No, this is not Taco Bell. I personally enjoy going to this place over Taco Bell, but for some reason it just hasn't rubbed off on my kids and my wife. I think the food tastes cleaner and lighter than Taco Bell's food does, I do think everyone got so used to Taco Bell that going to this place can be a little confusing when you look at the menu but, the food here is decent. read more

Service was very slow. I saw my burrito sitting on the counter for 5 minutes until I actually got it so it was cold. Tasted good though!

Great place, clean, friendly, great food choices. Freshly made daily. The tacos were perfect with the best available cheese. The Playtos is a good deal with beans and cheese, rice and street tacos. The sauces are much hotter than taco bell, so start with the mild first. The hot is super hot and I'm usually able to handle spicy foods. The prices were very reasonable and the service was fast. I love the Chesterfield Del Taco. The chicken burritos, chicken rollers and the shrimp tacos are so fresh and delicious! I often have a hard time deciding what to get! The restaurant is so clean and the staff is very friendly. I visit there at least once a week! Way better then Taco Bell! read more

Went there for lunch today and got the meal #2 burrito, fries and a drink. I wouldn't be going back. Tried Del Taco several times and each time I got a combo meal, the fries were way too salty for my liking. So, it's back to Taco Bell for me!! read more

Del Taco is one of the best places ever. Burritos are "MWAHHHH" I love the employees there. Especially Olivia because the green glasses bring a friendly environment to the store. Honestly would give them negative stars if I could. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted with a less than pleasant staff. My boyfriend and I ordered two shrimp taco meals, I asked for nachos instead of fries with mine, he asked for a small shake instead of a fountain beverage. After explicitly saying to the cashier I wanted the taco meal, she punched a few buttons on the register, then gave me the most confused look and said, "do you want the burrito or the taco?". This should have foreshadowed negativity in the very near future. I explained to her again I wanted the taco meal, and most definitely not the burrito. We walked to the end of the counter to wait for our meals to be ready. Three people had approached the counter and ordered food a few minutes after we did. One by one, they received their meals, however, we were still waiting with empty stomachs. After about fifteen minutes of waiting, our food had finally arrived. But alas, on the plate were two tacos and a burrito. My boyfriends shake was absent. As we tried to explain the situation, one worker behind the counter seemed to be amused by our anguish, as she was laughing at me as I told them of the mistake they had made. A different staff member came to the register, and half heartedly apologized for the mix up. He looked at my boyfriend and with a smirk said, "you can eat the burrito or throw it away, I don't really care. But we will have the other tacos ready for you as soon as possible." So my boyfriend and I found a spot to set what food we had down and attempt to eat it. We were extremely disappointed upon opening the wrapper of the shrimp tacos to find they had been put together extremely sloppily. I'd even go as far to say carelessly. After waiting another ten minutes, the smirky worker finally appeared and gave us the other tacos we had ordered. He also threw a business card on the table and said "come back for one free menu item on us". My thought was: 'oh yeah I'm totally going to return here and receive terrible service for one free sloppily thrown together item from your menu'. My boyfriend and I were in great moods on the way into the restaurant, possibly the best moods we have been in in quite a while. the service at this location was impeccable. My guy was daniel, he was accompanied by a female coworker whos name sadly eludes me at the moment. But i would like del taco to know, if it wasnt for the amazing service i recieved tonight, i would likely not be here to write this review right now. i have had a very rough couple of months and just having a truly caring voice to talk to made a world of difference in my life.i greatly appreciate the professionalism and humanity of your staff. The dew is off the lily! I gave them 5 stars after my first visit when they first opened. I stopped by this AM at 6:35 and the doors to the dining room were locked! (posted opening hours - 6 AM). I knocked, but neither the manager, Julia or the cook, Madonna looked up. I used to eat breakfast here 3 times a week. Is it because they were closed on Easter and the management was to cheap to bring them in an hour early to prep the place? I went on to have breakfast at the Burger King down the road. Too bad, it used to be enjoyable, but I stop going to places that are inconsistent. Just ask McDonalds. No entry, no service - no revenue! read more
