So, this is wonderful place is tucked away off Main Street. After driving by, I wasn't sure I should expect much. Well, let me tell you- I was wrong. *Deep Breath* Now that I've admitted I was... wrong... I've got to admit this was the dinner I have been looking for in Columbus for the past 20 years. Breakfast foods, quick service, yummy pancakes, and the staff keeps a hot pot of coffee circulating at all times. The bacon was crispy. Real eggs were made to order. We checked out Delaney's Diner last week. The menu had a wide variety of food. It was difficult making up our minds. I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was very good. My husband ordered the fried bologna. He loved it. I see several more trips to this diner to try the other menu items. They serve breakfast, lunch, and brunch. Their hours are 7am to 2 pm weekdays and 7:30 am to 2:30 pm weekends. The prices are very reasonable. read more

Very good small brunch diner. I've had the western omelet, hash browns and biscuit several times now and it is really good. Ive tried the pancakes once, and found them tough, flat and very chewy. I just want to start by saying I do not typically write complaints or very negative reviews on here but because the experience was so horrible I feel the need. We came in on a Saturday morning with a party of 7 so we expected to wait for a table. Surprisingly, we waited only maybe 15 minutes which was great. We were able to order within about 10 minutes and then proceeded to wait for about 45-50 minutes for our food. Which to be honest isn't that big of a deal since they were busy. A few missteps with the food when it came to the table but nothing major until I went to take a second bite of my food and found hair under my food on the plate. Here is my issue. I sent it back and didn't order anything else and the server was very apologetic. The group continued eating and at no point did a manager or owner come over to talk to us and at least apologize. When I mentioned to the server when I asked for our bill that I was surprised she said she told the owner and they were on the line cooking. A few minutes later a woman came over and asked how she could help us. When I asked her what she meant she said "the server said you wanted to talk to me". I must have looked surprised because she went on to say "I took the meal off the bill that had the lint on the plate" I quickly corrected her that it was hair and her reply was "well ok yea". We parted ways with just asking her to take our card and get us cashed out. I can say I can't remember the last time I was so offended by how I was approached after pointing out something was wrong. And it was HAIR. Very gross. All that to say the one bite I had was good but we will not be back. read more

Breakfast is good. Lunch is terrible. Had the fish and chips, it was clearly frozen fish Patties. Ruben is pretty good.

The breakfast was super good. The staff is very friendly. I cannot believe how clean this place is. The noise level is just right. The sausage gravy was on the light colored side and it tasted great. They have both chicken sausage links or regular sausage patties. The waitress was very attentive. But even the coffee tasted great. I will be back for lunch. read more

I first heard about this Diner a few years ago when I read that they served the original Pasta Salvi prepared at the former Salvis Italian restaurant. My daughter and I met a friend and her daughter at the Westerville location and enjoyed our meal including the Pasta Salvi. Last week we discovered that a new location opened in the Reynoldsburg area closer to home so today we took the whole family there for breakfast after church and it did not disappoint! The kids meals were perfectly portioned. My corned beef hash was delicious with chucks of corned beef (not shreds) and potatoes. My husband for the all meat omelet with loaded hash browns including their delicious sausage gravy. And of course, I ordered the Pasta Salvi which made my day! The servers are friendly and pleasant. After church on a Sunday around 11:00, we decided to try the new location in Reynoldsburg for the first time. I called to see if they had call ahead seating and she said only during the week but not on weekends. I thought, well you probably don't need it during the week. I asked how long the wait was and was told about 10-25 minutes so we headed on over. When we arrived I gave our name and went over to be seated to wait. As I was walking away, another couple came up to the counter and the hostess said she had 2 seats at the counter & they said they would take those. I walked back over to her and said Why did you offer the counter seats to the people that came in after me? She said I didn't think you would want to sit there. I said that wasn't your decision to make. I was here first so I should have been offered the seating first. She kinda chuckled and said What do you want me to do, tell them they have to move? I said you need to at least apologize. She shrugged and said Yeah, sorry Not the best way to start off our first visit at a new place. I think of that old adage, "You only get one chance to make a first impression." About 5 minutes later she called my name and we were seated at the counter. We had a great server named Portia. She took our orders. He ordered the Indy 500. I ordered the Delaney's Breakfast which was 2 eggs which I had scrambled with cheddar cheese, bacon cooked to crispy perfection and pancakes or French toast. I chose the pancakes and added blueberries. They brought our food in about 10 minutes. There were no blueberries in my pancakes so I said I think I ordered my pancakes with blueberries. She said yes you sure did, let me fix that for you. It actually worked out great bc I was able to eat my bacon and eggs while they were hot and by the time I was finished, my corrected blueberry pancakes had arrived piping hot! They were really delicious! Several people around me that hadn't ordered yet said, based on my order, they were going to order the pancakes! They were further enhanced by the warm syrup! I really do think it should be against the law to serve pancakes without serving warm syrup! It makes such a difference!!! So although the visit started out kind of rocky, it ended up really great! Visited another diner in town for breakfast the week before we came here. It had very high reviews, and we ordered one of our favorites, corned beef hash. What a disappointment! It was literally corned beef hash from a can! Salty, mushy, with no visible pieces of corned beef. So glad we came here. Gave their corned beef hash a try and did they ever deliver!! Hand cut red skinned potatoes and BIG hunks of corned beef. Not lunch meat, as we've had at other diners. This chef knows how to make corned beef hash, the way it's SUPPOSED to be made! Food wasn't hot, I asked for crispy hasbrowns and they were undercooked. My husband's french toast was mushy in the middle, and he had an egg shell in his scrambled eggs. Overall, not really impressed with the food, would've been better if it were cooked completely and hot. The place is nice, looks like a "diner", but they should've built the wall in front of the door taller and wider, to block the air when the door opens, as it just comes straight through and probably had something to do with making the food colder. It wasn't so bad that we won't give it another try, but if the next time isn't better, I doubt we will be back. read more

Our waitress was a sweet heart. Other employees barely cracked a smile. Food was good. Hot chocolate was awful. What earned this place a one star was the fact that their restroom is located right in the seating area (like you are eating watching people go into the one person restroom) and a man went in and didn't come out for about 20 mins. I had a great experience here. I was only visiting Columbus for the weekend and was on my way to the Otherworld attraction, so I did a quick search for diners on the way. This little gem came up just down the street. Mid-morning on a Sunday, I expected to have to wait a while, but I ended up getting a seat at the counter within five minutes or so. They have an electronic wait system that texts you when a table is ready, so I was able to enjoy the nice weather outside at some cement tables. The service at the counter was great - it is situated towards the back of the restaurant near the kitchen, so there is plenty of opportunity for the staff to check in. Coffee was great, ordered the corn beef hash and eggs and was very pleasantly surprised to see that it is home made corned beef - not just Mary Kitchen. The house potatoes were cooked very well - plenty of bite without being underdone or overdone. (There's nothing worse than mushy home fries.) In all, I was very happy with my experience start to finish, and if I find myself back in Columbus, I'll be back. read more
