I was extremely disappointed with this place, I have came 2 time recently and both times I had a very bad experience. The first time I came at 9 pm and my food took and extremely long time and did not seem fresh at all. The second time I came in at 1045 and they said they were closed for the night. I looked it up online and it said they were open until mid night. As someone who works in food I understand this can be very frustrating, when someone comes in very late, but over an hour before closing I felt was unacceptable and I was very disappointed in the restaurant, especially since they spoke to me over the speaker and said they were closed, followed by me telling them it said they were open until 12. The employee then proceeded to become very rude and say they were closed and they would not serve me. This wouldn't have been the biggest deal if they closed at 11, but since they say they close at 12, and the employee was rude I was very annoyed I can definitely say I won't be returning. read more

Booooooooo for getting rid of the Taco Burrito!!!! Best thing on the menu and now it's gone.

For months this location as been on the decline. It has been our tradition to come in for a midnight snacks after our family nights, which was slightly altered by their changing hours. (I get it though.. help is harder to find for the wee hours of the morning) What is frustrating is the hours are now listed for this location closing at 12am, and we have come MANY times before this and have been refused either service or menu items due to their grill being closed. I can certainly understand closing your grill a reasonable amount of time before closing time to allow for cleaning, however it continues to become earlier and earlier as time progresses with no rhyme or reason or signage posted for this closure. Last night we went at 9:30pm and were told their grill was already closed ... 9:30pm! I called back and asked what their closing time was (really already knowing the answer since I looked in the website, but wanting to see what I would be told) and of course got a new closing time of 11:30pm. My next question was who their store manager was.. the female employee was edging on impatience with my questions, but she answered "Maggie". I asked why their grill was closed at 9:30 pm if their store was open until 11:30pm. This question was the one that threw her off and the conversation went downhill from there. She became rude with her replies and stated she needed time to clean! Really?! It takes 2 hours to clean your grill? She replied that "she had other things to also do, so yeah, she closed the grill." I'm disbelief that this rogue employee takes it upon herself to alter store hours and close early, I asked if "Maggie" knew that she was closing the grill 2 hours early? "I dunno know" was her indifferent reply. I asked if I could speak with Maggie or manager if she was there or asked if she knew when she could be there? She replied that she was not there and didn't know when she would be but "I can call everyday if I wanted to see when she would be in" . Again, in disbelief of the lack of customer service (but I'm not even sure why my expectations are so high for an establishment such as Del Taco) I asked how could she not know when a manager would be available? She stated "Ma"am I don't know, I don't know anything, I just work here" This is a completely laughable comment which just added icing to the cake! This genius person... this is the one who is allowed to be responsible for this store following when management leaves and gets to decide when she wants to close down the grill making menu items unobtainable! If your store has listed hours of 12am then your menu item in their ENTIRETY should be available until at LEAST 11:30pm! I've also contact several members of executive management regarding this locations decline! read more

Fast food usually gets a bad rap, but I'd say 60% of my visits here are positive. The other 40% tend to be slow or I have to repeat what I said multiple times to make sure they got the right order. ("Chicken" does not sound like "beef.") Fresh ingredients for the salads, which is always a bonus. Sometimes fast food salads just sit in a fridge all day and you can kind of taste that, or see that in the sad-looking lettuce leaves. Good place to go to eat on the cheap, and they usually have coupons in the weekly mailers sent to our house. Side note: Churros and lemonade don't mix, but I have this awful habit of doing it. read more

You know, I don't think I will usually review fast food franchises but this Del Taco gets an exception in a good way. No matter what time I pop in, nor what time of line there is in front of me, I can get my food in less than 5 minutes it seems, always hot and they always ask if I want hot sauce. It's sad to say but it's a level of service rarely seen from fast food chains. So, I give it 5 stars as this particular Del Taco seems well run, and has been for all the years I have lived up the street from it. Great job and keep up the good work. read more

Normally I'm not one for fast food but I decided to stop in here on my lunch break to re-experience the Mexican-American fusion chain of my childhood. I was not disappointed. When I first walked into the store, I was greeted by a friendly and cheery guy behind the counter -- Clark was on his nametag -- and he took my order attentively. He seemed to be very customer-service oriented and interested in the overall quality of my lunch break. I could tell he really cared. One of the nicest people I've seen in a restaurant, fast food or otherwise. I ordered two half pound bean burritos -- bold, of course, where they add their signature crinkle fries and that oh-so-mysterious secret sauce I'm always craving -- and I received my food within minutes. Hot and delicious as always, it was truly a treat to eat here. While the food is similar to any other Del Taco location due to their standardisation, I can say that this store is set apart by the amazing staff. They all seem to be genuinely nice people and they are both service oriented and friendly. A really top-notch team of professionals that I've seen unparalleled in my dining experience. I think it was just as good to interact with them as it was to enjoy my food; they truly made my day. Store is incredibly clean and well-kept. Seems to be like a flagship store, the decor is modern but incredibly clean, and I can tell the store is exceptionally well-maintained. I ordered on the Del Taco app and headed to the location I chose on the app. I arrive and the lady behind the mic states to pull forward and shell take a look. I hand her the phone with my confirmation on it and she says "I didn't even know we had a Del Taco app, all I know that works here is grubhub" told me to save the order for tomorrow when her GM is there, I am starving now. I've lived in this neighborhood for more than 25 years and this is my go to spot when I don't want to cook or need a quick meal. The staff is always super nice! That being said, last night I was very disappointed. I ordered my standard combo burrito meal and when I got home to eat, it was cold. I should have known something was wrong when I pulled the condiments from the top of the bag, the fries, then another set of condiments and napkins. The burrito must have been made 30 minutes earlier. Stone cold. Hard tortilla. It was approaching 10pm and I wasn't going back. Will I go back?? Absolutely!! I go here every morning and every other night for an item of some sort. The customer service is excellent. Both day and night staff are wonderful and go over the top. Once in a while they forget to ask me if I want hot sauce but I always get it regardless. Even the drive-thru speaker lady is very nice and welcoming. I love going to this place because it's cheap good food. Were talking fast food here, so don't think that 4 stars means this is gourmet dining...it's clearly not. But, for the money and the amount of food, you can't go wrong. I love the double beef double cheese tacos, and the macho nachos are awesome. Way more cheese on the tacos here than Taco Bell.
