They had two kiosk order machines so that helps avoiding the line. Ordered a salad from them last time and it was good. This time I went for their $10 dollar habit meal and I definitely recommend! Sure, they offered a refund but, we needed the food! How are you going to fix that? You should eat the cost of delivering the missing items. Delivery fail. Really disappointed with the service from GM Gadiel Hernandez. Unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. Instead of worrying about a water bottle my 6-year-old briefly picked up to hand me, he should be more concerned about the dirty, sticky floors and uncleared tables on a Saturday afternoon. On a hot summer day, as I was ordering, my son picked up an Aquafina bottle at the counter and gave it to me. I told him to put it back since I planned to order drinks. As he did, Gadiel loudly told my son, "These waters are for customers only; don't touch them." His tone was harsh and completely unnecessary. When I later mentioned that my son is also a customer and his approach wasn't appropriate, he got defensive, told me I need to "discipline" my child, and claimed only employees can touch bottles due to cross-contamination. Other customers actually stepped in because his behavior was so out of line. I've been to this Habit many times, but this was the first time I left feeling humiliated. If the GM treats customers this way, I can only imagine how he treats staff. Be cautious if you bring kids here when Gadiel is on duty. read more

Placed an order online and once I got there I had a notification that my order was ready but the store had a paper sign that read "temporary closed" and everywhere online said it was open normal hours then after standing there a worker came out and said they're only doing online orders and they're working on mine even after it said my food was ready so I waited an extra 20min on top of my online order wait time just for 2 burgers and fries and I was the first order of the day not sure what's going on there read more

Another visit to the La Canada Habit is another opportunity for me to take photos of a dog in the restaurant. I have quite a collection of photos of different breeds of dogs in this restaurant. Again, there appears to be no one in charge and bringing a pet into this Habit is completely acceptable. I just wonder what other health code violations are ignored by staff regardless of what the sign on the door indicates. I don't need a bot response saying I will get a DM. The lady cashier at 6:15pm was extremely rude to my father. She treated us as she had an entire line of people when it was a very slow Monday afternoon. There was only one more person behind us. As my dad was ordering the meals, she spoke in a tone to rush him. She even got the order wrong when we specifically said we only wanted 2 drinks but I had to call her out because the machine said we were being charged for 3. Finally as he was going to pay with a $100 bill she sternly said, "we don't accept that". I looked around the store and did not see a single sign that said $100 bills weren't accepted. We have been going to this place since it opened but the service has gone extremely downhill since. read more

I come to this Habit often, and the food and service are usually great. This time, I felt compelled to leave a review because the customer service was exceptional. There was a small mix-up with my order. My salad came with chicken even though I had asked for no chicken (it happens!). I explained the issue to Justin, and he immediately brought me a new salad without any hassle. He also stopped by our table to make sure everything was okay and even cleared our trays at the end of the meal, which I really appreciated. I'm writing to share a very disappointing experience we had at your La Cañada, California location on Tuesday, June 17. We ordered the Miso Salad and a Char burger. The burger was good, but unfortunately Miso salad did not meet our expectations--it was frankly unpleasant. However, what stood out even more was the poor customer service we received. When I asked for a cup for water, I'm not sure what the staff thought I was requesting, but the person handling the orders began laughing and said something to the kitchen staff. Shortly after, several employees began laughing and appeared to be mocking me. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, and I left feeling disrespected. This kind of behavior is not what we expect from a place we've enjoyed in the past, and it certainly discourages us from returning. I hope you'll take this feedback seriously and address it with the staff involved so that no other customer has to feel this way. read more

I really like their non-burger sandwiches: the grilled chicken club, the ahi and especially the tri-tip are my go-tos. Their tempura green beans are a nice substitute for fries. Tonight I had the chicken club and a side salad. The food was pretty tasty but the edges of the chicken were burned and even with the guacamole that comes standard on the sandwich, it was on the dry side. This is to rate the staff Fernanda who was rude and not very friendly. I ordered food for to go for my kids. I decided to order at the counter and not use the kiosk because I wanted to upgrade my sandwich to a meal, which was not available in the kiosk. The guy that took my order was very nice and accommodating. Wait time for my order was pretty decent. I requested for cup holder and fernanda looked pissed that I asked for one. I missed to double check how many fries were in the bag, figured it was with my sandwich. When I got home, I found that I was missing the large fries that was part of my sandwich meal. My husband decided to just go back and grab the fries. I had him take the bag and receipt to show them. Kids were really hungry so of course I had to have them eat. When my husband told them about the missing large fries Fernanda was asking for the rest of the order, she was so rude and made it seem like my husband was trying to scam them for a free large fries. My goodness! She did give fries however in a very rude manner! I don't know if she was having a bad day but either way, it was their fault for giving me an incomplete order! I really hope if Fernanda was having a bad day, she probably should've called out and stayed home. Paying customers don't deserve such attitude from people like her. I would've understood if we were asking for too much, but it was food we paid for that they forgot to put in our order.
