment" about 15 mins later they finally got to me. I was late for my reservation at that point. I had no issue waiting I just wanted to be instructed on where to wait safely.... That interaction almost made us leave and go somewhere else and as a manager I'd like to know how my front of house is doing. It was disappointing especially when you're going to spend hundreds of dollars at a restaurant. Food was 10/10 as always and so was the service inside. read more

Our first visit here after 12 years of living in Orlando. We came for magical dining and had an incredible meal from the start to finish! The bread omggggg !! Soo soft, warm, perfect amount of butter and a hint of salt and sweet. Heaven!!! We tried the market salad & wagyu meatballs for our starters. The salad was HUGE & one of the best starter salads I've ever had! Has cranberries, goat cheese and walnuts I think. The dressing was a citrusy balsamic something... I could have drank it it was so yummy!! The Wagyu meatballs were INCREDIBLE also! Only meatballs I've ever tried that didn't taste greasy. Loved the red sauce they are served in! We were shocked at the size of the meatballs as well. Perfect for sharing. Onto our entrees, we're both filet people so naturally we went w the filet medallions. Normally I'm not a fan of sauces on my steak but these were phenomenal!!! One had a peppercorn Bernaise sauce I believe and the other was a dark sauce, not sure the name but it was also incredible! Even though the medallions were seared and salted so yummy you couldn't help but dip them in the sauces. The medallions were served w garlic mashed potatoes that were heavenly. The perfect amount of cream without being too heavy. Their a bit chunky compared to most mashed potatoes but really good! My only complaint is the green beans were a lil undercooked and I would have prepared asparagus. This mean was soo delicious though regardless! I was sad there was no chocolate cake on the menu but we opted to try the chocolate mouse and bread pudding. The chocolate mouse was really good! Has a nice caramel sauce on top but again just wasn't cake :( The bread pudding was actually amazing!!! It was a really nice texture similar to cake & Had a caramel drizzle on top that made it perfect! Served w vanilla ice cream also! I'm usually not a bread pudding fan but I'd get this again! The food was great. Really delicious. Fair warning, the steak has a lot of pepper on it. The starters, which are all shareable, were pretty amazing, except for maybe the truffle fries. Besides truffle butter, they weren't that special. I'd recommend the blue cheese wedge salad and twice baked potato. Any steak will be great. The bill for a group of 5, before tip came to $740. For the price, the service could have been way better. I would call it atrocious. I'm sure our waiter was having an off night but the food was all mixed up when arriving. Including wrong placements, wrong toppings, and sauces on steaks, which they charged us for, something that should have been comped or fixed. Plus, they were not very attentive. The table next to us even brought over the manager due to lack of service. Just really laughable prices for the mediocrity of service. Our bill was about $40 more than it should have been due to mistakes. Soda water was $5 by the way. Something else that doesn't make any sense: Irish coffee: $6.50. Single shot of espresso? $7. Make it make sense. I'd recommend trying a different steakhouse if you want a great experience with your great steak. read more

When you walk in, you walk through two big double doors and once you enter, the ambiance just moves you. The restaurant is a great size with a bar, two private rooms for dining, and an upstairs terrace dining as well. You are then greeted by the hostess who was nice and also sat us down. We were then greeted by Ashley our Server who was superb and had AMAZING customer service. We ordered our drinks and loved that she recommed the house red wine. It was really good, had a smooth finish, and really complimented our steak dinner. We went on to order our appetizers and meals. Two members of our party ordered the Double Eagle Table Tasting which consisted of 2 appetizers, 2 choices per person for entree with 2 sides, and 2 desserts. The following was ordered: Appetizers: 1.Wagyu Meatballs (great flavor and tenderly cooked and delicious) 2. Cesar Salad (little on the mustard flavor side, it was okay) Entrées: 1. Filet Minion and Lobster (filet was very soft and also tendor and one of the best my friend has had. The lobster was a little tough) 2. 6oz steak and grilled scallops (both were cooked well and delicious) Sides: 1. Cream Corn & Cream Spinach (very good) Desserts: 1. Butter Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream (simply delicious with a crunch on the outside and a soft buttery cake inside, a definitely must try) 2. Cheesecake (this was good but not as dense as others, appeared a little more like a thick mouse) We also ordered: 1. Tomato Bisque (it had a strong tomato taste not too much heavy cream as I'm use to and wasn't able to finish it due to it having a strong tomato flavor. 2. Roasted Chicken (very very dry and would not recommend, it tasted as though it was defrosted and cooked right away which is why it was soooooo dry. Although, they do specialize in steak, I didn't think it was great to serve chicken like that especially when it's $37.99.) 3. 16oz Primerib Steak (cooked to perfection at medium and very soft with a great pepper crust, it was very full of flavor) 4. Brussel Sprouts & Jalapeño Mash Potatos (both were full of flavor, the bacon added great flavor to the brussel sprouts and thr jalapeños added in the mash potatoes added a little kick which was nice. We were able to make a reservation on-line the night before which was great! They appreared to be very busy but Ashley was great and continued to check on us throughout the evening. I came in for dinner with some friends on an early dining reservation. Our server came over to us and was super personable. We did the magical dining option. We ordered a bottle of Cabernet. We started off with calamari for the table. I loved the sauce that the calamari has however it was drenched in sauce so you couldn't taste anything else. The starter of choice for me was the blue cheese wedge. I could have just had this and been happy. I ordered the 8oz filet. The steak was cooked perfectly however when the steak arrived it was just meat on the plate and that to me is always disappointing. I did order a side of bernaise which I would recommend. I selected a side of the brussel sprouts with the panchetta and bread crumbs. Those were just meh. I was expecting some sort of balsamic or olive oil with it. The breadcrumbs seemed like a last min throw on. Last but not least, the butter cake for dessert was a nice finishing touch. The ice cream had no flavor tho. A good meal at this (expensive) outlet of Del Frisco's. Very similar in style to the any of the other hi-end steak places, Del Frisco's is dark and clubby. This store, adjacent to the convention center in Orlando is enormous. Tables are close together and it's very loud. Service is efficient and professional, if brusque. Drinks and appetizers were delivered quickly in a platoon service. Main course delivered equally efficiently. There is no apparent shortage of servers here. Steaks are high quality. My ribeye, ordered medium rare, was rare when served. Not catastrophic as the beef was delicious, but at this price point if you order medium rare you should get medium rare. The meat was lusciously seasoned, seared then grilled. Very tender, juicy and moist. Sides for the table were piping hot and well portioned. None really stood out - all delicious but nothing special. For a business dinner while at the conference, Del Frisco's is great choice. If I'm paying, I'll go off I Drive to one of the locally owned spots, like Charley's. read more

Wish I could give this place 3.5 stars. From my perspective, it was a 5, however, from my husband's, it was a 3. Ambiance, service, and my meal were all top notch. We came in strictly for the Magical Dining Menu and knew exactly what we wanted and ordered quickly, and explained to our lovely server that we had movie to catch. I allotted 1 hour and 45 minutes to our dinner but we weren't seated right away so unfortunately we rushed out of there with our desserts in a doggy bag. But that was ok since they still tasted fresh the next day. I got the seasonal salad for my starter and my husband got the Caesar. Both were surprisingly large portions. Mine was very delicious and I was sad I didn't take any home. For entrees we both got the filet mignon duo and ordered them medium. This is where our stars split. Mine came out perfectly cooked with a red center. My husband's came out done, almost well done. We didn't have time to send it back since again we had a movie to catch so my husband reluctantly and disappointingly ate some of his. I was happy to share mine with him and we felt bad throwing his away so we took it home for leftovers too, but he was right, it sucked.
