This Del Taco used to be awesome. But the last 2 times I've been they have forgotten 3 or more items I paid for and didn't realize it until I got home. You have a 50/50 shot that you will get napkins. Today, my chicken soft taco looked pretty pathetic. But at least I got napkins. It seems as though they've done a little housekeeping with their employees. None of the same guys are working there and the service and food quality have improved. In recent years, what was one of our favorites has declined in quality so much, we will no longer support this business. My nachos grande were inedible due to way too much salt. The chicken quesadilla had very little cheese, it was literally dry and all the rest of our order from tacos to burritos tasted stale and the flavor was off. I dig this place. Seriously dig it. As far as Del Tacos go, this one sets the bar high. Why? They make their quesadillas right - not burned, not undone, but just right - melty cheese, and slightly crispy. I swear, it's hard to understand why other Del Tacos can't get this right. But they usually can't. And this place does. Also, their regular red burritos are consistently made well, and they don't skimp on lettuce like other places. Seems simple enough? It's not. I wrote this because I just can't believe that people who sell you things at Del taco don't say thank you all she was doing was talking with her friends this is the girl with the fake eyelashes and the fake fingernails that works Friday night June 3 I asked her if I could get an extra quesadilla she said nothing then went to the cash register to put it in take my money give me my change didn't say anything gave me the bags of course I had to ask for hot sauce I said can I get some hot sauce and she said oh you want more and she just grabbed grabbed her hand and didn't say which kind I wanted got home didn't have the quesadilla of course it's Del taco stand it's just very strange I can't believe a manager wouldn't see how she works and say you need to be a little more polite anyway we got home and she had not put any hot sauce in the bag after she said oh you want more with an attitude and they're always talking about getting a raise dear God try to understand them on the speaker by the menu and if you explain that you can't hear or understand there is an immediate attitude anyway bring back the old Del taco I Had to push a star just to make my review work read more

So I just went through the drive through and they got my order wrong. Again. Now I believe they are doing it on purpose. How can a "beef Del taco" turn into a combo burrito? It's your typical Del Taco, but what's great about this one is that it's open 24 hours all the time, and it's nice to have something other than burgers late at night, cuz it's just not as greasy and heavy in your stomach. The only thing you have to watch out for is inconsistency. If you're getting some nachos at 3am, just make sure to check the order, cuz the last time I did, whoever was working that night totally ripped me off. Not bad... I don't eat Del often but they got my order right, service was fast and I had a generous amount of avocado on my chicken street tacos, which were pretty good. Showed up at 10:50 after walking there. Me and a friend were quite inebriated and needed something to soak up a few shots and cocktails. A few patrons were leaving as we walked up and we tried the door - locked. The last remaining patrons inside motioned for us to try the door around the side... So we did. Locked. I have mixed feelings about this particular Del Taco. The day crew is awesome and friendly! The night crew is horribly rude and very disturbing. The lady at the register takes my order but when I get to the window she rushes me to leave without fulfilling my order completely. I believe she does this cause she likes to take what customers leave behind. The first time this happend I ordered a large drink, I received a medium drink while they gave me a death stare. The second time I ordered 3 half pound bean and cheese burritos, they made them so small, I know there only 1 but a half pound is a half pound. The third time I ordered a burrito and a shake. They gave the burrito and tried to rush me out while holding on to the shake hoping I would forget about the shake. This night crew needs to get better at the service they provide and smile more cause these death stares are unacceptable behavior coming from any business. read more

Pretty bad. They screw up my order in some manner every time. Whether if I order a fish taco and they don't give me limes, or they forget my bean and cheese burritos, or if they give me diarrhea... It's rarely tasty and it never ends well. I seriously only go here to get their prepackaged salsas. The one in San Juan Capistrano at least gives you reasonable portions too. Typical Del taco food is great after a long day and night. This line seems to be especially long though.

I usually depend on this Del Taco in the mornings, but today, I have to lump them in with the McDonald's next door sad to say. I ordered a Number 3, classic chicken burrito, an extra Del Taco, with a HOT coffee, three cream and three sugar. The girl looked like she had her sucked out of her for one... now in that regard, I have done late and over night work for almost 10 years, I know that feeling so I won't give her a hard time for that. However, no matter how tired you are, you can still tell the difference between hot and cold.The coffee cup she handed me was cold, one sip and it was depressing, I got cold, old coffee! I tried to get the girls attention, but she did not hear me, by the time she came back it was to hand me the bag and that was the end of that. The only thing even close to hot was the Fries, and they were hard, most likely been out all night or at least a few hours. Needless to say I tossed the full cup of coffee, and the fries, then went to a doughnut shop and got a proper HOT cup of coffee. I'm very disappointed in this place, it was the one hold out around this area that would get my order right in most of not all aspects. Del Taco inc.. if you read this, get better quality control and make sure what you serve the public is what they want, not a cold cup of old coffee. Hire people who actually do their job, granted fast food is a bad job, but someone who wants to do a good enough job to leave there in growth, not laziness! read more

I'm not a complainer at all - this is my second bad review in two years and coincidentally again it's Del Taco but the last review was for a different location. I'm an avid Del Taco fan - go there way too often for turkey tacos and the customer service is always good but the drive thru wait has gotten completely out of control. It's only happened in the last few months and it doesn't matter how many cars are in the drive thru - could be three or six but the wait is absolutely ridiculous for fast food. I was just there yesterday to give it one more chance and sure enough I waited for 16 minutes for two items with four cars ahead of me. Not sure if there aren't enough employees inside or what but am now going to be avoiding the long line by going somewhere else and just wanted to bring it to your attention. Thanks! read more
