I first came to Delaire Dental to see Dr. Lee for the invisalign treatment. Since then, I've also had tooth extraction, cleaning, and fillings done. Dr. Lee is always very meticulous, gentle, and patient. I didn't have to fear going to the dentist anymore since I found Delaire! Invisalign - The treatment has been very pleasant and a lot easier than I had anticipated. Dr. Lee monitors the progress carefully and always takes time to listen to my questions and offers insightful, helpful advice. I can't wait to see the finished result as it is already making a huge difference on my smile! The practice is contemporary with the state of the art equipments, very clean and relaxing. Dr. Lee's patient room has windows that look out to the Empire State Building, a TV, and a massage chair - nice amenities are such a bonus. I never had to wait when I arrive at my appointment. I highly recommend Delaire Dental and Dr. Lee! I was referred to Dr. Lee for osseous surgery and had an amazing experience from beginning to end. 1) Dr. Lee was really nice and made the surgery painless - literally. I never felt even an ounce of pain, from the very beginning fo my surgery to the end of recovery. I also really appreciated Dr. Lee's bedside manner, in that he always let me know what he was going to do during the surgery before he did it, and what I should expect. (I hate when dentists just grab a new tool and start hacking away without any warning). 2) The front desk staff is amazing, too. They're all super nice and made the billing process easy. 3) I felt like Dr. Lee and the whole Delaire Dental staff was very trustworthy (i.e. not trying to sell me stuff I don't need or screw me on billing). This review is to forewarn future patients! You will be ripped off financially! The doctor and the office manager (Ana) will upcharge you without your knowledge for the unnecessary treatment options, which will not be covered by your Dental insurance even when the dentist is part of their network. The Dental office is abusing their contractual obligations with Insurance companies by manipulating procedure codes. You will be charged THOUSANDS for it! You will be ripped off! Use them at your own risk, but make sure you get everything pre-approved with your insurance company in writing prior to any work done in this office. read more

I was highly recommended Dr. Lee from a good friend who has been going to see him for many years. I had been searching for an experienced periodontist for my dad and I am so glad my friend made that introduction! No words can express how grateful we are for what Dr. Lee has done to transform my dad's life. Prior to meeting Dr. Lee, my dear father had a couple of partial bridges that were coming off due to bone loss which made it very hard for him to eat and to speak properly. He was always self conscious about his teeth and I could see how it was affecting him. But after meeting Dr. Lee through the course of 12 months, he gave my dad a full mouth rehabilitation. If you don't know what that is, he pretty much replaced almost all my dad's teeth with a combination of implants and crowns! It's quite unbelievable to see the transformation in my dad. To this day, he cannot stop bragging about how he has real teeth. Thank you so much, Dr. Lee! If you are looking for a skilled specialist who is also very comforting and sympathetic to your needs, go see Dr. Lee. Who actually loves their dentist? I mean, sure it's a necessity but, love? I am now one of those people. I originally started going to Delaire Dental due to their proximity to ktown (YUM) and Dr. Lee's impressive pedigree - a very well trained and educated dentist AND a periodontist?? One stop shopping for anyone with receding gums! But WOW. I ended up truly LOVING their office! Everyone there treats you like family and I've been so welcomed and well cared for, I can't imagine going any place else. The work done is impeccable, the billing is smooth and honest, and they truly do care about you. It helps a lot that everyone is super cool and friendly! This was by far the most thorough dental cleaning I've had - with all of the dentists I've visited in the past, I didn't know consultations and cleanings could be seriously this comprehensive. Stephanie (Dr. Dumanian) went through an entire inspection inside and out - checking jaw clicks, gum lines, teeth color, bone health, - completely explanatory at every step of the way while making sure I was seeing the same things she was so I could truly understand. Each time she pointed something out she'd explain why it was important, what it all meant right now, but also what it could mean as far as needing any dental work down the line. Even looking at past work that had been done, she was able to piece together a history of teeth movement, my bite, and gum status. I found it all really fascinating. All in all the appointment took probably near to an hour and half. A lot of it was because of the deep cleaning she was doing on each and every tooth, but a lot was also spent learning about the ins and outs of the state of my own dental health. I seldom write reviews so when I do, you know I'm impressed. Dr. Mike's office was like no ohere that I've ever been to. His office was super modern and filled with all sorts of modern ammenities. I was even able to get a massage while getting my teeth worked on. Didn't know a massaging dental chair even existed. Also had a chance to chatch up on my TV show at the sam time. The staff was really nice and took time to answer all my questions. I never felt rushed or felt like I was bothering them with all of my questions. Hands down the best dental experience I've EVER had! Dr. Lee and Ania are a great team and I felt so cared for by both of them. I was in desperate need of some surgery to correct years of bad care. Dr. Lee explained everything to me and didn't make me feel like a loser for having dental issues, which I have had dentist who have. Ania worked out a payment plan with me (I have no dental insurance and the procedure cost was well beyond my means) and told me her main concern was my dental health, which I SUPER appreciated. The office itself is super nice and clean with beautiful decor. I love that they play music in the exam rooms. It helped me to feel relaxed while my mouth was being sliced open! Also repeatedly told me things were "not possible" when other dental offices and my insurance have told me otherwise. I booked an appointment here with one dentist only to be seen instead by another dentist. Despite the bait and switch, I decided to stay and get my annual exam over with. The assistant who took my x-rays was needlessly rough and ended up bruising my mouth pretty badly. More importantly, the practice billed another dentist who I never met and was out-of-network. My insurance provider processed the claim as such. It has been nearly a month since I brought this to their attention, and they have yet to resolve the issue. read more

