Ok I love Acapulco and I have yet to come to this location. This location architecture is def different from the others ones. It's on the water and has outside patio seating. I also love that they have even an upstairs. It's a great ambiance for sure! The service was a lil rocky once we arrived because it took around 15 minute for a hostess to come. However, we told the manager David and he accommodated us. He's been working for Acalpulco for years and it was good to see him again. For our food I got the ACA protein bowl . It was very tasty and I had no complaints!! My friend food was wrong but they fixed it and made it correct. I love this Acapulco and I will be back!! It's seems like this location is very diverse and busy on Sundays for their brunch. Plenty of parking in the lot as well. -Marshay D.

We stopped in for drinks and appetizers. We always love the view of the water whether seated inside or outside. The table side guacamole was good and so were the buffalo wings. The drinks however were nothing short of sweet water. All nine people at our table had the same complaint from margaritas to the lemon drops. Thankfully, the manager came to our table and made the drinks again. They were much better. Overall a good experience but not the place to go for a good drink.

Beans, rice, guac, sour cream, pico and a special sauce. Yum!

We've eaten here several times and somehow never left a review, so it's definitely overdue! Today we ordered the trio fajitas with shrimp, steak, and chicken, and every bite was incredible. The real highlight was Edgar, who fired everything up tableside and made the whole experience so much fun. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely hilarious, which made an already great meal even better. We're already looking forward to coming back for Sunday brunch!

Shared gigante fajita -- the beef-shrimp-chicken in onion and bell pepper was excellent! Loved the open windows opening to the marina.

Updated Review 2026 Was greeted and seated. Went here for happy Hour. Ordered a pitcher of Margarita, chicken wings and enchiladas. Our waitress was nice and professional. She provided us waters and chips. No complaints on our waitress, she provided excellent service. I do have a problem with the wings they provided. They were TINY!!! Taste was just Meh, nothing extravagant or impressive. Enchiladas were good. Rule of thumb, you go to a Mexican Restaurant to order Mexican food, not chicken wings! Next time I will stick to Mexican food. Lol. Now I know. Good ambiance and good experience this time around. Mexican food is good and service was great! Plenty of parking. Margarita pitchers is $20 only on Fridays! We learned that on a Thursday. Lol I would definitely come back!

Love the views, food and hospitality. Happy hour is a hit.. the Cadillac margaritas are my favorite. Best spot is out side on the patio. Edgar our server was so attentive. Definitely coming back for another margarita and fajitas!

I have been to Acapulco many times but this was the worst in terms of food and service. Super slow service. Had to tell staff several times that we were ready to order. Didn't get chips and salsa till we had ordered and we had no drinks for a while. I tried the new salmon bowl and wish I hadn't. Really odd flavor.

Came here for a baby shower. It's a beautiful location, right at the marina and there is marina views for seating. The ambiance is festive and calming with the beautiful view. We were placed in the banquet room on the 2nd floor and the event had private servers from the restaurant. They were very friendly and moved quickly. I have no complaints about the service. I was not happy with the food. The steak/Asada was extremely salty. I could not finish my tacos because even with the guac, sour cream, lettuce, and cheese burritos didn't- I couldn't cut past the salt. The beans were ok. They were creamy and had flavor. The cheese enchiladas lacked flavor and cheese was congealed to the tortillas. I was not a fan. The salsa was ok but the chips were stale so I didn't eat it. The flan was delicious but I prefer it chilled and they had it sitting out. Overall, it was underwhelming and I wouldn't eat here again. I gave them 3 stars because of the service!

