Great humongous subs, very good pizza, and a friendly atmosphere. They also have a decent little selection of brewskis. However, you cannot drink them on the premises, but only to go. This place has become a weekly stop in, if not more since I have moved to Troy. They also have a good selection of giant slices. Everything they make here is big and will fill you up. Mixed review here. Their sub's have been "hit or miss" in my experience. A lot of times there is more bread than fillings. For the price I feel there should be much more meat. I've always felt rushed while in there, even when they aren't busy. The pizza I don't have mixed feelings on. I don't even look at their slices anymore. The slices look like they've been there since yesterday. Even slices that usually are fresh I.e. cheese and pepperoni, often look like they've sat on the counter since the first pies of the day. When I stopped in for a sub today there was a very long line, so I decided one last time to walk over and check the pizza. Big mistake. Even this early in the day every pizza option looked old and not even presentable. I take classes close to this shop so I tend to stop in for lack of options besides fast food. Great subs! My wife swears by the Briana sub. She has em twice a week. The Cordon Blue sub is my favorite.

Took 45 minutes for 1 sub and 1 calzone, and when my boyfriend went it to pick up the staff hadn't even started the order. Meanwhile multiple people came in and ordered and left with their food before ours was done. The staff were goofing around and loudly swearing at each other as well. Read through most of these reviews. Agreed the sandwiches are great and really big. Beer selection is very meh. But the reason for my review is the incredibly miserable staff that looks perturbed that you would order anything. Sandwich maker, cashier, you name it. Rude, not-friendly staff. Try pelegrinos down rte 4 if you want a great sub, lots of places in the area with better beer selection(price chopper across the street). I won't be back because of the attitudes. read more

legit used to come here every single day for lunch when I attended hvcc. They have some of the biggest slices of pizza and the biggest subs I've ever seen. they're subs are packed with meat and vegetables, they have a wide variety of cheeses. they use boars head meat which is one of the best deli brands you can buy. the overall appearance of the store is a little under average. if the food wasn't so good I probably would pay more attention to the cleanliness of the store. then again it is kind of like a convenient shop that sells bomb ass subs. they sell macaroni & tuna salads that are also great to go on the side with your subs. they also have soups you can scoop out by the warmers. they have a place where you can sit in and eat. they also have a breakfast menu and they sell convenience store products such as tobacco, cigars, cigarettes ect. wonderful staff always so friendly & a little flirty at times LOL. You'll have to fight the crowd of Troy workers when you go in though - it's a popular place would deff recommend going eaither after 1:30 pm or before 11:30 am. if you go in during lunch hour they will take a while to get to you due to the line. they don't take your order and write it down, they just kind take your order and call you back up when your subs done. read more

I am a regular here , I come all the time This place has the best subs ever and they give you a great portion of meat for a very reasonable price. I never had a problem the workers are always funny and helpful... however the reason they received 3 stars was because I came all the way from clifton park after checking when they close and it said 10:00 online and at the door.. I got there at 9:01 and they were extremely rude to me and said they were closed and to leave.. Than I drove back 3 days later and I was not impressed by there customer service yet again. It's ashame when such a good place turns you away because of bad customer service. read more

This place used to be a staple of my group of friend's eating out in Troy and the surrounding area. However, too frequently have they begun to completely get the order wrong, when you are standing in front of them telling them what you want on your sub. The sizes are great, prices are great, but if I get the wrong sandwich that means nothing. The last time we went the person making the sandwich spent the entire time facing the wall mumbling to herself and then glaring at us when we couldn't hear her asking us what we wanted. The service is absolutely arrogant and we are tired of being treated like unwanted customers and given wrong orders. Deli and Brew used to be a favorite, we are now never going there again. read more

BLT subs only have 2 slices of bacon on them. Definitely NOT worth the $7.29. Would not recommend this place at all.

If you're looking for subs, this is the best place to stop. Those other sub places might toss your sub into an oven, but Deli 'n Brew is a personalized business. The owner and the employees are very friendly. They are very knowledgeable about the sub that you want and pay attention to your every request. Their cooked subs (e.g. chicken parm, chicken cordon bleu, meatball, etc.) are their strong suit, but even their regular subs (e.g. turkey, Italian mix, etc.) are awesome. Subs are loaded up with half or a full pound of meat that gets weighed out every time they make one. They also have a really good pizza with a good selection of specialties such as buffalo chicken, barbecue chicken, and a few others. They their own mac 'n cheese, chili, and pasta and potato salads to add some variety to your meal. As it is also a convenience store, you can pick up a few of your bare essentials or some iced tea or some beer. They do have seating for eat-in orders and even a few picnic tables for outdoor meals during the summer. read more