Like many of the other posts have communicated, this was the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Lee is meticulous and price, yet calm, cool, and collected. He probes you with the right questions and diagnoses you in the most laidback manner, as if you were speaking with a good friend. His skills are top-notch. I have had stained teeth for a while now and my prior dentist could not determine the reason or make them white. Dr. Lee made my teeth pearly white again and confidently concluded that the stains were from drinking too much coffee. The office is high-tech, modern, progressive with background music to suit all tastes. He reviews your x-rays with you on a flat screen and explains complex-sounding medical concepts in layman's terms. For those who place interest on this, he has that exceptional Ivy League pedigree, but he is as down-to-earth as the girl next door, except that he is a guy. I found delaire dental on gilt city and went in for a cleaning, exam and x-rays. I had the most positive experience from the second I walked in the door. Their office has a great ambiance and the receptionist was very nice. Dr. Dumanian was truly amazing. She met with me before my cleaning to see if I had any questions. What an amazing practice! Dr. Lee saved my mouth- well my sanity. I have been a patient since 2014, and I knew they were always helpful, knowledgeable, with my insurance and my treatments. But this time, they saved me during the most dangerous time of NYC. COVID-19 has hit, NYC is told to shut down, NOTHING is open,and I get tremendous sharp pains in my mouth. This pain would not stop hurting! No pain medication helped. I was in tears. Called DELARE DENTAL, left a message, and Ania called me right back. Dr. Lee was able see me the next day and took care of my infection. I tell you, I NEVER want to feel this pain in my life ever again! Today, I went back for a follow up and was told all is healing very well. I left there with no pain, and my treatment plan. Ania took the time and explained what the treatment entailed. I used to come here when I worked in midtown. It's right on 5th avenue right by the Empire State Building. So convenient! It is very easy to make an appointment. The staff here are excellent. My first visit was great - Dr. Dumanian & I chatted in a patient meeting room that was so perfectly and modernly set up, it was calm and relaxing and helped ease the tension of starting with a new dentist. Dr. Dumanian is so personable and the team is amazing. I have gone in for two cleanings and couldn't be happier with the service! I also had a retainer made with a new material they swear by, and I absolutely love it. Good conversation, great teeth cleaning and even left with a few new restaurant recommendations to try out! They should be called a "Tooth Spa". I always feel so relaxed and pampered at my visits. The entire staff is amazing not just to the patients, but to each other, it's lovely. I have TMJ and gum recession/bone loss, Dr. Dumanian recommended a day appliance to help counter the damage. She explained my x-rays and even took oral photos to show me what was happening in my mouth and how the appliance would help. She always fits me in if my retainer needs adjusting, the place is amazing. They also take Care Credit which makes extras that insurance doesn't cover, super convenient. read more

I have never had a better dental exam or experience overall. The staff was lovely and very helpful (I forgot my insurance card and the receptionist was adroit at finding a workaround). Every staff/team member greets or acknowledges presence with a smile. Dr. Lee explained options clearly with a model or pictures on the flatscreen. He told me each step and what to expect during the procedure. The technichian assisting him was very attentive in keeping my lips clear of debris and mouth clear of saliva and water accumulation. I met Dr. Lee first time via local ad, and he provided me a treatment plan in January 2017, which was including entire teeth cosmetic crowns, plus three implants. Each tooth needed a different fit and adjustment, I have uneven size teeth, and spaces. The treatment started with Invisalign Braces for 8 months, in between implants, and final each crowns tailored to make sure fit nicely and comfortable. Entire treatment last about 20 months. I am very happy to give 5 starts on these (1) no waiting for the appointment and always get to see doctor soon I walked into the office; (2) extremely clean, and simplicity deco; (3) All office staffs are extremely friendly and professional that I have to mention Ania, Eva, Jessica etc. (4) emails and phone calls always work, (5) always attend my concern and schedule addition visit without delay, when Dr. Lee not on site, Dr. Dumanian would me see me, no issue; (6) total customer satisfaction in mind, (7) doctor skills are superb, very discipline, and total confident. I came in for emergency care with a broken tooth (which happened on the plane as I arrived in NY the night prior). Dr. Lee was super professional, made me feel at ease and fixed my tooth so I can enjoy my stay in NY. Ania was exceptionally helpful as well with my out of state insurance. I almost don't want to write this review to keep this secret to myself! Dr. Dumamian(m?) is amazing. She wowed me with her thorough cleaning the first time I came (she prefers to do the cleaning herself, and does not have a hygienist do it), and each subsequent visit after. On the first exam, she was able to diagnose my night grinding/clenching through a jaw exam and suggested I get a nightguard - but only if I wanted one. 1 year later, I begged for a night guard and it is seriously so nice! She adjusts it for me all time because bites change over time. Also, during the last year she has filled 2 cavities. 1 cavity was in a particularly difficult spot in the back of my mouth and required an advanced technique to avoid cutting out half of my tooth. I have feared and hated the dentist for as long as I can remember. I was so so nervous the first time I walked into Delaire Dental. Right when I walked in I was not only greeted by the receptionist but also by Dr. Dumanian herself. I went in for a cleaning, x-Ray, and exam. Kinsey's cleaning was the BEST and most thorough cleaning I have ever experienced. She kept a great conversation going the entire time and made me feel so relaxed. Dr. Dumanian also needed to fill one of my cavities. I am definitely sensitive in the mouth, but Dr. Dumanian's gentile hands made me feel absolutely nothing when she was injecting me with an anesthetic. I mean nothing at all. But now 3 years later, I realize, he not only burned the side of my lip (leaving a scar) but he's possibly the reason the side he worked on is slightly droopy.
