I highly recommend Dental House, especially if you've had bad experiences with dentists and are looking to reverse your opinion while improving dental health. I had a root canal that ended up requiring emergency treatment. They were 100% transparent about the price and didn't leave me with a surprise "shocker" bill, which has happened with a lot of dentists before. I was also told at each step what was going on, and for a pain freak like me, that helped calm me down. Two days later, my tooth is feeling great, and I'm about to bite into a hamburger with no pain. I cannot recommend this place enough and am using them now for regular cleanings, too. read more

I hate to write this, but I feel it's important to share our experience. My son went to Dental House and was told he had two cavities that needed to be filled, with an estimated cost of over $800. Wanting a second opinion, we took him to highly reputable dentist -- and surprisingly, they found no cavities at all and confirmed that nothing needed to be filled. When I first started going to this dentist in 2022 I absolutely loved it. Everyone was so nice and caring. Fast forward to now April 21, 2025, a completely different experience. Actually over the last year things have been different. They have a whole new receptionists/billing crew and they aren't the friendliest of people. I'll just leave it at that. if there was an option for 0 stars I would have given it. In 27 years i never have had a problem with my teeth, and they told me I had 8 cavities, and after filling 4, told me I still had 5 cavities left. they took advantage of the fact that I don't have dental insurance and was visibly anxious to get the most money possible out of me. after getting a 2nd opinion only 2 of the "9 cavities" were real, and much less severe than this dentist had said. Dental House had made a financial plan for me to get 3 cavities filled at a time and they added additional fillings mid way through the procedure to get more money out of me. these people are horrible do not go here!!!!! read more

I am unsure if you intentionally mislead me by your "bait and switch" pricing. You did however waste my time.  I expected not to be charge for my visit which I consider incredibly unprofessional and where I was made to feel like nothing more than a dollar sign instead of a patient. However I should not be surprised that you charged my insurance company. Your business practices are horrid and you should be ashamed. The receptionist had a calculator in her hand while I was in the dentist chair informing me that the fee over the phone was incorrect and that the procedure would now cost 120% more then what I was told. read more

I have been Loyal patient for many years. They keep raising prices on basic services like cleanings . Nothing has improved in terms of the care, but they expect patients to pay more. Also, the doctor takes vacations so much that my doctor is now only in office once a week. I need a dentist I can trust and rely on. In all seriousness, this practice has singlehandedly changed my viewpoints on all things "dental". From my first call, Dental House has been kind, caring, and upfront about pricing AND work to be done. They offered multiple opinions for my needs and made recommendations based on not only what I needed done, but also what I could handle in being such a scaredy cat. Before this visit I didnt go to the dentist often, thus needing a lot done. It was scary financially and mentally, tbh - but they made it easy for me to understand. I've officially found my NYC dental office. Wait times are low (for me I waited maybe a total of 15 mins over the course of 3 visits), and the office is clean, staff so so nice, and the location is great too. Whether you're just looking for a cleaning, or if you need root canals, crowns, etc - this is the place. Im even thinking about invisalign - maybe. That is something I would have NEVER entertained before this practice made me this comfortable. A+! read more

I have nothing but praise for the Dental House. Going to the dentist has always been a traumatic experience for me and at the Dental House they made me feel super comfortable detailing the work that will be conducted and putting myself at ease during the entire process. The cost aspect is always a difficult conversation especially when in pain but they made this the least painful part of the process providing me the various options up front before the work took place. I did use Dental House on a whim when my previous dentist wasn't available due to the pandemic but have now made them my permanent dentist. The interiors are nice and the dental chairs are comfy to sit for long periods. The only issue being the small waiting room but that's only a small gripe. I would recommend them highly and are located right off the 1,2,3 14th St train. read more

It was first time here and as many of the other reviews state, this was the first time I have enjoyed my experience at the dentist! I was greeted by the lovely Juliana at the front desk and within minutes was called back. Jasmine was doing my X-rays and cleaning today and I was so glad she was working with me. She made me feel comfortable and we were laughing a good majority of the time. Then I was seen by Dr. Danielle who was equally as amazing as everyone else who works at Dental House. The space itself was also cute & inviting. Overall, 10/10 and I am so happy I found my new dentist! read more

The cleaning was great. However, I am rating them 2 stars because I was referred out for my wisdom teeth to Greenwich Oral to Dr Paige-and it was horrendous referral, ended up charging me $675 for a 2 min consult for wisdom teeth (which is not what Dental House communicated). I called and told them about my bad experience and although apologetic, they said they had never heard of this happening before & refer many patients to Dr Paige... so beware of this referral, the costs were not upfront unfortunately! read more

