AMAZING French Toast & Breakfast Potatoes

AMAZING dishes & GREAT Customer service I was so grateful to find vegan options in the "food court" contented to my hotel... but I was COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY by this AMAZING restaurant & GREAT customer service. Each dish I tried was PERFECTLY seasoned & so filling. YOU MUST GO & TELL EVERYONE how AMAZING this place is.

It's on the first floor of a hotel. We were greeted then shown to the restaurant. We had reservations at 6pm and sat down immediately. The vibe in the restaurant was great. We were greeted immediately by our server and a trainee. I ordered an old fashioned and my wife ordered a specialty cocktail. Both tasted great however, wait for the drink was excessive. The bar had an afterwork crowd and it appeared a bit understaffed. For my meal I ordered grilled octopus for a starter and I think it was one of the best I've ever had. Tender, savory with a really flavorful sauce. My wife had the Ricotta focaccia. Loved it. For dinner I had the pasta with mushroom and truffle. It was amazing. Temperature was perfect. It was hot, creamy and amazingly flavorful. My wife had the bream fish dish. She enjoyed that as well. For dessert we had the almond/chocolate tort. Very nicely warmed with a rich chocolate flavor to end the meal. I'll be back for sure.

We tend to be more casual however my niece wanted to celebrate her birthday. Our server Eileen was very pleasant. We were also brought to the table by Mia who was so personable and explained the menu. First, is the constant yelling to the men who were preparing meals by I think was the chef. He was overseeing that meals were prepared but I kept thinking he was arguing with someone. My easy peasy drink was great. I had the lobster linguini, I think there were 4 nickel size lobster pieces in the linguini , linguini was not Al dente, overcooked, and the flavor was non descriptive. If I served it , even on a weeknight at home I'd be apologizing. My husband had the durado , he said it was so so, my sister thought her meal average and named several other places we had eaten that she would prefer, my niece had the pork , no rave review. The flourless chocolate cake was good. I was told cheesecake ok. The price was moderate, but I have paid a lot less for a lot better. When I read how the meals were prepared and ingredients I thought we were headed into a very special dinner. I hate writing negative reviews but I did teach cooking when I was younger and have certain expectations when I am going to a now celebrated restaurant.

I should have read the Yelp reviews before eating here. This place is one step below super basic. I…read morewasn't expecting a life changing experience, but two of our four sandwiches were basically inedible without serious doctoring at home (we ordered takeout). The Ruben and chicken pesto sandwiches were fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to come to Timothy's again just for either of those, but they were at least edible. The "zesty chicken" sandwich was neither "zesty" nor actual chicken. It was a school lunch style breaded "chicken" patty (microwaved?), served on a dry bun with a tablespoon of a sauce and red cabbage mix. If we had been eating there, I would have sent it back - something I've only done a couple of times in my entire life. They also forgot an item from my order, which happens and wasn't a huge deal, but just a flag for folks to check their entire order before leaving if you do takeout. I'm not super picky. I love hole-in-the-wall places. I love basic bar food. But Timothy's really doesn't cut it. We won't be back.

We had a very nice experience at Timothy's. Lovely day so we sat outside. I loved our waiter and the self-proclaimed .World's Okayest bartender.' We started with the crab fries, they were very tasty. I just ate Jordan's leftover burger, it was extremely tasty. Luckily everything else was lovely because the cheesesteak was average at best. The meat had a very nice meat flavor

Amanda, our server, was a ray of sunshine and was especially attentive to our little one. she has a grandchild and relished the special time our daughter had while eating away from home. The layout is pretty basic with a series of long high-top tables with a few lower tables to boot. I asked for a spicy Blood-Mary and that's exactly what I received ! Well done! Other breakfast items came as ordered and all of the food was very good . Prices were fair and we really enjoyed our time there and whenever in the area would definetly return.

Everyone there is so friendly and we got to know many of the servers, bartenders, etc. Kudos to Tiera, Victoria and Amanda who are all awesome! During our visits, we had the pan seared salmon, grilled pork chop, crab eggrolls and fried mozzarella. The salmon and pork chop were delicious! The eggrolls had a great crab flavor and a sauce that had a slight kick. There is inside and outside seating. I recommend River Rock Kitchen if you are staying at the hotel or in the area.

However, I should acknowledge that I didn't have a full meal here, instead opting for a margarita and a snack. My house margarita was fine... not the best I've ever had, but not bad either, though the $13 price point is a little steep. One of my colleagues ordered the Green Fire Margarita, which was a unique spin on a spicy margarita with some fresh herbs added, truly getting that "green" taste. Very unique, but would not be a good choice for the cilantro = soap crew. I ordered the side of plantains, which were cooked well and served with cotija cheese. Overall delicious, but nothing out of the ordinary. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. Vibe is cool, and they do have some patio seating overlooking the river.
