Riding my motorcycle and I just got off the 405 freeway looking for a snack. This place is just off the busy highway in a strip mall shared with Denny's restaurant and a few other businesses. So there's plenty of empty shared parking spaces. There's also four permanent outdoor tables with umbrellas for outdoor dining. Typical Del Taco menu. Good place to stock up on eats before heading to the beach. The Seal Beach pier is closeby, Bolsa Chica and Huntington Beach are just a short drive away. This place is convenient. read more

This may seem like an odd thing to point out. But the drive through of this del taco is in the shade for the most part. So if the guy in front of you has a super huge order and you are stuck waiting behind him, you can chill out in the shade of the overlying trees watching the leaves blow in the wind. Also, it's pretty close to the 405 freeway so you can grab something to eat on your way if you are in for a drive. Food is what you would expect from a del taco. read more

There were four quesadillas and by the time I got to number four I had honestly gotten a bit bored with them even though they were good. I'd probably order something else if I were to return. You know the feeling. :) As the heat from the pizza is slowly released into the car, the first thing that i notice is that it did not smell much like the smell that you would expect from a hot pizza. It was honestly a smell that i cannot really describe. Maybe that of the cardboard box. At this point the anticipation quickly faded and turned into mere curiosity. I get home, i sit in front of the Tv, i open the box. The pizza looked good and at this point it was just warm and the smell had faded. I grab a slice, take a couple of bites and here is my take.. Although the dough was chewy and had no taste other than salt, i did not mind it because i do like doughy, salty bread in general. However, if you've ever had vegan cheese. That's what the cheese tasted like. When melted, it tends to be gooey and sticky. It can be Very much off-putting if not combined properly with the other ingredients. The mushrooms did not have any flavor and the canned pineapple was maybe the saving grace as the sweetness along with the saltiness of the dough disguised the rest of this disaster. We finally got our order back home, and they still gave us some incorrect shrimp tacos. I specifically asked for grilled because I'm gluten free and it's a corn tortilla. All in all, over the phone and in person, the lady never said sorry once. When my boyfriend went in person, they acted like we were inconveniencing them and gave him an attitude. There was no discount on their mess up, no extra food thrown in, NO APOLOGY, nothing but attitude at us. The food is good, but this isn't the first time this place has messed up our order and had terrible customer service. Last time we eat here.
