The service and food at this establishment was prestigious and the atmosphere was very old school and I loved it

I have always tried to help support the local businesses out here but done after tonight after this visit. So google shows open until 10:00pm the door sign says 9:00pm. Me and my wife show up at 8:35pm and are told that the dining room is shutdown at 8:30pm. That only the drive-thru is open until 9pm. Then as we are asking the young girl about all this a party of five walk in and sit and they begin to take their order. Of course we mentioned something about it on our way out, and she just sighed loudly as we walked out. We usually enjoy eating here but likely won't be back. Sucks for us. Hopefully they don't arbitrarily choose their customers like this all the time and continue to run people off. read more

This place is kept old school, but I like it. The insanely large yet thin sandwiches. Quite filling as you eat. The overall seasoning is quite simple. I would love maybe a spicy version of their sandwiches. The tater tots also need to be cooked a little longer and salted. They are usually quite "sad". read more

We just moved back to Oklahoma month ago from West coast. I had del rancho many years from Moore Oklahoma since I am a graduate of moore Sr high. Of course I been enjoying the steak sandwich for many years. Then I moved Yukon Ok. And had a chance to try steak plate. OMG it was most tender and well prepared meal I ever enjoyed from any restaurant. We are hooked on to the Quality of Food and Service they are serving to us. Something has definitely changed at this Del Rancho. The chicken fried steaks and steak sandwiches are not as good as they have been in the past. In the past they were made to order and were hot with tasty fluffy crumbly batter over-hanging the bun and fresh out of the fryer. Today was different. We even asked the waitress about it, and she said nothing has changed. These patties were thin and not as big, with a different crust that appeared to be premade or from a frozen patty that was heated up. It tasted different too, or maybe it was just the crust. Either way, we were very disappointed. On the good side, the fries and gravy were still good. I'm not sure if there has been an ownership change or maybe things have changed to cut costs, but I don't think we will be back until we hear some more good reviews about the chicken fried steaks since that is the only reason we come here. read more

Food is enjoyable. Nothing super fancy. But is def tasty. Chicken fried steak sandwich is always good.

I love this place. They hand bread the chicken fried steak and they are huge pieces. I like that they don't use egg on the meat before breading so my son can eat it without worrying about eating something he is allergic to. I wish they would use real mayonnaise though. I don't like Miracle Whip. And the veggies are usually wilted when I get home from them putting the veggies on the steak as soon as it comes out of the fryer. I order it with the veggies on the side so I can put them on at home when I put on the real mayo. My son loves their corn nuggets. Their mashed potatoes and gravy are super yummy too. It tastes like they might add garlic and/or onion powder to the potatoes. I've never asked though so I'm not 100% sure. Their Texas toast is crisp and buttery and the burgers are juicy. I love their super sized corn dog, but it isn't always completely done in the middle; the batter is slightly gooey right around the dog. The fries are decent and the tater tots are ok. The tater tots aren't crispy. I'm real particular when it comes to any type of potato though so don't hold what I say against them. Their drinks taste funny, kind of like dirty water. I always get it to go so I just get a drink from somewhere else or drink water when I get home. After writing this review, I may have to get some Del Rancho tomorrow! read more

We went through the drive thru, the staff was nice but it took forever, idk if they were having a meeting or something it was like they all were just standing there... together.... ? My husband and I both got the steak sandwich supreme, because it's big enough for you to cut in half and save for later. Unfortunately my steak sandwich was way over cooked / burnt . I like a little crunch but mine was like crunch and hope you don't cut your gums. This is the second time we ate at a Del Rancho in 11 years, I'm willing to try it again but I just don't taste what all the fuss is about. Maybe next time I can try something else. Soo meh read more

Tonight another customer was complaining about a fly - it's August in Oklahoma, you're gonna see flies and the store manager can't stop every single one. The staff was very friendly. Our food arrived promptly. It was correct. We of course had steak sandwich supremes. Onion rings are pretty tasty and crisp. The garlic dressing for the salads is still good. I was really pleased and surprised. Sometimes the food of your childhood doesn't live up to the nostalgia. Del Rancho is always good so when we came back to Mustang we could not wait to get there. The place is very clean We received our steak supreme and wewe disapointed. The sandwich was pressed or crushed and part of the bun so thin it was like dough. Taste was just not that good. We were not pleased when the waitress cam to our table with no mask. Several staff in back of register and comming out of the kitchen wernt wearing masks. We didnt finish and just paid and left. My wife said the lack of concern for masks made her sick. read more

We used to drive there to eat around once a month, food and service was good. Now we moved to Mustang and the last 2 times in a row in last month the place has gone downhill. Orders were wrong both times, they took my wrong sandwich back and left my cold fries with me and didnt bring me new ones last time. No refills on drinks also. The make the best chicken fried steak in Mustang OK. The wait will be FOREVER since they make the food to order and really enjoy playing most the shift while we watch from the drive they. The line guys keep open container beverages and prepare Togo orders without gloves. They made our order incorrectly then played it off that it would be ready soon. Not a fan. I know a lot of people like the food here but the atmosphere when I have gone in is very dirty. I know that all employees take breaks and a lot of people smoke and I am ok with that but when I am ordering my food one day there was a guy smoking on the side of the building and he walked right inside and went straight to bagging up orders. Did not wash his hands or anything. That I have a hard time dealing with. Prices are good and similar to normal fast food and they started decorating recently out front so that was pretty cool and made it not look like such an old rundown building but I just can't get over the smoking thing. There was only two people that I saw in the restaurant so it led me to believe that one of them was a manager and I just could not g back to eat there. I ordered fried okra and it tasted fine. Mostly okay, but the drive thru has issues. The fries were the only thing correct in my recent order, and I didn't catch it until I got home because apparently they flatten the chicken fried chicken so it looks identical to the chicken fried steak. Who knew you had to rip into the meat to verify it's the correct meat? I guess it's just the luck of the draw, because they don't always screw up. About half the time they get the order correct the first time, hence the three stars. read more

First let me say this restaurant is always good..I can't think of one thing to complain about but more importantly for meat eaters..i don't eat much meat at all so now I can really tell the difference in flavor and freshness of all meat I eat..i refuse to eat reg fast food now because of that!!
