Love this location, Tammy who works at night has the best customer service and is very friendly

I love this location for many reasons but my number one reason is the lady (Tammy?) who works the graveyard shift. She is PHENOMENAL. Her happy, go lucky spirit is uplifting and heart warming. She greets every customer with the best attitude. I can't say enough about this woman. She loves her job and loves her customer even more. read more

I didn't have the experience that reviewer Ashleigh Q. did... I actually had fast and friendly service when I came here one evening. The dude even seemed like he cared about his job.. he would linger on the "del" part when saying del taco: "Welcome to Delll Taco!" If you like simple but tasty Mexican fast food, Del Taco will meet your needs. Yes, I am a regular. My favorites are the bean and cheese burrito, breakfast bacon and egg quesadilla meal. I was recently in Pasadena at an expensive Mexican restaurant. After I doled out $50 for lunch, I expressed to my wife, "I like the food at Del Taco better." So this is the closest Del Taco to my house I'm sad to say. I normally really like Del Taco... but not this location. I don't know why, but every time my bf and I try going here again we find out why it still sucks and we should just stick to the Taco Bell down the street which is a million times better, even if I have to wait longer. We live less than 5 minutes from our house, but by the time we get home our food is ALWAYS soggy & cold and falling apart... and it just never tastes right. So... I frequently have no choice but to dine out. Usually I have a bland experience with mediocre average food, however tonight I was in for a pleasant experience. The staff at this Del Taco should be teaching other restaurants how to interact and prepare food for the general public. I'm giving this place a good review because all the other Del Taco's I have been to, especially the other ones in the area are horrible because they are always messing up my order. I usually go through the drive-thru at night, there is usually no line. They always get my order correct and have good service! If I could give this location a -5 stars I would. I woke up a little early today and watched some news, when a Del Taco breakfast commercial came on and I saw a chorizo 1/2 pound burrito. It was love at first site, I must leave for work early and get me not one, but two of these tastey looking burritos. I arrive at 5:50 am and declare to the fast food speaker lady that I want 2 of these majestical burritos. When she rudely replies "we don't serve breakfast until 6!" I look at the clock (showing 5:51 am) I think to myself "is this an Adam Sandler movie right now???" No! It's not, this is real life! You are freaking serious right now? Jack In The Box can make breakfast 24/7 but u can't make me 2 breakfast burritos 9 minutes early??? For real? You done goofed big time Del Taco! Hey Del Taco....some things should NOT be messed with. Never have I seen a taco salad that was not served in a nice crispy tortilla shell. I was in recently and ordered my favorite taco salad, and it has undergone this horrible transformation...Nasty black beans, little meat, ingredients plopped here and there like that "other" taco place does instead of spread out , and NO SHELL. I asked about it and I believe it was the manager or shift supervisor who told me they had changed it to "make it more healthy"....GUESS WHAT, Del Taco.....Nobody goes to Del Taco to eat healthy!!! Called a few places tonight looking for anyone that's open, on Thanksgiving, after midnight. Tammy is an absolute gem!
