Stopped in to get a Margarita! This is a very friendly, warm and inviting place with a solid margarita! The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the different mixed drinks. The bathrooms are a bit small but there is plenty of parking on the street.

Taco Trio- Shrimp, Birria, and Buffalo Chicken

My experience was generally a positive one. I came here for a dinner with my coworkers after a long work week. They have decent happy hour specials! The ambiance was dim, but a bit loud. We really had to yell to hear each other. Otherwise the waiter was pleasant! Checked in a lot with us throughout- mainly before we got our food. I liked the decor too. Regarding the food- pretty decent. Here's what I had: Drink: Passion fruit Margarita mock-tail with Tajin rim- delicious! I would say it's even the best mock-tail margarita I've had yet. It really tastes like a regular Margarita without the alcohol which I enjoyed a lot. I enjoyed the fact that it didn't taste like just passion fruit juice in a cup. Entree: Taco Trio (corn tortilla, side of fries)- I picked this because I kind of wanted a little bit of everything from the taco menu and this option allows you to mix and match three tacos from the menu. I ended up going with the Shrimp Taco, Birria Taco, and Buffalo Chicken Taco. Shrimp Taco- tasty combination with the sauce, coleslaw and shrimp *however* the shrimp smelled fishier than it should. Like maybe it wasn't the freshest shrimp which was a bit disappointing to me. Birria Taco- tasty and I enjoyed it with the consome it came with. It was a decent Birria taco, just not one of the best. However I would probably go for this one again next time. Buffalo Chicken taco- a bit disappointing. ratio of chicken to the lettuce and tortilla amount is lacking. It also came with an avocado slice. The taco was a bit dry between a lack of Buffalo sauce, and again, the ratio of everything. Not the most convinced by this combo and it didn't taste fresh. I would consider coming back but would probably opt out of the Buffalo chicken taco and *maybe* would give the shrimp taco another shot.

Nestled in the heart of Babylon Village, our motivation was the lunch special EVERYDAY. We opted for the taco special. Includes rice/beans or fries. Soda included for one low price. Metered parking on Deer Park Avenue or "pay to park" in the rear. Service varies (sometimes you're standing at the door awhile) but in busier nights, hostess will assist. Warm weather offers the patio with picnic table seating- umbrellas to offer shade and their variety of hot sauces is pretty outstanding. Priced accordingly- great drink menu- Pineapple/coconut Margarita is my fave! Buen provecho!

Had the opportunity to check out this delicious Tex-Mex joint in the heart of Babylon Village. Went on a Friday night and it wasn't busy. You receive complimentary chips and salsa, which is always appreciated. On Monday nights they have Margarita Monday's, their house margaritas are half-off. I had the pineapple which was delicious! I ordered their BBQ Brisket Enchiladas prepared Santa Fe style, since I'm a sucker for sweet plantains. The dish comes with a side of their Del Fuego rice. There was so much food that I've had leftovers for two days! The ambiance is fairly typical for a Tex-Mex joint but the decor around the bar is what stood out. I will definitely be back!

I've been here before and the food has progressively gotten worse. I had ordered FLAUTAS. Which if you know anything about Mexican cuisine you'd know they are deep fried taquitos. What I got from DelFuego was two small sized burrito (pan fried) and it tasted so bland. Definitely would not be coming here again. I usually take pictures, but it wasnt even worth it.

We ordered the Captain Corn & The Swine French Toast and Noemi's Pupusas Clásicas. Both were excellent, but the French toast was a standout. Not overly sweet, the cinnamon paired incredibly well with the pork and the cornbread, and the kernels of corn baked in were a nice touch. Love to see a creative menu like this. So many interesting options, it was hard to choose. The space is beautiful with great natural light from the high ceilings. If you find it a little loud, they have some high tops near the bar that are quieter and more private. We'll be back.

Food 2/5. We got the Haechi Scramble and the Lean Back Omelette Both were tasty, which makes the…read morerest more annoying. The haechi had some kind pancake underneath which was soggy. Food took about 30 minutes to come out, and we were literally the only ones in the place. My wife had digestion issues after eating. Also, the coffee cups are very small. We needed about 3 refills instead of 1 which we would normally get. Service 4/5. Our server was attentive, friendly, walked us through the menu without being pushy. He checked on us. Ambiance 2/5. Cozy spot, good music playing. But the chairs are metal with zero cushion, and there's a bar across the back of the chair that digs right into your back if you lean back at all, so you end up sitting forward the whole meal. First floor flooring looked dated too. Cleanliness 3/5. Floor on the first level wasn't that clean. Given the digestion issues afterward, makes you wonder what's going on back in the kitchen. Bathroom was fine though, passed a quick swipe test. Parking 3/5. There's lots nearby but it's a bit of a walk, and you cross a street that gets busy. Street parking exists if you can find a meter. Value 2/5. $50 with tip for two people. For the wait, the stomach issues, and those chairs, that felt like too much. Overall 2/5. Service was solid but it couldn't make up for the food problems and how uncomfortable the seating was. Not going back.

Chinese or Asian fusion? We just had that the other day. Diner? Nah. My daughter remembered Post Office Cafe and we went. It was very loud in the front and we almost walked out but figured we'd give it a try. They seated us way in the back (I had no idea this place was so huge!) where it was quieter. I ordered a chicken salad of some kind with avocado and salad. My son ordered the mac and cheese - it was the highlight of dinner! Absolutely delicious. His friend got the Thai calamari which was decent until he got to the bottom. It was soaked in seasoning and too sweet. My daughter got the buttered pasta - children's portion. I'll let the photo speak for itself. It was drenched in butter. On the bright side - service was great, most of the meals were excellent, waffle fries on point. I mentioned the pasta and showed our server the pool of butter. He took it off our bill without even asking. So ... 4 stars - 5 stars for local business service and just lost the one star for the less than stellar meal and app. Will probably be back!

I started with a mango jicama salad from the specials menu, it was delicious, I definitely recommend it and I hope they still have it if I ever get back that way. "I see her on the freeway Long Island Expressway…read moreHey, give me a break, baby Help me get out of this rain" (Rolling Stones) I just attended a wedding here, and I honestly can't imagine any aspect of the experience that could have been improved. It was that good. The wedding ceremony took place outside, where rows of chairs were set up and we all had gorgeous waterfront views. After the ceremony, we walked into the building's first floor for the cocktail hour. Simply put, the food was amazing. The cocktail hour alone could have served as a meal. There was a big central charcuterie station of cold appetizers - think meats, cheeses, fruits, and crudities. The four corners of the room each housed a food station - a carving station, sushi/sashimi, pasta, and Asian stir fry. Oh, and there were tons of butler service passed hors oeuvres too. Next, we walked upstairs to the large ballroom for the main meal. Dinner service started with a "Burrata Caprese" salad with a big hunk of creamy mozzarella served in a dressed salad with grilled bread. As for the dinner entrees, would you believe a choice of SEVEN entrees?? I kid you not -- seven entrees - Branzino, chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, Surf and Turf, and eggplant. My table had just about all of the choices, and everything disappeared. After the meal, there was an apple tart with ice cream and wedding cake. All of the people I interacted with, the hosts, the bartenders, the servers and the clearers were super polite and friendly. When I think about the decor, the scenery, the food, and the service, this was a top-notch experience, Well done, Piermont.
