Ok there was one star reviews I wasn't scared. Drive thru was the best option. The drive thru worker was friendly and repeated my order also offered a combo meal. I ordered 3 Original Del Tacos and two green burritos. Very inexpensive. It was freshly made to order warm tacos with crispy lettuce and fresh diced tomatoes a bit too much cheese. I was surprisingly impressed for a fast food taco. Its not authentic Mexican but if you have that expectation you'll enjoy the Del Taco original. As for the burritos nothing to write about . She opens the window, and before we can explain the confusion, she yells, "I ain't tak'n no orders at the window!" Before we could utter a word, she broke the stunned silence with "Yer gonna have to drive round, nobody else here knows how to take an orderand I needed abathroom break!" This place was pretty gross. The staff was friendly but the restaurant was very dirty. The bathrooms looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in a year. We ordered 8 tacos between three of us, and our fourth, my 8 year old got a milkshake. The tacos were okay, but we all just had to eat a bunch of tums. The milkshake was beyond disaster. Drive thru employee extremely rude when he took our drink order down wrong. He was so mean about it. I'm the one who apologized to him and said that those were the incorrect drinks. The manager got involved and said you just give her the correct drinks. My EPIC chicken burrito was inedible. The chicken was so dry, it was sawdust. I was concerned I'd get sick so I didn't eat. The beans in that burrito were hard as rocks probably from sitting dried out. The rest of the filling was a mess as well. The tortillas for the fish tacos were cold and crumbling from not being cooked/warmed yet wrapped around the fishiest fish that was most certainly not fresh. Totally inedible. Not to mention we requested no sauce but of course were loaded with white sauce. Fries weren't fresh but semi edible compared to everything else. The coke we drank was the only good tasting thing. On our way to Flagstaff, we often stop in Anthem. Del Taco is a family fave for fast burritos and fries. This location, however, is truly disastrous. We've given it a few opportunities before formulating this review. The interior, if open (which it appears to open and close at leisure) is usually in disarray, sticky gross floors, unwiped tables, people looking disgruntled waiting on orders etc. The drive-thru is just as baffling. The greeting has consistently been "one second... and okay" in a harsh and unpleasant tone. The man working the last several times is extremely rude, has zero customer service capabilities and comes across aggressive. The fries were hot but undercooked and barely filled within containers. A few items have been missing from our orders on occasion and going in to retrieve said items has always been risky and met with anger towards us for seemingly caring about the items we've paid for. After this last trip we decided to look at yelp and of course this has been a consistent experience for a lot of customers. Let's go management. Let's go owners! Why are you letting your location deteriorate and have your brand be so poorly represented? Yeah, we likely won't go back and that solves our dissatisfaction- but at some point you're going to have to take notice to these reviews. Staff and operations are a reflection of the leadership and it has to start with you in tightening up protocols and expectations. Best of luck. read more

This place gets -5 stars I'm a truck driver and the dining room is closed abd the morning manager at 11:36am in 3-22-21 refused to allow me to walk through the drive through.. I'm wondering if this person knows how her products she cooks with arrives at the store? Or any store she shops at.... these people want 15 an hour in wages and they can't even make a decision to allow a truck driver to walk through a drive through. With over 74 1 star reviews on Google many of which are over a year ago, you'd think you could hire some competent employees. Service was terrible, waited 15 minutes for a bean burrito and a veggie burrito. The rice was over cooked and hard as a rock. The crew member taking my order also didn't give any sauce or napkins of which I asked for prior to being ushered to the front of the store to park and wait. Are you hiring? Food is always good, they're a little slow about taking your order because I think there's a concern about how long somebody sits in the drive-through; but other than that; once you get up there they're it's fast and they're very nice people. *Worst Del Taco location in the Valley* I had a few issues. Was coming into town from up north and for whatever reason they had their lobby closed. There was a hand written sign that said drive thru only. After waiting in line for 10 mins I ordered my food. What turned out to be the Manger told me several value meals were no longer available that were still listed on the Menu. Hes response was I dont have a Allen wrench but they changed it last week. When I got to the window it was obvious he was high on meth and just got out of a long prison sentence. I noticed he overcharged me so he handed me $2.50 in cash after I paid with my card. I have a truck and trailer and it appeared that even passenger cars had trouble getting through the drive-through therefore I had no chance. Always closed before the hours posted.... Just seem to decide what day and time their going to operate.... Don't know how any restaurant can close at 8pm let alone a fast food restaurant right off the freeway!!!! If your hours could Be CONSISTENT maybe you would get better reviews and more customers... this is not the first time I've pulled up between 7:30-8:30pm And either the person still in the kitchen says their closed or there's now a new sign being put in the drive-thru...
