The worst experience I have had at a fast food restaurant. I had never been to a Del Taco, being new to the west coast. The cashier couldn't figure out how to count my change back, they gave me my order completely wrong. My daughter wanted a green Goosebumps bag with her kids meal and the girl said she only had blue. There was a kid with a green one we pointed out and she huffed and went to the back and came back with every color so lied/ lazy about restocking. We noticed another kid leaving crying before us who had wanted a color other than blue also. I ordered a chicken taco and a spicy chicken burrito, I received a beef Taco and I am not sure what the burrito was but it wasn't the spicy chicken. I had to wait in line behind the other 3 people that had their orders screwed up also. My Taco was fixed but they argued with me that my burrito was correct so I had to keep it. On top of this the manager wouldn't acknowledge any of the customers that had their order messed up and no apology was offered for all the mistakes, he was just staring off into space. I went to throw my trash in the receptacle and their was no trash can in it. Full of trash on the floor inside. Leaving outside there were several trash bags stacked up just sitting there, nobody cleaning up outside. Not exactly the way to make a first impression, guess I will go to Taco Bell next time at least they offer friendly service. read more

This Del Taco is now my favorite Del Taco in the area. Why? Because they have one of those new soda machines that have over 100 flavors! it's totally awesome and makes driving the extra 10 minutes past the closest Del Taco worth it. Besides that, this is a Del Taco restaurant. Nothing short of that, and as I could say for every Del Taco I've been to, I love their fries, and their tacos and burritos are wonderful. nothing to complain about. excellent experience. especially trying all the different flavors. took a while, but it was done! read more

Email and I hit savers for a minute then the homie was like let's get del. Popped open the Yelp app and hit the closest del. Both us being vegan means we want our food cooked with no animals or animal products. Home girl at the front killed it proper and our food came out out perfect. Parking was sick. So many spots. C'mon people , grilled chicken tacos are the best . They even have wi fi at this location , so bring your device if alone . Prices are okay , service is good . Every time my husband orders a hard shell taco for our son, it falls apart and it's cold. We live right down the street btw, so it shouldn't be cold or falling apart. The other items that he orders are either missing or we are charged for something we did not order. This location is a joke in the morning. I tried on 4 different occasions to get breakfast there. All between the hours of 6am and 7:30am. First time, nobody was there at all. The second time, only one guy was there doing everything by himself so he had the dining room locked. Sorry but I really don't want the guy touching money to handle my food. It wasn't his fault, there just wasn't anyone to help him. The next time there wasn't anyone there at all. The 4th time there was nobody there so I grabbed food next door at Carl's Jr. When I was leaving, I saw a girl that works at Del Taco sweeping up trash in the parking lot. Are you open 24 hours or not? I'm so disappointed in the person that manages this location. If you go here, don't use your debit card. I did (in the drive-through). It seemed like it took the cashier a little too long to swipe my card, but thought everything was okay. I even asked her what was going on and she gave me double-talk. The next day I checked my account, and saw that she charged me for my order (less than $5.00) and also charged me for someone else's food (probably a friend of hers in the place) - another $12 charge! I had to call my bank to get it taken care of. I also called Del Taco 800 number to report it. The Del Taco manager called me back, apologized (probably because HQ told him to), but he wasn't sincere sounding. I don't trust this place, neither should you. Honestly I don't know how anyone can say this place is always on point with the orders unless you order exactly off the menu. I'd say 8-10 times we go there there's always something wrong. My kids don't like lettuce in their food, or we order sour cream etc. and unless I stand right at the counter watching, its wrong. Saturday my wife went there and used my CC, they shorted her fries with her combo plus, checking my account activity they charged her twice. This is the second time this has happened. Last time the manager treated me as if I were lying and trying to rip them off, once she found the issue she just handed me the money without a apology or anything. I have made complaints in the past and still haven't heard anything from corporate. Now the cashiers/ managers its a toss up, they're either helpful or useless. Its not my fault you don like your job but because of us, you have one. With that being said, were suckers for Del Taco and hope we get what we order from there just as we order it because the food is great. The place is clean, and the fountain is the best part of the experience. I give 3 stars because yes I have had better but when they get it right, its great. read more
