The beer they brew is delicious, I had the Pomegranate Ale and the 8 Malt Stout. The pizza didn't deliver. It was a softer doughy crust and wasn't crispy. Delafield Brewhaus is a pretty standard bar and grill type of place. The pizza here is particularly good, which I was a bit surprised by. Deep fried cheese curds are decent. I really enjoyed their beer flight which lets you sample various house brews. They also have a seasonal fruit beer which is different and refreshing. When I went it was blueberry, and I was surprised at how fruity it was. Not quite the level of a sour beer or lambic, but slightly more than a cider. We've eaten at Delafield Brewhouse a few times with generally good outcomes. Their salads are extremely well done, a work of art visually as well as delicious and generously portioned. Sandwiches and burgers are very good, and although I have not made it around the menu to pizza, the stone fire oven in the dining room makes me want to come back and try a pie. They also have plenty of German influenced items on the menu. So at least 4-1/2 if not 5 stars for food. Service is spotty, it has ranged from average to chaos in my experience. I haven't sat at the bar but it is one of the nicer looking bars in the area. All in all if you hit a time when service is decent, it is a good place to go. Update September 24, 2016... we finally tried the pizza here, and I highly recommend it. Excellent crust, quality toppings. My husband and I stopped by late one Wednesday night. Our server was attentive (however, I'm pretty sure we were one of two tables) We got the special Asiago Artichoke dip with Jalapenos- it was AMAZING! My husband got the all you can eat pasta bar and loved it. We enjoyed the beer too. I got the Mediterranean Cove Salad and was underwhelmed. Went there this evening for a 5 course beer pairing dinner. There new (relatively) chef did an awesome job presenting a super meal matched to the Brewmasters beers. The service here was excellent. We were seated right away and the waitress kept our glasses full. The food was a bit over priced for the quality in my opinion. It wasn't bad food by any means, but it wasn't amazing either. The kid's menu had quite a variety of items (my daughter had the spaghetti). The staff were wonderful. The food not so much. Don't try the "special" prime steak sandwich. It looks like dog food, ground beef in cream cheese sauce. In our time of need the Delafield Brewhouse came through for our family. A quickly planned funeral and many out of town family members left us 36 hours to find a place for 50 people to gather and enjoy a Friday fish fry. Tricia was amazing and was able to set us up in the banquet room and take on the challenge. Our hostesses for the evening, Kelly & Marcia were wonderful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The food was spectacular and service outstanding. Have been here several times, decent service and food in the past. Arrived today hoping to have cocktails and appetizers on the patio, around 3:30 p.m. Asking to sit on the patio we were "grilled," not asked, as to what we would be doing...."just drinking? then have to sit at table with no umbrella, eating? then can sit at table with umbrella." There were 2 people on the patio! We chose the table with the umbrella. We waited over 5 minutes for a server, I went in to order from the bar, was told someone would come out. She finally did, took our drink order and we ordered soup. Drinks arrived, then soup arrived....no spoon. Went in to find spoons. Apparently soup is not enough food to order to get the umbrella table, on an almost empty patio, cause server was NOT friendly and asked several times if we were ready to order. Finished our soup and drinks, in a hurry to go cause now 2 more customers came out and there were only 10 empty tables with umbrellas! We did not feel at all welcome.....won't be back. read more

The food was decent. Sampler platters wasn't the run of the mill, out of the freezer isle, sampler, but was real cheese curds in homemade batter. The atmosphere was beautiful; however, it was so fricken hot that I was literally sweating. Service what okay. She did the basics of her job and that was it. No checking to make sure we had everything we needed or if we need refills. Their beer was the biggest disappointment. I got their sampler beers and a glass of their stout... Even their stout lacked flavor and everything had too much carbonation. I have no idea how they won so many prizes! Enjoyed a nice lunch today with my sister and nieces. Our waitress was fantastic! Very patient and accommodating with the three children. We began with the pretzel appetizer. It came with 2 nice sized soft pretzels and a dipping sauce that was so tasty we could have eaten with a spoon. I was really hungry for wings so I tried the buffalo and bbq wings. They were not bad, I just prefer wings without a heavy bread coating. The flavor was very good. The buffalo wings came with a side of blue cheese dressing and since I ordered half-and-half and got barbecue as well, I also got a ranch dressing on the side and some delicious celery sticks. I also ordered a cup of their baked French onion soup which was amazing! My sister ordered an fantastic burger that had bacon and onion rings on it. It was prepared perfectly to her liking. Out stop here was a pleasant one, the beer was kinda average, the food was pretty good, but maybe the best part was a flight of beers and two full entrees and we were out the door (minus tip) for around $35. So, will definitely try this place again, but hope we can find a couple beers we are more jazzed about next time. read more

This is a review of the food only as I was there for a special event. The beer selection was great. The food was meh. I had the fish and chips and they were not good by my standards. The breading on the fish was too thick and the actual fish did not seem like the best quality. The good news was that it was a huge portion. I went here with a group of 7 and received decent service from a friendly woman. However, the food here is awful. One of my friends and I ordered their special, pulled rib burrito, and it didn't not turn out well for either of us. I took two bites and spit out the second one in disgust. This was the second time in my life I have ever returned food but I just could not bare to consume it. He ate his and ended up sick later in the day. Decided to stop in with a few friends on a Tuesday evening. Hostess was a bit rude but nothing too bad. Once seated, our waitress was very nice and positive and always smiling! I do not remember her name. Took our order and got our 3 appetizers out in less than 10 minutes! Fantastic! We got fried pickles, Asiago artichoke dip, and French onion soup. All were fantastic! The soup must have something different than the tradition French onion I'm used to, but still great! The dip came with a delicious cheese bread loaf that I ate just by itself! We recently used them for our wedding reception and my family and his had nothing but good things to stay about Delafield Brewhaus; I even had family members consider using them for their wedding receptions! Trish and the staff were really easy to work with. The were very flexible and quickly answered any questions I had (table size, table cloth color, gift table size, etc.). They made recommendations on reception setup but were willing to change things to your requests (we had our cake in the center of the dance floor, it looked amazing). Also, Trish did an amazing job setting up the tables and the food was amazing. We had 120 guests, which I thought was the perfect size for the venue. I would highly highly recommend! read more
