Stopped here for breakfast one morning on a weekend Columbus trip gotta say it's a good little diner quick and eager service only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it's just lacking a little seasoning I ordered the "conewitch" which was good but pretty bland scrambled eggs and some hash browns but over all definitely recommend this place just wish it had a little more zest to that griddle but the Columbus made hot sauce on the table definitely saved it read more

Joined a friend for breakfast Saturday morning about 8am. Place is about half full so was seated immediately. I am glad they have expanded the size of the diner of the previous place. Gives you a bit more elbow room. Our waitress (wish I grabbed her name) was so sweet and fantastic. She answered all my questions and stay very attentive to our table. I ordered the Big Breakfast Sandwich. I asked for my egg poked and flipped. I explained to her that I am a mom and grandma and I have to make terms simple to my family. I received quite a giggle from those around us. So I had bacon, egg, Swiss cheese, hash browns, lettuce, and tomato on wheat bread. This sandwich was HUGE! It was very fresh, hot, and good! Honestly they have the best corned beef in the city. It's the only thing I order whether it's hash or a Rueben sandwich. I normally make a trip to Cleveland once a quarter to buy corned beef. This is a good substitute. Service is just ok. I've had some issues dining in and the take out orders are never ready when they say they'll be. Ambiance is good. It's a typical cafe style interior. I liked the menu at Delaney's. I thought they had some fun options you may not see at other diners. There was a lot of table seating or you could sit at the counter. We ended up sitting at the counter. I wish the dishwashing area was not completely out in the open. It was really loud as they were clanking dishes through. I had the breakfast conerito. I love the concept- a dough cone stuffed with scrambled eggs, onion, peppers, cheese I added sausage. Served on its side over a small portion of hash browns. The filling was really tasty and I loved the hash browns. Super crispy! I wasn't a fan on the cone. It didn't have much flavor, wasn't warm. I had high hopes. Then... the 20 minute wait became 35, then it was fully another 25 minutes after placing the order to get tepid GFS food. My eggs were prepared exactly as requested and had they been even warm it wouldn't be so sad. My friends french toast, advertised as being made with challah, wasn't. It was some kind of egg bread, but definitely not challah. My potatoes were fresh out of the GFS box, cool, not browned, and doused in prep. So they tasted like soggy hash browns with buttery topping. Because that is what I was served. The sausage patties were generically steamed on the flat-top and then allowed to cool to room temperature somewhere. Totally harmless. My last grump is the toast. It had at some point been exposed to hot wires. That was long before they were delivered to me. Cold and lifeless. I had such high expectations, too high I suppose. This breakfast tasted exactly like what it is to lose hope. One star for super friendly staff. One star for a clean potty. Maybe someday I will be inclined to try this place again. Maybe not... Ill start off by saying that I have unrealistic standards for dining out as I come from the industry yet.. Despite my critical way of assessing efficiency, service, decor, cleanliness, accommodations and variety this diner gets 100% in each category. Staff: An empowered team works best, especially when the cook tells me "this is the best job I've ever had." From one of the most busy people in the diner, to hear this tells me that the owner knows what leadership is. The waitresses are extremely friendly, frequently fill up drinks and will even find a newspaper for you. One of my biggest pet peeves relates to a less than motivated work force and every staff member owns their role with pride and a smile. Food: Clean, flavorful, well prepared and high quality. Fresh fruit was being cut on our last visit and my daughter was given a bowl of cantaloupe to try out! The coffee is proper, I drink mine black and this is definitely not an instant brand or something that was sitting around all morning! Delicious. The menu caters to every belly size and preference and there are many healthy options to choose from. Higher quality bacon than what most food services provide also!! My family ate here when the location was occupied by "Best Breakfast" and we decided on Saturday morning to give the new restaurant a try. I felt instantly at home in a place that looked very clean and had a comfortable red and chrome, somewhat retro decor. There is far more seating than in the previous restaurant and it's all very open and well organized. The staff was also very friendly. The cleanliness, cute decor, and friendly staff are what earned the restaurant a 4-star rating from me and my family. We all agreed we would give the food 3.5 stars if that were possible. The hash browns were good. My daughter's french toast was somewhat burned, although it looked like it would have been very good if it hadn't been. My husband and I ordered biscuits and eggs covered in homemade sausage gravy with shredded cheese on top. The biscuits were ok. The eggs were good. No problem with the cheese on top. But the sausage gravy was disappointing - the flavor was so-so, but it had very little sausage. We all agreed we would be willing to go back and try some other things.
