This location is cleaner than most fast food restaurants and also accommodate to special requests very well. I asked for a del beef with cheese and instead of asking me if I wanted another menu item, Matt just let me know that it would be an extra .50 each. I appreciate a customer service rep, regardless of position that can assume that I'm aware of other available items when I special order something. Every visit, I looked at the price by their door and wondered when they were going to increase the price for Taco Tuesday since it seems forever that they had 3 tacos for $1.29. Finally, Taco Tuesday has gone up to $1.49 for 3 tacos. Still a great deal though and still would recommend it to any family with kids for cheap dinner. read more

There isn't exactly a wide variety of Del Taco's in the Glendale area, so when I'm working I tend to visit this Del Taco. After yesterdays experience I don't know if I should just end my Del Taco love affair now, or should I go to one of the other two Del Taco's in Glendale that are not by my place, which are just as bad. I ordered the fiesta pack because hubby and I wanted to indulge in the goodness of burritos and tacos, 6 of each for only 9 bucks. That's a better deal than the 10 tacos for 10 bucks deal at taco bell by far. In any case, I requested beans in the tacos instead of meat, you know, that vegetarian thing we have going. He said that he couldn't do that, I'd have to spend more on other tacos. Okay, let me repeat myself a second time, this time slowly so you can understand. Clearly the guy that was working inside at the time with him told him that it was okay, just a quick switch to beans because I got my fiesta pack 15 minutes later (yes, I held up an entire line because this guy didn't understand what I was saying). The best part was at the end when he gave me a ridiculous smile and asked if I wanted hot sauce. I said yes, lots of Del Scorcho please. Well, in the bag was 4 whole packs of Del Scorcho sauce. Del Taco is better than Taco Bell in my opinion. The food seems a bit fresher and cheaper. I go through the drive thru and have not had much issues. Just be careful with the curb when pulling out of the drive way. It can get a bit hairy. read more

So, I work on an ambulance and come here every so often. Some staff are great but lately the staff has been horrible. Our ambulance is too big to fit through the drive through. So we attempted to walk in (online as well as signs state they are open for takeout). Welp, the doors were locked and an employee yells through the door. Sorry we can't help you... like really I'm in full uniform working 24 hour shifts responding to a multitude of emergencies and you can't take my order.... That is horrible service especially in times of a pandemic where I actually risk my life as compared to those asking for a pay boost to stand 6 feet away from someone while I have to enter confirmed patients homes. Call me weird, but I miss this Del Taco. I grew up walking distance from it. I don't miss it because of nostalgia, but because I compare it to all the other Del Tacos I go to, and they just don't taste as good. Here's the deal. I don't give a rip about other fast food. I grew up in a family that NEVER went out to eat. We would occasionally get Del Taco as a treat (like on Halloween night after Trick or Treating). Dear reader, you must understand my deep emotional connection and familial nostalgia for Del Taco. I don't eat out now (as a part of my healthy new lifestyle) but on occasion, I love me some Del Taco and a bucket load of Del Scorcho sauce. It is my vice, it is my love. We moved to La Crescenta in March. I was stoked that there was a Del Taco literally down the street from our house. Here's the problem: In the few times I have gone here, they have never managed to get an order correct. They are rude. They do not care what you say over the speaker, they will give you what they want to. Not what you want them to. This is sad. This is practically a tragedy for a woman who loves Del Taco. So I ordered a number 9 combo. And asked for a strawberry lemonade instead of a soda. Sandra said let me check and see if they charged you for it. Well it comes with the mill and they gave me a small cup that you buy the strawberry lemonade in from the dollar menu. I asked for the regular size cup that the meal comes with with the strawberry lemonade in it. She did not want to give it to me like that she looked at me funny. I asked for the lemonade in the regular size cup and also told her that they did not give me my vanilla shake that I ordered for my son. She said they did not charge me for it and I remarked with a bad word in my sentence I believe it was the s word. She said that she is not serving me because I said that so I asked for my refund for my Meal and she refused to give it to me. I will be following up with the manager Jose. Walked into this Del last week and was greeted with a happy and welcoming attitude, a surprising change from my previous visits. I was told the new owner and management team are all about customer satisfaction. I tried the new fajita Epic burrito which has lots of flavor and is a good size. The place is kept clean and looks better than before. I've been a long time fan of the Del Taco menu, and finally this location looks like will be one of the better ones. read more

I like this Del Taco. Sure, it's a fast food place, but as fast food places go, Del Taco is one of my favorites. There are better ones, but this one is pretty close to where i live and it's still pretty good. Some of the cheapest tacos i've seen around when you go there on Tuesday. if you sit at a booth or table facing foothill, there's a nice view of the hills. del taco's crinkle fries are some of the best. when i dine at the restaurant, the service is top-notch, and the food is delivered to my table. the drive thru is sometimes slow, but at least the line isn't as long as in-n-out's! read more