This review is from an experience I had with the Dental House in October 2019. The experience was so awful that I couldn't even think about it until I walked by the place this past weekend. Long story short: I went in for a toothache. Dental House said I needed a root canal. Went in for said root canal, and mid procedure the dentist stopped and said they could not complete the root canal. With local anesthetic still fresh on my mouth, they told me to go to an oral surgeon (who didn't take my insurance) in midtown for an emergency tooth extraction. They told me to go to the oral surgeon asap because the local anesthetic they put in was still good for some time. So I hailed an Uber. At this point, I've left Dental House and never came back. I really believe that the dentists (plural, I saw at least 3 different dentists at the Dental House) should have evaluated my situation a little more closely. I think we all could have avoided having to even start the root canal procedure (of which I still paid for an incomplete root canal). The oral surgeon suggested I go back to the Dental House a few months after I fully heal to get my implant...I had/have no intention of ever going back to Dental House. I wouldn't have been able to go anyway because by then the COVID-19 Pandemic really blew up and NYC shut down. Do what you will with this information, but this is my honest review. read more

I typically don't write reviews, but I wanted to leave one for Dental House because it's one of the best dentist offices I've visited. Everyone is super friendly, the office is nice, and the hygienists and dentists are super detail-oriented. In the past, my dentist would just come in for a minute or 2, take a quick look and leave. This dentist took the time to discuss any concerns I might have and even got into which specific teeth I need to pay special attention to as they could cause problems in the future. I sent my very elderly mother in for an exam and cleaning this morning. Since it's still a Covid risk jay leaving the house nowadays and she is in the highest risk category and has not been to a dentist in a long time I was concerned. They assured me all Covid precautions are still in place. She came out of the experience raving about how kind and professional her visit was and is anxious to go back there to continue her dental health check ups. After the visit the dentist called me to go over any findings. So happy this practice is in Greenwich village and so convenient for so many. We highly recommend this practice. read more

The best dentist office I've ever been to, hands down. 1) Dr. Sonya Krasilnikov is great. She's as trustworthy as she nice, which is to say - very! She could have easily tried to sell me on Invisalign after my periodontist recommended as a potential solution to a gum issue I had, but Dr. Sonya recommended fillings instead, knowing that a) it would be less expensive and b) more effective than Invisalign. She also immediately caught an issue with my gums that my periodontist later confirmed was an issue, and I ended up getting osseous surgery for. My last dentist never said a word. 2) The office is super cute - I wish my apartment looked half as nice as their office, hah. The front desk staff is also really nice and friendly. 3) I forget the name of the woman who cleaned my teeth, but she did a great job. It didn't hurt at all and my teeth looked 3x better after cleaning than my last dentist's office. TLDR - Start going to Dental House! read more

I went to get my annual teeth cleaning here for the first time today. I highly recommend Dental House; I had a positive experience. Overall: -I had Sonya Krasilnikov DDS as my dentist and she gets 10 out of 10 stars in my book Highlights of Experience: -Nice receptionist who was extremely responsive -Practice is located in West Village, which I love. Who wants to go to Midtown to get their teeth cleaned? I feel dirty already just thinking about it. -Reminders about your appointment via text which is considerate -Beautiful waiting area (herringbone floors, books on the walls, sparkling water for waiting area) -Brand new dental equipment (most dentist offices don't bother to update their office or dental equipment, and I hate that. Everything that Dental House used on me was new, shiny, and high tech) -Before seeing me, they put a lovely smelling peppermint vaseline on my lips because when you're getting your teeth cleaned, your lips dry out. The fact that they were proactive about this says a lot. Also that they used something that smelled pretty also shows high attention to detail...that they care and are thoughtful -Even the bag that they gave me at the end with a toothbrush and toothpaste looked pretty -Warm towel at the end--this part was delightful, I've never had this before at my dentist! -I have insurance but their pricing is transparent, which any consumer out there will appreciate Thanks Dental House and Sonya Krasilnikov DDS! I made my first appointment at Dental House about 2 weeks after they opened. Their offices are so beautiful and I was in the market for a new dentist in the city. I am SO happy I decided to become a patient here. Dr. Krasilnikov and Dr. Sinensky are incredibly nice, trustworthy and they are both extremely detailed dentists. Really unfortunate experience and I was expecting more given the allegedly high rating. I made an appointment on ZocDoc and soon afterward received a call from Dental House on which I was told that ZocDoc wasn't up to date and they weren't available then (maybe they're using that as a trick to get people to book with them). I was able to schedule an appointment for another time by talking to the woman on the phone, but when I showed up for it they claimed to have no record of my appointment and the woman at the front desk basically denied talking to me even though she was the one I talked to. They were unable to see me so I basically spent a bunch of money on Uber to not get my teeth cleaned. Incompetent, rude, and unapologetic. Avoid at all costs!! read more

I had a great experience with Dental house. The office itself is beautiful, modern cozy and relaxing. Those in charge of checking you in were very well mannered and welcoming. The same can be said for the dental assistant. I came in believing that my tooth needed a root canal retreatment which turned out not to be the case. Dr kerpel treated me with care and took the time to explain everything that was happening with the tooth. Turns out it didn't need any work. Will definitely be returning if I need work done. The staff was very nice and professional. I have dental implants but the hygienist said she didn't need to clean underneath it because the X-ray showed everything was fine. I'd prefer the implant to be cleaned regardless. Otherwise the cleaning was good and my teeth were sparkling. read more
