I rarely go out for breakfast, and this is way across town from where I reside, but I did happen to be close on Sunday morning, so I called in a carryout order for myself. I immediately zoomed in on the breakfast conewich on the menu and that's what I ordered. The gal on the phone was friendly, and 15 minutes later when I walked in, 2 of them at the desk were friendly as well. This conewich was spectacular. I've never had anything like it. It was a tasty bread cone, filled with scrambled eggs, cheese, green peppers, and hash browns. What's not to like? It was filling, but not too much. It was very satisfying. I want one now. Located where The Best Breakfast Sandwhich once was and i absolutely love the remodeling they have done! They extended and finally took advantage of the vacant space next door opening up more seating availability and much more spacious. They have excellent early bird specials until 730am and have a nice menu that extends to lunch.. A few things i love about this place: 1. The owner left corporate to follow his dream. Hats off to you!! 2. It's named after his daughter 3. Mom and pop feel 4. They support local business (cajohns hot sauce offered at every table) 5. They have sour dough bread 6. I ordered online and that was super easy. They have a pretty big menu split into breakfast, entrees and sandwiches. I like the variety! My order was ready for pickup right when they said it would be. The food was awesome!! Best grilled cheese ever. My friend loved his fish sandwich. He said it was exactly what he wanted. Pasta Salvi is bomb too. Very similar to fried Mac & cheese. Awesome food and Staff! Last night my husband took me to a "nice" restaurant for my birthday dinner. It was terrible. He felt bad that the service and food was not good and was expensive. This morning (my actual birthday NYE) he totally made it up with breakfast at Delaneys! The food was delicious and the staff are warm and welcoming. Felt like you we're having breakfast with family. Fantastic diner! This was our third time dining here and every time has been wonderful! First off, the service here is top notch. The server training program would rival the nicest of dining establishments in Central Ohio! Seriously, the service is that good. Today there were three of us in our group. My wife had the salad and pasta salvi and our daughter had eggs, bacon and toast. If you have never had a pasta salvi make it a point to stop in here and try it! They are great. Both my wife and daughter enjoyed their meals very much. I had the western omelet, hash browns and toast. My server skillfully suggested ghost pepper jack cheese and it was an excellent idea. It had the perfect amount of heat. The hash browns were perfectly cooked and the rye toast was thick, fresh and well buttered. This is how a diner should be!! This was a hit with my husband and I! I love diners, and this is not your typical greasy spoon place. They have a variety of options on the menu and the prices are VERY reasonable. We visited today, Sunday at about 1145 a.m., it was busy, but we were seated right away. The place is really cute, clean and has ample seating. It's not too loud, either. Very comfortable. I ordered the fried bologna and fries ($8.99), and my husband ordered the two egg breakfast with bacon, toast and hash browns ($5.99). The bologna is made locally, and I have to say it is the best I've tried in Columbus. My husband really enjoyed his breakfast, and made special mention to how good the hash browns were. The coffee was great, too, and our server was on top of it with refills. One thing I especially loved about this place was how friendly the staff is and how they helped each other out! I was probably spoken to by about 4 employees on my way out of the place, each one telling us to have a "wonderful day and take care". Our server was so nice and talkative. My husband and I were in town on business and looking for a good lunch near our hotel. This place popped up with good reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. Delaney's doesn't look like much, tucked into a strip mall that seems to have seen better days, but inside is a true diner and not a greasy spoon. Great food at a good price with excellent service. Not having time to wait we opted for two seats at the counter. I'm glad we did because it was amazing to watch the efficiency and cooperation of the staff working in the small galley kitchen behind the counter. Our server was a nice college age man who greeted us with 'man' and 'sir'. (I'm sorry I don't remember his name) My husband ordered the Hoosier Pork Tenderloin with coleslaw and I ordered the BLT Conewich with a side of pasta salvi, as suggested by our server. (See pictures) Best Tenderloin Ever! Sad to say that we had to visit Ohio for the best Hoosier Tenderloin I've ever tasted. It was thick and tender with a bread ding that had just the right amount of seasoning. The coleslaw was also done right. BLT in a Cone! My BLT Conewich was great too. All the ingredients of the BLT diced and tossed like a salad then put into what seemed like a tender pretzel dough shaped like a cone. The Pasta Salvi is best described as a version of fried mac n' cheese but very tasty. We would highly recommend Delaney's if you are looking for something off the beaten path. First Saturday open review. There will be a follow up. This is what you'll see now. They doubled their dining room space, which is great, buuut... I'll come back to that. The staff was as friendly as you would like. The food is hot and cooked right. I thought the portions were perfect for the price. My breakfast casserole was smaller than I expected, served with hashbrowns, but $6 is a bargain. There was no bread or side meat to drive the price up for something you may not want. Now back to the buuut. It makes sense to me, double your seats, but didn't double your kitchen. The skill set of that kitchen staff could not compete with the orders. Almost everyone in there was getting 50min ticket times. When it's slower, it's probably better. My advice is to order instant gratification as a prelude to your breakfast. Biscuits and gravy for the table. Grilled cinnamon roll. Muffin. These items will help fill the void while your meal ticket is waiting it's turn on the grill. They're going to dial it in, and make it. I look forward to a better visit each return trip. read more

Homestyle breakfast at a decent price. Delaney's has the old style feel but do not mistaken it for a hole in the wall. It is very clean and the service is amazing. Well what can I say about this place, besides Wow. It was our first time going here and from the outside looked lke it would be a greasy spoon, boy was I surprised by how clean and NICE it was in there! The food was amazing! Best hashbrowns ever! We went to Delaney's Diner the other morning and we were both very impressed. It was so clean and bright, I loved Best Breakfast but it seems like a dive compared to Delaney's. The service was excellent, I didn't feel cramped or on top of the other guests are the tables by us. The food was delicious. We got eggs, sausage and pancakes. I think it's called Delaney's Breakfast. It was so good. The pancakes were huge, sausage had great flavor, and eggs were cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be back as soon as we can. read more

Delaney's diner is the 3rd owner in this location, but they are the one that has definitely been there the longest, several years by now, enough to establish a good reputation. They kept the excellent pancakes and the killer corned beef hash that the original guy who opened the diner had. They also use locally sourced hot sauce.