We are diehard burrito and fajita lovers, but wanted something a little different, lighter for our early dinner this time. Hubby opted for their taco bar. I had read good things about their Seafood Trio, so I gave it a try. We sat inside since the weather was a little windy and chilly, but I love that view of the marina. The manager who seated us was excellent, pleasant and conversational. I commented on the bright, fun artwork throughout the restaurant and feeling festive. He suggested going upstairs to look at their banquet room. We had never seen it before! It was very cool. The server was upbeat and lively and brought chips and salsa to the table right away, Salsa was good, but the chips were salted- I'm not used to that. I couldn't eat more than a couple. I guess it encourages more cocktails!! She suggested starting with three tacos from the taco bar and printed a ticket for my hubby to present to the young lady manning the taco bar. At $3 a taco, it was a good deal. It was fun watching her prepare and grill the mini tortillas. taco. After a little confusion about how it worked (due to us not speaking any Spanish and she not understanding or speaking any English) hubby figured out that she served the meat onto the tortillas and then he could load on the other ingredients. Hubby chose two fried cod and one carnitas. He added cilantro, beans, onions and cheese, plus a little hot sauce that was not very spicy. The fish tacos were okay, but the carnitas taco was outstanding!! He had asked her for a little extra gravy on it from the pork pot, but she only smiled. Communication gap! One other thing hubby noted was that since he was the only one in line at the time, his portions were served from the top of the bowls of meat; they might have stayed hotter if covered. By the time he got his plate to the table the tacos were not even warm. My seafood plate was very attractive. I would have loved a couple more shrimp (who wouldn't!?), but the three items went well together. Salmon was cooked nicely, too. I would have liked more enchilada sauce, though, since the ramekin of mystery sauce served on the side tasted rancid. We could not tell what it was and the server didn't know the ingredients, either. Other than that it was a delicious plate of food. We will probably stick to our burritos and fajitas but it was worth giving the other menu items a try. They usually have a promotion or two happening, and as a rewards club member you get a complementary entrée on your birthday! Great deal!

My daughter and I came here for brunch today. First timer and I really enjoyed it. Food was hot and very tasty. Omelette station was a little bit slow but not bad. Server was Al's a little slow but I don't blame him since there were so many people dining. Food selections were enchiladas, tacos station, carnes in chile, desserts, and drinks. Although I enjoyed my food I would have liked a better selection. I eat this type of food because I cook it. So other items would have been great! Kinda pricey for what there is. $40 pp.

We ordered caramelos with the poblanos inside, as well as their horchata. Tortillas are some of the best I've had. Super soft and flavorful from the grill. The fillings and salsa were good too, but it was really wet, and the bean ratio especially compared to the meat, was a little off. Always am going to want more meat. Horchata was unique since it was coconut based. Overall solid spot with patient staff. Tacos La Rueda is still better, but will be back when in Long Beach.

It's normally taco Tuesday or dinner. It wasn't busy when we arrived. Mainly everyone was seated outside which we wanted a table as well. There was one that we were interested in and asked if we could have it which the waitress working was ok with. But it needed clearing up. It took a while for someone to come out and clear and clean the table up. It was fine waiting but it was like did someone forget about us. Anyways. We got seated and then the waiting continued. It could be that they were short staff but it seemed like there was only one person working. It took a while for someone to finally come back and acknowledge us and take our order. After that the chips and salsa were brought out. Once we ordered the drinks it was easier to place everything together. Menu for happy hour is pretty limited. A few drinks and beer on drafts and for food, maybe 6 items on the menu. Went with an order of the street corn which was quite tasty. An order of the mole chicken nachos and the queso dip with barria. Out of the three, the queso dips and the street corn were great. Nachos were good but nothing really major. The flavors of everything were quite tasty. Dishes were 12.00 an item. For happy hour, it was decent and what we had was good. The service was pretty slow at the beginning. The soup here lacks the tastebud awakening zip that Don Chato's has. The ono fish taco experience was my fault... I hate fried fish taco, so I had lofty expectations, but due to the fact that I do not prefer corn tortillas, guacamole or raw onions, led to much disappointment since It has all three. Totally my fault. The butternut enchilada was lacking in the expected savoriness... this is being polite. The potato taquito was okay... but I am not a taquito person, so if you are I would seriously encourage you to try it. The star of the table was the Mexican corn. It may not compete with Cornman in Lincoln Heights, but it was decent. I scraped off the onions and toppings on the ono tacos, put the fish on the flour tortillas that another person didn't want, and topped the fish with refried beans, street corn and a but if the chicken tortilla soup broth to make due. When you are driving more than 30 minutes for this experience, I think you would agree that it was less that a proper way to celebrate a birthday. Oh and if there isn't any street parking. It'll cost you about 9 bucks in the lot. I didn't use the restroom, so I cant review its cleanliness. Our waitress was flawless taking orders and delivering food The restaurant itself has a great layout and an outdoor courtyard complete with propane heaters and umbrellas - I loved that... but my favorite part was out front, no not the seating area in the former parking spaces, nope... it was the collapsed woman on the sidewalk, walking her dog with snot running out of her nose because she was huffing some aerosol can of whatever. This truly set the mood upon arrival. Two stars for being close to a lot of other food choices to visit afterward.

Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal, super friendly and anticipating all of our needs (water refills, leftover containers, etc.). Service overall by all staff was friendly. We were actually presently surprised with the taste of the food, thinking it might be more Americanized but they actually had very authentic and tasty totopos (tortilla chips). The tomato salsa that came with the chips was also very refreshing. We asked for hot sauce too and the house habanero salsa really packed a punch! We ordered carne asada nachos, pork belly chilaquiles (from the brunch menu), a breakfast burrito, poke, and steamed clams. The steamed clams came in a rich tomato broth and the breakfast burrito was massive. The poke was just okay and the chilaquiles a bit too soggy for me, and the carne asada nachos a bit dry. Nonetheless, presentation and portion sizes were respectable. The last comment is that food here is quite pricey but that reflects the likely high rent of a restaurant in 2nd and PCH. Great location, shoreline village. View of the boats, relaxing and on a Sunday, it's hard to beat…read morethe atmosphere. So I ordered a Bloody Mary and their Version is extremely sweet. So I had to return it . I the ordered a Coronita Margarita and that is/was tasty. They do have many different offerings of tequilas. And honestly fairly priced. I started with the Fondido de queso basically a Chorizo fondue. It was very good, only the chips were stale. Not all the chips so just so you know, I ordered the chicken mole enchiladas. The service has been very accommodating. The flavor from the mole was perfect, smooth rich a touch of heat and chocolate. Very flavorful and with the sides of black beans and rice, a tasty pairing. There is side of sweet corn , completing the plate. Great dish. I arrived at 1130 which apparently was the best time. By noon the place was packed and jumping. TVs for the games and plenty of room, so not so crowded despite the amount of people. Great place for a date , or family/friends gathering.

What an awful Tourist Trap. This is a place that once you come one, you will never return - and…read more the level of service and quality of food reflects that management knowledge. First interaction: They advertise a Happy Hour on M-F from 5-6 PM We had this interaction with a server in the bar. "Can we get an order in before Happy Hour is up?" Server "Of course. (Looking at phone the time on their phone). What would you like?" We order. Drinks are brought over along with the check for full price drinks. Me "Can you please fix this check? It's not 6 yet and you are still on Happy Hour, that's why we rushed over." Server "Oh yeah, today we don't have Happy Hour so there is no discount." Me "What so you mean, we ordered these drinks on Happy Hour and now you are telling us there is no Happy Hour as advertised." Server: "Well, we don't do Happy Hour when there is an event in the area, so they are full price." Second interaction (after waiting 45 minutes for a table in the restaurant). We ordered the "made to order table side guac" for 15.50 for an appetizer. About 10 minutes later, a guac is delivered to the table that was either run through a blender or was taken from a tub with a spoonful of pico mixed in. So much for the advertised table side experience or fresh avocado. The guac we buy at Trader Joe's and from Costco are way better. Third Interaction when ordering an entree. I order enchiladas and they have red or green sauce. I ask, Can I get both red sauce on one and green sauce on the other? Response, "well there's an extra charge for that". Besides being lied to about "Happy Hour" and about the "Table-side" Guac and them being told a basic request is going to cost extra, it's is c extremely clear that this place has no respect for their customers and no expectation that anyone will return. I know the 6 local people in our group will never return.
